I like the convenience and location. It was last minute booking and everything was ready. The price was great considering a regular cheap motel was asking more for a not so good looking place.

At check in the guy at the counter had a little attitude. When he said there will be a $100 hold on my card I asked him to let me transfer funds before he swipes. He snapped back you can do that while you wait as he puts my license info into his computer. Didn’t make any sense.

Reasonable price. Good location relative to my destination.

Facilities were clean, but were old and worn. Outside access doors were rusty and stuck. Long walk to room. No on-site restaurant to get a meal. Three staff behind counter took 18 minutes to start my check-in with just two prior parties before me.

the property is in desperate need of updating. no microwave in the room. several amateur ceiling and wall patches that were globbed on and painted over. overall the facilities look run down. hallways are dark. carpeting is full and old.

for an older facility (judging from the hallways and carpeting), the room was very comfortable and clean

carpeting in hallways seemed old, not kept up. vending machines were mostly empty, except for soda machines

My stay was peaceful and restful. The rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. I loved the mini fridge and microwave! They were a life saver for ordering out! Close enough to the fire island ferries that I could Uber back and forth for day tripping.

I was sad that the pool was not open. It seems like no hotels are updating their websites these days. Every time after Covid lockdown that I check in to a hotel, many of the services and bonuses you expected are not there at check in. No pool, no breakfast, no room service. Without a car it’s a tough location. Would have been great to have shuttle service to the beach ferries!
