Honestly, this place was the best place out of over 20 places my wife and I stayed in North America (both USA and Canada) that is not paid by my job. It exceeded my expectation, and we really liked it. The gentleman at the front desk was fantastic when checking in, and I still appreciate him being nice to my wife and she called the place to ask about the pet policy, and other associates were great as well. The room was clean enough and Nikki did a fantastic job for our room. It meets my OCD expectation, I felt bad when the bathroom floor tiles constantly got dirty by shoes somehow even when they were completely dry. I ended up wiping the floor with newspaper before leaving because it seemed dirty. First / last place that offers bottled water during the trip - 2 bottles per guest, and IHG suite that we stayed in Illinois didn't even offer that. The place doesn't include the breakfast option, however there's a complementary breakfast - cereal, some fruits, yogurt, coffee and others. It's complementary clearly, and I just appreciate that. The room was huge, and hvac works good - a little bit noisy but still fine. Lastly, Applebee's, Aldi, Walmart, Dollar Tree are in walkable distance. Overall, if we ever go back to Corning, this is the place I would book again.

The only complain I would mention is the tv remote. It's not the original one and really hard to find channels. It is what it is and it was not important to us.

We stayed at this place a month ago, while coming back from Chicago. It was two nights stay and we liked it - friendly staff and unmentioned breakfast (which I understand, it's a type of grab and go, and if the place ever displays this option, people would complain about "horrible breakfast" or "could do better on breakfast" etc. We decided to stay here again, and the reception desk on July 3rd, she was very friendly and helpful.

Unlike the room we stayed last time, Wifi at our room was horrible. Additional wifi extender would work better. Also, spider web on the TV was a little disappointment, black spider came out from inside a pillow case. Well, what can you do? There's no hallway which means access to outside directly. A stupid large family right next door, I don't even know how many people came out from the room but the place really needs to control the guests limit (it was a couple, one or two kids, another one old person, and an adult from one single room. Just wow)

We were travelling to Rochester NY from SE PA for a Saturday collegiate soccer game and wanted to split up the drive. Corning area was the best option. This wasn't a vacation so we wanted a budget friendly place to stay. Additionally it had to be pet friendly since we were travelling with our pooch. Reviews for this motel were good and the price certainly was right. The motel is old (originally built in 1962) but our room was updated and very large. Set up nicely with lots of space for everything. Floor was laminate which is always best for a pet room. Bathroom was old but clean. Front desk staff was so nice and helpful. Place is sprawling...plenty of places to walk our dog. Small but very nice pool. Breakfast was grab and go and just as described (cereal, granola bars, fruit, yogurt).

The shower pressure was really low. I think this could be remedied with a different shower head. Bananas would be a nice additional for the fruit offerings for breakfast.

Pleasantly surprised - beds were extremely comfortable with nice linens, room was very spacious, and although a bit worn, seemed very clean and well cared for. I wasn't expecting a mini fridge and microwave let alone a little coffee and tea set up. The breakfast was basic, but a helpful start to the day, and finally both the evening and morning reception staff were friendly. I would definitely return if I come to Corning again.

Though they are making a point for this to be a non smoking environment, unfortunately the odors of the past still linger..I'm more sensitive than a lot of people probably are, but it would have been nice to be able to open the window and let in some fresh air. The a/c unit worked ok, though.

The room was big, furnishings and so on were quite new and the general condition of the room was good for the price which was cheap compared to the other hotels in the surrounding area for a race weekend at WGI who were charging way above normal rates for the weekend. Bathroom was in decent condition and the AC worked great. The staff were helpful and friendly. Good location with gas stations, walmart and a couple of eating options very nearby.

While the inside of the rooms was good, the outside looks pretty run down and very dated indeed. Could see some work going on with a few of the buildings so hopefully updates are in progress. The door to the room would not open unless you yanked the handle out before pulling it down after inserting the keycard which was far from obvious and required a quick trip to reception to get them to send maintenance out to show us - he knew of the problem and told us the doors were 60 years old. Hopefully they'll be working on this as I'm guessing everyone who stays in that room has the same issue.

It was in the perfect location. It is a very sweet old motor inn. We would stay there again if it works into our travel plans.

The only real problem was the outside light was right outside the bathroom. It was on all night lit up the bathroom and into the room unless the door was closed. But I think if we had been even 1 room farther down the row it wouldn’t have been a problem. We just happened to get the middle of the building, where the outside porch type light was.

The staff were very friendly, accommodating and went above and beyond. The room was clean, comfortable and had an air conditioner, fridge and microwave. The rooms have private entries and we could park right at the door which is very convenient (We were on the ground floor). Coffee in the lobby. Close proximity to local attractions. There is an outdoor pool and the grounds are very nice. 24 hour desk. We would stay again.

No ATM.

The room was excellent size... Love there being no carpet in our room. While it is an older facility.. the renovation in the works (other room areas) are designed for cleanliness, comfort and upkeep. It was super clean and extremely comfortable. A/C was cold, quiet and not blowing across the bed directly. Courtyard maintained for a lovely view if drapes are open. Other grass areas were mowed. There could be more weeding done around front office. All staff very friendly and attentive. Had trouble getting TV (A little small but again not a biggy for us) and staff came right in to get us going.. just input was off. We would definitely stay again.

Ice not self accessible.. not a biggy. I think the packaged breakfast bars (squares) of choice could be of a much better quality. Curtains over A/C could be shorter to not blow out and slightly open when it's running.

Quiet, clean, and easy to get to. About 20 minutes to WGI. Walmart and Aldi's next door. Staff were fantastic and friendly, especially the young lady that was there Saturday and Sunday evening.

The toilet was too close to the sink. The carpet is dark, personal pet peeve of mine for hotel/motels...but I understand why. TV was small and couldn't change the inputs to use my Roku stick (ironically, it's a Roku TV but there was no way to get to the home screen because the remote was a generic hotel remote).

The room was comfortable, clean and quite. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful.

I placed a bag that I used for carrying clothes on my motorcycle outside to dry as I had washed an area that had been soiled. No fault of the hotel this bag was stolen. The staff went above and beyond to assist me in locating it, and also gave me a rebate on my nights stay. This was not expected but much appreciated. Definitely recommend this hotel if staying in the area
