We stayed at this budget hotel for 5 nights: - 10mins walk to subway which takes you to Manhattan in 15-20 mins (total ~30mins each way) - Lots of restaurants close by - Cheaper than other motels/hotels in the area - Room was large; bed/pillow were comfy - AC included - Smooth checkin, and checkout is at 12pm (later than most places here)

- No shower gel or soap - Towels were old but usable - Leaky toilet (which eventually stops in an hour)

The hotel is a short walk from a well-connected subway station. It was very easy to get from La Guardia airport to the hotel, and from the hotel into Manhattan. The local neighbourhood is friendly and feels very safe. The hotel was clean and the room had all advertised amenities. I couldn't understand what some of the negative reviews on Booking.com were talking about. I look forward to staying here again.

We had a king bedroom. The room was clean and well kept and the bed was comfortable. There was a good amount of space to put all of our bags. I liked that there was a little bit of breakfast. It was very basic with cereal, milk, toast, and jam, but it kept us from having to go buy breakfast somewhere else. We took the 7 train into the city a few times and also the Q70 bus to Laguardia airport. We discovered the Woodside station, which was a short walk from the hotel and worked perfectly for our needs. Just be aware that you have to walk up a small hill right when you leave the hotel. We also used rideshare and had no issues with drivers finding us or picking us up and dropping us off. When we were checking out, there was a couple trying to check in who seemed suspicious. The front desk worker would not give in to their requests about not having identification or not having the appropriate funds to pay for their room. He stood his ground and told them no.

There was only one elevator on the property so it might take a minute for an elevator to get to your floor in the direction you are wanting to go.

Cleanliness, hospitality and staff behaviour.

All locks from inside the rooms were either broken or removed purposely. House keeping people used to enter by opening the doors from outside all on a sudden, which is against the privacy. Once an African American male entered my (I am a female) room all along near to the window, while I was lying down my bed for relaxing. And then left by saying sorry. How come he was able to enter? When I complained to the reception, they checked camera and nothing was visible. I was told it might be a spiritI. I request authorities to repair back the inside locks of the rooms.

Great location. Near to everything, including public transport and restaurants. LaGuardia is actually few minutes away and easy to catch a flight at the airport if that is your mode of transport. Gas station is just across the hotel, if you are driving. I have always stayed here and love the staff professionalism and great customer services. Most of all, it is affordable and compare to hotels around of same category, the price is just about right. Rooms I stayed are clean, if any issues, hotel staff will immediately addressed it. Overall, great place to stay!

The hotel room was clean, quiet, comfortable and exceeded our expectations based on some of the reviews. The bathroom had soap, shampoo (albeit very small containers) and rather thin towels but clean. The foyer was plain but the desk clerk was pleasant and helpful. There is free parking but only about 8 spaces, meaning it's first come, first serve. But we had no problems finding a spot after leaving and returning in the evening. The street looked a little dicey at first but the neighborhood seemed safe once we settled in.

Location is ideal - flew into JFK and flew out of La Guardia, so this hotel placed me perfectly for that. Additionally, you're a 10 minute walk from the train/subway taking you straight into Manhatten. You have all you need - shower, bath (needed with all the steps you'll do), comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff, aircon/heating unit, WiFi, TV etc. In terms of cleanliness, you get what you pay for - the place is clearly cleaned before your stay but it's a little run down. Not an issue though.

A little rough around the edges, so that's the only thing that could be improved (things like the shower rail and wardrobe could do with being replaced), but not a concern. There were also a couple of dirt marks on the ceiling/walls, but the room itself was clean and freshly chanhed.

the room was exactly as in the photos.it was big enough. and even though the hotel is near a busy intersection, the room is quiet it was clean and tidy every day. new towels every day. only minor defects in the room that can be removed in 1 day. the staff at the reception are friendly and immediately willing to solve any problem. bus stop directly in front of the hotel. or subway stop within 10 minutes from the hotel. line 7 goes to Manhattan.15 minutes by metro and you are in the center. really a very good ratio of quality and price. I will be very happy to use this hotel in the future
