Location is perfect. Cleanliness is TOP. Bed is okay. The breakfast was decent but the same every day. The choice of dishes included scrambled eggs (made from real eggs), boiled egg, potato salad, hamburger meat or fried bacon, cheese spread, butter, Nutella, American pancakes, maple syrup, several types of jam, apple and orange juices, coffee with additives, tea, milk, breakfast cereals, bagels, bread, and toast. The breakfast is okay but gets boring very quickly. Considering the price of the hotel, the breakfast is okay.

When I made the reservation, I wasn't aware that the LIC hotel assumed my wife, daughter, and I would sleep in the same bed. When I realized this, I went to ask for an extra bed, and I was charged an additional 50 dollars per night, which is okay. I was just surprised by the fact that the three of us were expected to sleep in the same bed.

The Staff was cooperative, helping out and modest. The facilities were par excellence. The Hotel is located just a block away from Court Square/23rd Street Station on the "E" line; thus easy access from JFK via the Jamaica Station. There are food joints close by, en even for a strict vegetarian there indeed are some options. The Park beney the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge boasts of a breath-taking view of the Manhattan Skyline. The Breakfast was a decent one: continental so that for a vegetarian like me there was cereal and milk, and yes, potato wedges, bread, butter and jam ! Connectivity to Manhattan and in fact to anywhere in NYC is excellent.

This is not a shortfall, but please have some vegetarian options in breakfast also ! Thanks !!!

This hotel combines the features of a very nice hotel and a traditional motor hotel. I loved the ice machine in the hallway. We also had a refrigerator in our room, which was a premium twin room. There is parking adjacent, and although we didn't have a car on this trip, I noted it for future reference. The elevators are spacious and work quickly as the hotel only has 4 floors and a rooftop. The breakfast was exceptional. Freshly cooked scrambled eggs and a meat option, being cooked right in front of you. Delicious coffee and juice with toast, cereal, yogurt and fruit. The entrance to the subway was only two blocks from the hotel. One stop on the E train takes you to mid-town Manhattan (53rd and Lexington). Another stop to 5th Avenue and the next stop is 7th Avenue, etc.

Our a/c worked well, but it was too loud to keep on overnight as when it kicked in, it was quite loud. We were able to stay fairly comfortable with just the fan on at night.

Room was very neat and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom included a nice roomy shower with soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. Towels were good. Toilet paper was super thin. Front desk and kitchen staff were very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was not as good as typical Hampton Inn or equivalent. Scrambled eggs were too dry and the sausage was totally overcooked and salty. Other options were available, including apples, bananas, oatmeal, bagels, breads, etc. Coffee was good.

The location was really good with a Manhattan view, in the vicinity of 3 different subway lines and a basic supermarket/deli. The hotel is small and remains peaceful. The neighbourhood in general was nice as well, a short walk to Gantry Plaza State Park and Hunter's Point South Park. It was quiet in the hotel, however, our room was facing the Queensboro bridge which generates a lot of noise 24/7, but the view was awesome. We also enjoyed the rooftop. It was surprisingly clean in the rooms and the daily cleaning did a great job.

The breakfast was basic and monotonous and basic, but fresh. The staff was helpful when approached directly, but seemed completely uninterested in anyone passing by the reception or in the lobby, it seemed they did not notice what was going on.

- really good location: it's in Queens but you're only a few stops from any of the major attractions in Manhattan. Subway station just down the street. It's a relatively quiet neighborhood with not much nearby except a Target but that was fine for us. - helpful staff but not overly friendly but we get it, it's NYC. - breakfast was fine for us. No complaints. Don't expect a huge variety. Just simple toast, eggs, pancakes, bacon, and coffee. Enough to start the day. - our room was basic with some parts looking old and worn, but decently sized with a comfortable bed. It was cleaned daily so overall no complaints. - rooftop had a nice view of the city. Would be nicer in the summer.

Not much.

If you're looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay close to Manhattan, this hotel is a great choice. Located just 200 meters from the subway station (E and M lines), it's incredibly easy to reach the heart of New York City without any hassle or transfers. The cleanliness is outstanding – rooms are cleaned daily, and all common areas are well-maintained and fresh. The staff is friendly and very helpful, always ready to offer advice or assist with anything you might need during your stay. A real highlight is the rooftop terrace, open 24/7 – the night views of the city skyline are truly breathtaking and make for a perfect spot to unwind after a busy day. The breakfasts are classic American-style, with a full spread that includes scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, maple syrup, and fresh fruit – a great start to the day. In summary: excellent location, clean and comfortable rooms, welcoming atmosphere, and an impressive terrace make this hotel a fantastic place to stay while exploring New York City.

Great smallish hotel (only 4 floors) in Long Island city, Queens. 2 minute walk to Court Sq 23rd St subway station which is one stop from Manhattan. Easy transfer from JFK using the AirTrain and E line subway. Wonderful views from the rooftop terrace and a 10 minute walk to the East river and Vernon blvd where there are plenty of places to eat and drink. The hotel is clean and has everything you need for a city break which includes breakfast. Recommended

I chose this hotel primarily for its attractive price and incredibly convenient location — the subway entrance was right across the street. The subway line nearby was broad and practical, making it easy to get anywhere in the city. It was just three stops to Times Square! Upon check-in, I was immediately impressed by the exceptional cleanliness of the hotel. The entire facility — from the lobby to the room — was spotless, and daily housekeeping was flawless throughout our stay. The water pressure and temperature in the shower were excellent. The cold water was truly cold, and the hot water was impressively hot — almost too hot if turned to the max!
