I honestly did not have high expectations for this property because of its age and dated appearance. As the only motel in the Troy area, I took a chance. Happily, my two 2-night stay turned out beautifully. The room was clean and comfortable. The WiFi worked great, too! Most of all, I was impressed by the staff, who cheerfully accommodated my two requests. Also, the location was perfect for my visit to the Uwharrie National Forest. I would happily stay here again.

It was surprisingly fresh. Most hotels/motels at that price point smell old and musty, this room smelled fresh and clean.

It looks like a very shady area. We were concerned about our vehicle and anything in it, but we had no issues.

The motel is located far back from roadway and buffers highway traffic. Lots of free parking and felt safe. Grocery and drug store within walking distance. Owner and staff were very friendly. Definitely stay here again.

Need to drive for food other than snacks. Water pressure was a little low but nice hot water. Drafty door for room especially at bottom. No coffee maker in room.

The guy in the room next to us was loud. He stood outside and talked on his phone all hours of the night.

Location near event attended. Good value. Cable TV. Good size room with small fridge and microwave. Fresh update since last year’s stay.

Breakfast not offered and on my way in i got a call from the property as if my room was about to be given away or canceled if i didn’t show and i was driving over 2hr.

Staff and guests were pleasant and friendly. Great parking and convenient entry. Good water pressure and hot water. Nice amenities with room - small fridge and microwave, and large desk with office chair. Everything was clean and neat. No issues during stay.

Towels offered - no large bath towel or hand towel. Only wash cloths and regular towels. No facial tissues provided.

Extremely friendly and welcoming! Perfect place to stay if you're adventuring in Uwharrie!
