I have a 100pd trained GSD . It’s hard to find a hotel that excepts big dogs. They were very welcoming, and the hotel it’s self was comfortable for him with plenty of space to roam around. There is also a dog park just a min walk down the street. The room was very clean and no smells of previous visitors with dogs. The carpeting and furniture looked brand new.

The close the kitchen by 8Pm on Sundays. We arrived late so we had dinner elsewhere. Plenty of restaurants just a 10 min drive away.

Great location. convenient to our favorite catskills restaurant (Peekamoose Inn) and other towns we like to visit. Breakfast-there were homemade bagels - made by one of the owners. That definitely exceeded my expectations for breakfast. Oh and there's a decently sized pool--had a nice swim the morning we checked out. Great also for dog lovers but you can choose to stay in the main building, which does not allow pets. Great to stay if you are dropping your camper off at Frost Valley YMCA-convenient to there and to Slide Mountain if you like hiking.

This isn't a reflection on the inn and it may not bother others but i wouldn't stay in a room above the tavern on a Saturday night--noisy.

Went for a ski weekend with the family. The Inn is close to several ski resorts, a perfect location in that regards. The rooms were just what we needed and recently redone. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Shout out to James for being so wonderful and going above and beyond. 100% would recommend. Go for the bagels!

The only complaint, at no fault to the Inn, is there was someone who was clearly disregarding the no smoking policy and it could be smelt in the hallways. On the second night when we returned after skiing the smoke smell was faint in the the hallway. On our departure we notified the Inn of the issue and they were extremely apologetic.

We’ve been coming to CSI for years and have always enjoyed our stay. They offer nice rooms in the chalet with a well equipped kitchenette and in the main guest house. The people we meet are always very friendly and good times are had at the bar to unwind at the end of a long day. I’ve also noticed after new management that there have been many updates to the rooms. Breakfast is now also included in your stay which is a nice addition.

Unfortunately due to COVID the dinner menu needed to be cut back. But they still offer yummy apps and simple bar food. Hopefully, in time, they can once again offer a full menu. But there are many great places in the area to get a bite to eat.

The continental breakfast was nice, and they had freshly made bagels. Very handy for a family and kids. Staff were very helpful, and would set bonfires in the evening upon request for the kids to roast marshmallows. The game room was very handy to keep the kids entertained. Wasn't expecting kitchen facilities in our room, very handy and spacious.

Noise from adjacent rooms could be annoying at times.

If you come on the weekend, you get the freshest home-made bagels you have ever eaten for breakfast! In addition, the grounds are beautiful - grand lawn and beautiful flowers. The place invites you to be outdoors. there are lots of chairs and picnic tables. Also, there are rooms on the floor where you can be outside your room to play games or watch TV. This is helpful for families.

I couldn't get the A/C unit to work. The room was a little stuffy in the morning.

Stayed here while skiing with my sons at Windham and Hunter. Property is in great location close to skiing and many hiking trails. Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and courteous and went out of their way to ensure guests were well taken care of and had everything they needed (James and Christina are awesome and really go above and beyond). Continental breakfast served daily at 8AM; lots of good items to choose from. We hope to return in the summer months!

Continental breakfast but excellent bagels both Saturday & Sunday. Staff member James was very accommodating as I needed to ice my knee.. very helpful. On Sunday we found out that he actually makes the bagels from scratch proofs them and boils and bakes them at 4:30 in the morning. Very friendly atmosphere

Very close to skiing. Staff was super, super friendly. There was a snowstorm during our stay - was snowing hard even at 6AM and when we left around 10ish, there was already a pathway cleared for us to leave for the mountains. We had two rooms & it was nice to have the same electronic key for both.

Would be great to have two more chairs in the room (there were only two & we were four) - but not enough reason for us not to stay again in the future.

Comfortable beds! Nice clean sheets and comfy all around. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bar was nice and the fresh homemade fries were spectacular!

Room 7 needs to have the multi plug (electrical socket) replaced as it barely works and loose electrical connections can damage electronics or even cause a spark. (Not a complaint)
