We enjoyed the steam locomotive train through the canyon, the history Museum, the village, the cultural dance in the historic area of drama dr. We enjoyed Bryson city. The restaurants we chose were top notch, food and service. Coming from New Mexico and Phoenix we were not strangers to native American culture. We were delighted to meet and explore the Cherokee Nation. Friendly, smiling, welcoming, and inviting people. A brief stop at the casino for fun and food was just a small part of our adventure. We plan to stay at this hotel at our next visit.
Remove these high step in tubs. These were slippery with shower soap. The tile floor was slippery also when climbing out of the high wall tub. Replace with modern walk in shower. No one takes a bath on vacation. Add two sinks in the bath vanity.

The gentleman at the front desk immediately greeted me as I walked in. He had my reservation, however, he had not yet been made aware of our special requests as outlined on booking. I explained to him that my husband is disabled and he went up & beyond in order to accommodate us. He even had me go to the room to check it out first to see if it would work for us. Unfortunately, my husband preferred a room on the 1st floor where he didn't need to enter through the lobby, and that nice gentleman moved us again, and was as pleasant as could be about it. He even told me if we needed one, he could provide a shower chair for my husband to use. He really went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, and we so appreciated that. Hotel also has 24-hour desk service and coffee always available. Complimentary Continental Breakfast served 7am-10am. Room had a microwave and refrigerator. Hotel was within walking distance to the casino. There are several fast food places, a Food Lion Supermarket, a Waffle House, and souvenir shops all within a mile.
There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

The pool was great, super clean and clear water. The room was clean, the AC worked great on the hot days. Hotel is in a good location. AJ at the front desk was super helpful.
We sleep on a water bed at home so nothing sleeps softer than that. So even though it was good beds if it had a pillow topper or foam topper it would make it softer. But we would still book here again because everything about the hotel was great. Including the maids did an excellent job cleaning our room each day and keeping our towels supplied. I even left a tip for the maids.

Staff was super helpful and friendly. Checked in a day earlier because of change in schedule and they were able to accommodate me. The beds were made, trash removed and counters wiped down every time we came back to the room so that was a nice surprise. Guests were all very courteous, no rowdy crowds and there was plenty of rest had. There was a simple but nice breakfast spread with options most people could pick from at least one to start their day. It is right across the casino and they have a shuttle for guests that can take you there. I didn't have time to explore the casino since we were only at the convention center there but the staff did say there are also family friendly activities. I can't wait to come back for sure!
Everything was great, no negatives.

This hotel is in a very good location and it’s a good value compared to some others. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable and quite large. We stayed in the adjacent building next to the main building so I can’t comment on the main building rooms. We would definitely stay here again.
What I really would have liked to seen was a better breakfast because I’m a breakfast eater. They advertised a continental breakfast and that’s exactly what they served. I’m not saying that there was anything wrong with it but breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. We found a very good breakfast restaurant called Granny’s that was within a mile and drove there each morning of our stay. If you’re going to Cherokee then go to Granny’s buffet for breakfast, and dinner. If you like country cooking then you won’t be disappointed.

The plumbing and bathroom fixtures were top notch. The walls were so thick, they were practically sound proof. The beds were luxurious and more comfortable than any I've ever slept in. The coffee maker was very modern and the room coffee was delicious. The intercontinental breakfast was so amazing. Eggs, sausage and bacon. I think they even had elk on the breakfast buffet. Such an amazing value.
They only offered a shuttle to the casino once per hour, and unfortunately they stopped at 1am.

Room was very clean, probably the cleanest hotel room I've stayed in for a long time. It was comfortable: it came with clean and soft towels, soap and shampoo, the air conditioning worked amazing, and the bed was pleasant to sleep in. The property stayed quiet, which is rare for a hotel these days.
The television had few channels that worked, so viewing was limited. People smoked right outside the front door nearly constantly, so smoke drifted inside to the lobby and lingered at the front door area. The continental breakfast could use some love, it was a little underwhelming.

room was quiet and comfortable. the late checkout was great (noon). super convenient if you want to go to Harrah's casino or shop around. staff was very nice. the bathroom and shower was very clean.
Not really something the hotel did wrong, but I was looking forward to a long soak in the tub and my room only had a shower. The shower stall was large and very clean, but i would have requested a different room had I known I was getting a shower stall. It didn't take away from my positive experience though.

Great location close by Harrah's Casino for our trip. Hotel was clean, bed comfortable and room eminities including large walk in tile shower. We would stay here again. Price was awesome!
small pool and GPS directions are WRONG and will take you to a vacant lot! They should include this warning on website because they are aware of it. Finally had to call hotel to get directions. Whn arriving in Cherokee via 441at T in road at light turn left instead of right as GPS tells you and you ll see hotel on left diagional from Harrah's casino.

The property was beautiful although I was there so briefly I had no opportunity to explore. The rooms were nicely decorated and had everything a tech connected world requires these days i.e. multiple outlets for charging peripherals. I especially liked the piece of art hanging on the left wall when entering the lobby. I was happy to see Smokey The Bear, a figure I remember from my childhood days visiting Cherokee and the Blue Ridge Parkway with my family.
Not enough curb cuts to allow handicapped visitors to get to their rooms without climbing stairs, aging elevator in need of service that trapped us inside the elevator until staff could reset the system.
