My first impression about the cabin was very positive. Very clean, all necessaries household items are available. The porch view is really unique and the sound of the water flowing through the creek is like music for ours ears, bringing peace. Fortunately there’s no wifi signal, which in my opinion, made me to connect much deeply with this amazing natural environment. And to make this place much more special, Alice and Doug share their very nice and friendly chatting if you like(I liked it very much).

The location was wonderful and so relaxing. It was remote enough to feel like you were away from it all, and yet, you were only a short and beautiful drive away from town. The creek was by far our favorite part...watching it and listening to it every morning when we woke up and every night before bed. 5 nights and we truly wished we could have stayed longer! Alice and Doug were very nice and extremely accommodating. They thought of everything...including books to read, games to play, and brochures on must visit places!

I cannot think of one thing that we would have changed.

Location was well above what I Expected. Definitely a place that I would like to visit again. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home. The room had all the amenities that one would need, to include a kitchenette with microwave which allows you to cook any kind of meals at the end of your day. They also have gas barbecue area, where you can cook those perfect steaks at the end of your long day of siteseeing. If you’re looking for a location that’s off the beaten path, and want to experience the outdoors firsthand every morning with your coffee... This is definitely the place. It is also centrally located to where you can reach every major scenic route and location within a 40 mile radius.

Wifi would have bee nice. I only mention it because it would have made it easier to communicate/ update with family and friends back home. They do provide a phone in the room that allows free long distance calls. But wifi would had been so much better; which would allow to upload and send our daily pictures/ Experience with family and friends. Wifi is not a deal breaker!!! We just would stop at the local McDonald’s... to do our last minute photo uploads in text messages prior to going back to the cabin. Don't let the Wifi be a reason not to visit... The trip was wonderful!

This little cabin was very cute, in a really nice location. Our host was very welcoming and gave us many good advices for the rest of our travel in the area…

Mosquitos :’) The kitchen is quite small and minimalist, but it’s also possible to use a grill to cook outside!

Loved it! The host Doug and Alice (and Skippy) were the best. The cabin was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view of the creek. We hauled in our bikes in a covered trailer and didn't have any issues getting there. Can't wait to go back!!!!

No wifi.

Friendly greeting. Helpful information provided. Decorated beautifully with nice touches, even fresh flowers. Rushing stream below property enjoyable to see and hear.

Certainly off the beaten path but excellent directions got us there just fine.

The location was beautiful with leaves changing and the river flowing just below our deck. The room was spacious and comfy with quilts and kitchen amenities. Hosts were kind and friendly. The drive is off the beaten path but well worth the journey.

Everything was perfect in that little nest. We’re glad we found a spot like this to spend some relaxing days! We felt like home :)!! Thank you Alice, Doug & fluffy Skippy!

The road that the GPS took us on to get to the cabin the road was really bad and my car went through a beating

the property was so peaceful, beautiful and the perfect place to just get away! we will definitely be renting from these hosts again as they were wonderful and so accommodating. can’t wait to go back!
