The room was updated, clean, no carpet. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels or toast, 2 juices, 3 cereals plus packaged oatmeal, hot drinks. Walmart, large grocery store, Whole Foods, restaurants and some shopping are nearby. Convenient access. Good parking. Nice staff. Great price. We would stay here again. But ask about ongoing remodeling if that is an issue for you.

On July 4 2025, renovation at this hotel continues. Just be aware of that. The room was nice and comfortable. Work in the entryway, halls, elevator continues. The pool is still closed. Work is supposed to end this month, but major projects can continue longer than expected.

Jonathan at reception was WONDERFUL! He was warm, professional, knowledgeable about the area and radiant. The property was immaculately kept, rooms were large and spotless. Linens fresh, bed comfortable and great quality. Pool area was lovely, lobby pristine and was being mopped as I went up to my room. Every staff member I passed, and there were several, were friendly, smiling and welcoming. Well done La Quinta, Cary! I have stayed in 4 hotels in this trip alone, and this is my best experience in YEARS of frequent travel. I will make this my regular halfway stop when I go to the Western NC Mountains because I liked it so much. Delighted to share this flawless experience!

Housekeeping never came to clean my room despite multiple requests.

Pet friendly with good access to dog walk areas. The dryer in laundry room was not functioning correctly. Excellent access to snacks and drinks at reasonable prices. A lot of construction, painting, roofing going on and the crews were very loud and boisterous at night in parking lot. Pool was not in service which was disappointing. Construction crews smoking pot outside my window in parking lot near parking. It just stunk when I parked to go in. They stayed out there until 1 a.m. Also, construction people used laundry and just let clothes sit for hours.i finally took clothes out of washer and found nails, screws, small tools in washer

Construction crew guests were loud in parking lot until 1 a.m. they also smoked pot and stunk up the breezeway and hall entrance. They were not respectful of laundry facility and use.

Room was spacious and clean. Lots of outlets, plus alarm clock with USB outlets by the beds. No issues with bathroom. Towels were fluffy, Dove soap and shampoo stocked. Cable TV was nice, plus the TV itself has Netflix and Youtube that you can log in to; TV cleared out log-in info every day at around noon so didn't have to worry about logging out when leaving. Location is close to the freeway, a WakeMed hospital, and is located behind strip mall that has a Walmart and a full grocery store. Area felt safe, though streets and sidewalks beyond the property aren't well-lit at night.

Room cleaned about every other day or so. Not a big deal since my party was pretty clean, but that was my experience. Another nitpick is that breakfast was the same everyday (stayed 6 nights) and was pretty plain (eggs, sausage patties, waffles, etc), but the grocery store is next door for extra variety.

The best thing I can say about this location is that they had wonderful front desk staff. Just really sweet people. I was in Cary for a medical procedure. On checkout day I had to get extra fluids and medications in the morning from the medical office. I returned very groggy and they were so sweet to give us an extra hour for checkout before we had to leave for the airport. It was everything! And if I’m ever in Cary again, I’ll be staying there!

The carpets and common areas could definitely use some upgrading and there are stains everywhere. But the rooms were great and the common areas are decorated nicely enough to detract from the floors.

The property was in the process of renovation. The renovated rooms are modern and comfortable. The staff are wonderful & helpful.

We were there for a week. There was only 1 washer & 1 dryer available for all guests. Due to renovations we never got cleaning service, but the front desk gladly provided fresh towels.

Staff is great. Location is secluded. Breakfast was decent. clean and smoke free facility.

Although the place was clean, decent, and functional. Everything was just old.. the faucets, moderately damaged roof, odor from carpet due to closed space, bed/mattress was super squeaky and uneven.. please expect more from a 3-star hotel.
