Clean! Even the hotel doesn’t have own restaurant! There is plenty of restaurants around love that! Simple and clean.

I wish there was cover space for hanging clothes

The people at the front desk are really kind and open to help you. The location which is close to the subway, cold and hot water, a comfortable bed. A police station really close to the hotel.

The room cleaning service wasn't very friendly. We asked for refills of shampoo in the bathroom bottles, but they didn't give us one. They're supposed to refill them daily. Although the room and bathroom were generally clean, there were still a few cockroaches. We usually left early and came back very tired. The place has everything you need for a shower, a night's sleep, storing your bags and shopping. The best value for the price vs the closest location to Manhattan. If you find something for less, it's because the place will have something bad. I did some thorough research, and it's the best place vs Manhattan distance and another attractions in NY.

This is an excellent hotel. Safe, friendly, good facilities, and in a great area. The reception staff are exceptionally helpful and make you feel very welcome. My room on the 6th floor was quiet with stunning views of Manhattan, including at sunset. Reliable Wi-Fi, good shower, comfortable bed. Iron and ironing board provided on request. The room was equipped with a fridge (quiet), microwave, kettle, and mugs, so self-catering from the nearby grocery shops was a good option. I also highly recommend the shrimp tajine at Sabry's Seafood restaurant and the Middle Eastern patisserie at Al-Sham, both delicious and opposite the hotel. Very convenient travel to and from Manhattan. Two minutes walk to catch the frequent bus M60-SBS to West Side or ten minutes walk to Astoria Boulevard station for the subway to Midtown. I would very happily stay at this hotel again: an excellent find.

The staff was amazing, really open and happy to help you and assist you to everything you needed all the time! Warm , professional, nice. The room was very clean ( every day they were coming to clean it ) and the size was ok to stay 4 people,also quite during the night. Also very close to stores and restaurants. I would recommend to others for sure

Some problems with the TV but the staff try to assist us ! Also it would be easier for us to have 3 separate beds than 2 twin beds for 3 people.

All and everything. Staff is amazing, location is superb, the atmosphere is wow, considered the most safe place in NYC, the public and private transport is from everywhere to everywhere and HALAL food is the main pattern there even for American restaurants. Especially if you are muslim or Arabic nationality, all what you need is to stay and enjoy.

It is not a big problem but if they restructured the windows to be opened it will be an added benefit to the guests. Sometimes the outside temperature is better than using the A/C.

This is a very nice, clean place in a great location. The rooms are on the smaller side, but had everything we needed. We had a stunning view of the bridge and skyline out our window. We were able to get covered/enclosed parking for $20 a night at this hotel, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. It doesn't have the "frills" that some other places boast (like a free breakfast), but if you want a convenient, clean, and friendly place in a great location for a good value, I'd definitely recommend it.

No plug close to water boiler so had to transfer the boiler to the floor close to outlet near side of bed

Clean linens, room and toilet. Bed was very comfortable. I like that there’s free coffee, creamer and sugar for my morning coffee! The shower is great ! The place is close to public transport, stores and restaurants. Just one bus to La Guardia Airport! We just walked a few blocks to the subway! Place is safe. Didnt see any homeless guys around.

I love staying here its my number one place to stay all the staff very friendly and helpful the place is clean the bed sleep confortable.The bus is right across the street I feel the restaurants is open more at night their is a dunkin donut few feet away the rooms is quiet with black out curtains plus u can leave ur luggage even if u check out have ur breakfast and come back.

The hotel was clean and in a very culturally diverse neighborhood. There are tons of middle-eastern restaurants and stores right outside the doors of the hotel. My wife and lived in Korea for a time and felt really at home and safe walking on these streets. This was also one of the few hotels that had on-site parking available; it’s a small lot, but very convenient if you call ahead to reserve a spot. We were able to park our car upon arrival and not move again unless we left NYC. We used public transportation the entire time we visited because it was only a short, 7-minute walk to a subway station.

The only thing worth mentioning was that the AC went out for a short while, but the staff notified us and it was fixed later that day. Nothing else was wrong.

Property is well maintained and clean. The bed was comfortable, and, from my room, I had a partial view of the city. Bathroom was clean and well-stocked with amenities. The public area are also well maintained.

It is in a pretty rough neighborhood. On the morning I left, at around 4:00 am, there were a lot of unsavory-looking characters hanging about. Maybe some illegal activities going on. That was my impression, anyway. During the daytime hours, the neighborhood seemed safe
