Close to the airport and they have shuttle to get you there.

It was quite a walk to the subway.

Once you enter, the smell will entice you. The hotel smells good! Staff are very nice and accommodating. The room is clean and spacious. Breakfast is great. Staff always refills whatever is almost gone. It's very nice that there is a shuttle for pick up and drop off-easy to arrange too!

There is nothing to go around the area if you are just walking. Close to places if you are driving or commuting.

Clean and comfortable, great bed, polite staff

I stayed in a room on the backside of the hotel and the traffic on the road outside was very loud all night long. Also, there were rude guests in a room near mine who laughed and yelled and slammed doors until past 2:00 am. I called the receptionist who sent up security but nothing changed.

Great location for us. The parking was great. The facility was as clean as you could possibly get. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The walk-in shower in the room was fantastic! We appreciated the counter space in the bathroom. The room was a little small. But, the breakfast was very good. We really enjoyed this Fairfield Inn and will be back.

Only thing we wished was better was the size of the room. It was small.

The room we had was very clean as well as the bathroom. Shower pressure was very good. Bed was very comfortable sleeping on. The staff were brilliant with us. Shout out to them both who checked us in on 16th Sept in the afternoon. I couldn't remember there names (sorry 🙁) Breakfast was included in our stay and was very nice. We had our cases stored away as it was a late evening flight so the looked after them for us. Even got a shuttle to La Guardia airport when we came back.

Cable was down during our stay. But not a big issue

The lady who checked us in…name starts with an ‘A’, was great! She was welcoming and accommodating. She also gave great recommendations for food when we came in for the night. Breakfast was good, the waffles were the best we’ve had at any hotel!

I didn’t realize it was directly across from a highway and the hotel isn’t soundproof, so it was a bit noisy. It was also a little too far from the city which made us incur some unexpected transportation fees via Uber.

The room was very clean but the should develop a habit of replenishing and checking everything everyday they had no shower gel in the bathroom and the chicken pie in the fridge had gone bad to a point where you didn’t have to see it or taste it to know I informed front desk and they came and removed them. At that point I didn’t want to eat anything there

Room was clean and comfortable and updated. Breakfast was great. Location was very good with walking distance to subway and bus and stainway st is at walking distance and full of great and reasonable dining options. Free shuttle service is an added attraction. Only bad point we experienced was the Manager (african american) on Feb 17 morning who had no curtesy at all and had totally unwelcome attitude towards guest. We requested a room change from basement to upper level which other staff as well as supervisor happily agreed and were moving us but this manager came and stopped the process explaining (in contradiction to rest of his staff and supervisor) that no rooms are vacant, and he will try his best. It was so obvious that he meant 'shut up and leave'. We never got an upper level room in our 6 days stay :(

The room was very warm, spotlessly clean and there was always hot water. The bed was huge and super comfortable, just what we needed after a very tiring day. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Also the location was excellent, 10 minutes from the metro station.

The variety at breakfast was disappointing. Few things, sometimes there was no bread at all. Eggs were available twice a week. Also cheese and cold meats were not available. The biggest shock was that all this was served on paper and plastic plates and glasses, while on the planet there is a struggle to reduce the use of these. Despite this, the few things that existed were neat, warm and tasty. Also the hotel does not have good soundproofing at all.

Cleanliness of the newly renovated hotel was foremost. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel was amazingly close to Southwest Airlines’s part of the LGA terminals. Good connections with the rest of Queens and Manhattan by Lyft is a plus. Also 16-min. walk to the N and W train is a plus when it is not raining. FDNY and NYPD are close.

Elevator was a little slow, but no real problems.
