Front desk staff was great, lovely location, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage.

I think that it would be a nice addition for the hotel to have a small area to sell staple items like pain meds, toiletries, and the like. The surrounding area does not have a drugstore that is within walkable distance and the gas station nearby does not have much as far as basic supplies either. I also wish there was a bottle filler/water fountain to refill our bottles. But, again, we LOVED our stay. These are just suggestions for the fute.

Location for our needs was great. Brunch on Sunday morning was delicious but wait staff was small and slow. Service below average. Rooms were fine. Old and classic. Romantic, but certainly antiquated with a phone that didn't work and lamps / lights that didn't all work.

The lady at the reception was extremely nice and helpful, let me check in at 10:30AM. The room was large and comfortable. The surrounding is quiet.

The hotel does not serve breakfast, and there is no nearby grocery store. The streets to the university are not lit during night and do not have sidewalks, which is a problem when walking back from the university after sunset.

the inn is lovely, quaint. I was thrilled to stay there rather than a chain hotel. the grounds are pleasant, near the water and a little shopping area. very clean and hospitable.

well, it is off-season which is likely why it was so economical, but it felt a bit abandoned. I would have loved there to have been coffee available at reception in the morning. only a little machine in the room, so you can make coffee, but only have powder creamer. The little “village” mall was two steps away though, so that was just a petty preference on my part.

Location: Across the street from a neat shopping plaza of sorts --- shops, restaurants, coffee shops, a superb tea service place (...though they all close early...), and the best of all, the harbor and the beach. Because it's not exactly a tourist trap, the lovely neighborhood is very quite, great for a relaxing getaway. (At least it was in early March when it was still cold). The locals are very amiable, friendly folks. Staff: Absolutely courteous, knowledgable and personable.

What we did not like: The in-house bar / restaurant was closed when we stayed there.

The facilities and location were beautiful. There was a problem with the cable and we were not able to get TV service during our stay, but that was the only negative.

Lack of TV service. Normally that wouldn't have bothered me but there were events I wanted to watch live and wasn't able to.

The central placement right at the harbor and across from the commons filled with shopping food entertainment music and more. Local parks and nearby towns offer even more amenities and site seeing!

I did not realize when booking that there are no continental breakfasts or commissary amenities such as waters or snacks at the hotel front desk. lack or a room fridge or ice. The tv services were a little spotty and the room air conditioner had to be services to function. Mostly addressed by the staff in a timely manner!

me and my husband liked the area. We were able to take a walk through the town in the evening. It was very personable cute, and we liked that. You can see the weddings on the property from our room.

The only thing that I could say that we didn’t really like was it was hot and the air conditioner only blew out hot air and wasn’t able to blow out cold air so we open the window, but there wasn’t a screen. But it still worked out fine.

The are was beautiful and clean and had a lot of things to see and places to eat.

Someone around our room kept smoking so the smell would get into the room constantly. Would've liked to have a small fridge/microwave in the room.

The place was gorgeous, and the staff went above and beyond in accommodating our needs. Well-appointed room and bathroom.

I was disappointed that there was no fridge in the room and that you need to bring your ice bucket to the front desk to get ice. There was a wedding in the hotel and it was very busy and I didn't want to bother the front desk for ice.
