Breakfast was exceptional, with hot food, oatmeal, homemade breads, cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee, etc Front and back views from the 2nd floor were beautiful. Our room was fantastic, decorated nicely, very beachy!

My only suggestion (suggestion only, not a complaint) would be to have fresh coffee available sooner, maybe 7 am, and breakfast a little earlier, maybe 7:30, for us early birds

The staff at the Sunset Inn were nice, helpful and personable. The Bermuda room and the sunset view was exceptional and the short walk to the beach saved on parking issues. My wife appreciated the gluten free breakfast options. The porches are a plus and allow you to enjoy the ocean breezes or sunset views. The Sunset Inn was conveniently located near the Sunset Beach Trading Company when the wind took away our beach umbrella. The Wifi worked well and the dehumidifier in the room helped the room be more comfortable. We definitely plan to return soon!

Staff were super nice! Really liked the location. Bed was really comfortable. Morning continental breakfast was good!

Poor lighting throughout the unit. Shower water pressure was great, but the shower is dingy looking and way too small, also the large step up is tricky to navigate. In room heating unit is very slow to warm up the room. It was really chilly when we arrived, and it took hours to warm up the room even with the use of a small portable heater. The room really needs some soundproofing. Luckily, we only had one night where their was people above our room. We could hear every step they took along with hearing the shower and commode flushing.

The stunning view from my balcony and its location was easy walking distance from every where. The beautiful room was the perfect place to rest my head after a long day.

The breakfast was very good with a hot sausage and egg caserole as well as oatmeal. Fruit and danish were available and delicious. The breakfast area was neat and well-appointed. Service was excellent.

At $250/night the rooms were a little expensive, but were very nicely appointed. Room service for additional linens, etc was excellent. Management staff on-site were very attentive to all requests.

The location was convenient with a few minute walk to the beach, the room was spacious, the breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the screened private balcony complete with Carolina rocking chairs overlooking a lovely marsh area with views of the sunset.

Was good but wanted scrambled eggs and bacon previously on the menu and was looking forward to it each morning but wasn't there.

Inn should have n elevator. Way too many steps with luggage.

The grab and go breakfast was exceptional! The manager was super nice and went out of her way to make sure we had any and everything we wanted. The beach was short walk from the inn. The view of the marsh was very nice, as there was a lot of birds in the sanctuary to watch while we drank our coffee of the mornings. We stayed in the “Bermuda room” and it was very lovely. We will definitely return!!

Coffee was available in our room in the small coffee maker, but the “good” coffee could be made available a tad bit earlier than 7:45 am and breakfast at 8:15. It’s not a deal breaker, by any means, but we get up early.

Clean, well-appointed room. Excellent breakfast, esp the quiche. Fresh fruit and a different fruit bread every day. Lots of options. And the screened-in porch with a view.
