This was a lovely hotel for an economical price. The facilities were in good shape, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was plentiful. The location was also close to a lot of nearby restaurants that are typical ones you'd find off of an interstate.

The temperature in the room was a little hard to regulate. Several degrees on the digital thermostat seemed to go from too warm to too cool. It took several tries to get the temperature we wanted. But I consider this a relatively minor point, and at least we did have the option of warm, and the option of cool.

Extremely clean. Unique amenities. Great atmosphere. Staff is wonderful. Area is comfy .

I fell out of the shower/tub, onto the floor. Tubs are extremely slippery. You MUST use shower mat. Also, shower head is detachable hose line. When I turned on shower, shower head swivels in any direction due to water pressure. Everywhere except on my body. Had to wrestle with it to keep it in place. Cable TV selection was boring. Despite this, I enjoyed the stay.

The staff was very helpful and friendly: from the front desk to the breakfast staff. Their breakfast is really good better than some other hotel breakfast out there. Always a good variety and always enough of things to eat.

The pillows were all new but boy they were a bit big :) front desk was wonderful trying to help. I think providing a variety of options might be better as everyone has different needs when it comes to pillows.

Clean. Comfortable. Quiet. In town for a wedding for a couple nights. Originally booked a king, but after thinking how my husband and I dont sleep well away, I asked if they had a room with 2 queens available. The ladies at the front desk went out of their way to change it. I told them it really wasn't that big of a deal. 10 min later we had 2 beds. The room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again. It was a busy weekend and never heard a peep outside the room.

The TP could use and upgrade and the lighting in the room was awkward at times.

Everything was perfect. Except when we entered our room , 102, it had an odor. It is hard to define but it could be mildew or mold. Stale kind of scent. HAMPTON INN is our go to place. Because of this our visit was good but not great.

Although the room was at the far end of the building, it was easily accessible to our vehicle through the back door. The pool was clean and comfortable. The room was clean.

The mattress is always firm in most hotels…. I sold them for 20 years. Firm is great if you weigh over 250 lbs or have back problems!

We had to be in this particular area for a function. The Hampton Inn met our needs. Check-in was quick, and the desk workers were friendly and efficient. The room was extremely clean, had lots of towels, with attached shampoo, conditioner, and lotion dispensers. The beds were comfortable with four pillows each. My only complaint was the air conditioner. It was the old type that cycles off and on and is very disturbing. That is my only complaint. There were many restaurants in the area, and I would recommend this hotel to any travelers to Clayton, NC.

My wife and I were on a business trip. The Hampton Inn was a recommended stay for us and we were not disappointed. The facilities, staff and cleanliness were all exceptional. The morning buffet was very good but perhaps the menu was a bit limited. We highly recommend the Hampton Inn for your business or leisure travel needs.

Location is great. Complimentary breakfast was nice. Staff was helpful.

Pet fee (I know that’s not specific to this property). Pet “rules” provided at check-in. Should be made aware of that before arrival. Everything turned out just fine in the end.
