I spent the previous night in a motel and paid just a few dollars difference. The first motel was very bare bones. Things the Surry Inn had that the other motel didn't have were a couch, and a table with chairs. The heat/air system was much better. It was a real nice experience. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable and quiet. If we ever plan to go back to this area we will definitely be staying at the Surry Inn. We got a lot more than expected for a very reasonable price.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Traveled with my pet and it was plenty of areas to walk. Great location beside 2 stores and 3 restaurants. The dinner beside the hotel had good food and great prices. Not to far from Mt Airy and Mayberry. The staff was very friendly. It was nice to sit out in the cozebo in the evenings.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

The bed was very comfortable, with cotton sheets and a bedspread. There was an extra blanket in the room, which we used because the air conditioner worked great. The shower was good with plenty of hot water. The room was clean and quiet.

Hair dryer didn’t work in our room and there was a washcloth and soap left behind from the previous guest.

There was no breakfast at this location. The room was nice and spacious. Comfortable beds. For us the biggest drawback was no elevator for the second floor. We travel with lots of gear and it was difficult to haul up everything to the 2nd floor especially due to our age. But the place was nice and quiet.

The room was clean & comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Convenient dining close by after being on the road all day.

Neighbor was loud outside the door. I could hear the TV playing loudly. All noise did stop by 930p so it did not interrupt my stay.

Great location just off the interstate. Clean room. Very comfortable bed. Friendly hosts. Good restaurant across the street. Medium size refrigerator was perfect for our ice packs and keeping our travel beverages cool for the next day.

Only decaf coffee in the room.

No breakfast facilities at all but not a problem for us but would be for some I would guess.

Very clean!

They had the mini fridge turned off, so my frozen things thawed before I realized it! I would have enjoyed taking a bath, but the stopper in the tub didn’t work. The bed was very firm, and my hip bone kept hurting.

Clean, close to good food, gas and the highway . The staff was very helpful and courteous.

Minor misstep concerning booking reaching the inn. But the staff helped get it resolved.
