We were looking for an affordable hotel in the area while visiting family. This hotel is one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in! The staff was top notch! They were so friendly and very accommodating. Anything you need, all you have to do is ask. And the indoor hotel pool was fantastic! They have an area out back you can go to relax with tables and chairs and also a firepit with an area to sit and enjoy! We stayed on the lower level, because they do not have an elevator to go to the 2nd floor and I thought it would be easier for my parents. I would recommend this hotel 100%!!

The only thing I didn't like was the bathroom counter is not very big to lay things. And although the staff was very accommodating at getting us ice, it would be nice to have an ice machine available. Other than that, it was great!

The inn was perfect. Welcoming staff and understanding as well, we were in the area for a US KIDS golf tournament that got rained out and the eh allowed us to check in early. At check in we got asked our dinner plans and informed of the restaurant at the property. They made us reservations for the evening and it was a seamless process. The ambiance and aesthetic of the lobby and seating area gave the Gilmore Girls vibe. We hit the pool after checking into our room and it was relaxing and a comfortable temperature. We went down for dinner, as we waited we had a few signature cocktails that were fabulous. For dinner we opted for the crab cake appetizer and French onion soup, entrees we all had prime rib and it was done perfectly. Overall the stay was fantastic and we will make this home away from home when we are in the area on weekend for golf tournaments.

Maybe throw a few more couches or seats in the lobby if possible. Other than that, no complaints at all

Location. The rooms were cozy, clean( provided nice fluffy robes and toiletries. The staff was wonderful and helpful. We received a 10.00 gift certificate for the gift shop which was a nice bonus for booking. There is a pool( usable but under renovations). There was a bar which we did not get a chance to experience they were only open Tues 4pm to 9pm thru sat and we were there sun to Tues morning. We would without doubt stay at the Aurora again. There is alot of history displayed in the hallways and lobby which the lobby had a nice very comfy sitting area to gather and chat. The elderly cleaning lady( cannot recall her name) who seemed to be there from morning until late in the evening was such a sweet and friendly plus very helpful person, my husband and I totally adored her!!!

That the lounge was not open at all during the our stay. It would be nice for the guests if it was open all week even if for just a couple hours. Other than that, no complaints.

Sometimes on one’s travels you accidentally come across a gem of a hotel. The Aurora Inn is one such hotel. It’s charming in its design, decoration and ambience. It has an old world feel and mystique with the best of modern efficiency, courtesy and service. I would recommend it unreservedly to any would-be traveller to Cleveland.

Their restaurant is closed on Sunday nights and we were there on a Sunday. However, there’s a wonderful restaurant called The Cabin literally across the road from the Aurora Inn which made our evening.

We had an excellent stay at The Aurora Inn. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to provide small touches that made our stay friendly; including dog bandanas, treats, and a water bowl in our room for our dogs. We also enjoyed the onsite restaurant. If we ever find ourselves in the area again we will certainly come back.

As always, when traveling with dogs one can assume the pet friendly rooms will have a bit more wear and tear than the regular rooms and this was the case but expected and completely fine!

This was our second time staying here at Aurora Inn during our visit to see our daughter at Hiram College. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. We went down to the bar on Saturday night to have a drink but I guess they closed early. So we were not able to use our vouchers we had. We will be staying here again in a few weeks. It is a great location. Staff was very friendly during our check in.

We had a busy schedule and wanted to unwind when we got back to the hotel, we went done to have a drink and unfortunately the bar closed early, Due to that we were unable to use our vouchers given to us. Hopefully when we go back in a couple weeks the bar will be open.

The property is located at the heart of historic downtown aurora. It is very well maintained and the staff is absolutely helpful and friendly. The rooms are a little tight but very well decorated, clean and comfortable. The hotel has a great pool area and a nice back porch. On the first floor, there is a bar that serves great food. I would recommend to check it out if you like historical places!

I loved the pool, the front and the back porch and how friendly and welcoming the staff is. I felt like home my whole stay!

Nice area. Appreciate the pet wing on first floor with plenty of green space to take them out. Clean room and friendly staff.

The room had a doggy funk smell to it. I realize that it is the pet room but it needs to be sanitized to not smell so doggy. We got our dogs groomed before the trip to NOT stink up the hotel rooms we stayed in lol! Wish the pet fee was not so much. Def the most expensive fee we’ve incurred on our trip.

I was recently in the area and looking for a place to stay. This was only about 10 minutes away and was priced decent.. According to booking I had an upgrade to deluxe room. Deluxe King Room Guests will have a special experience as this double room features a sauna. Offering free toiletries and bathrobes, this double room includes a private bathroom with a bath, a shower and a hairdryer. The double room offers air conditioning, a washing machine, a private entrance, a tea and coffee maker and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The unit offers 1 bed.

I was disappointed when I found out the upgrade wasn't as expected. The room itself didn't have a sauna, or washing machine. It should be stated that these are communal not private as thought.

Attractive historic building, good location. Very good value. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Early morning breakfast options in the area are limited. The hotel does not offer breakfast despite running a restaurant in the evening. Snacks including yogurt and cereal are available. Offering a continental breakfast would enhance the morning experience for guests who don’t want to leave premises.
