Absolutely stellar. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The room stayed at a consistent temperature despite the weather. It had comfortable furnishings, including a desk and a bench where I could lay out my luggage. The bathroom was spacious. I got fresh towels and sheets everyday. The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations, and there was free coffee all day. The staff was friendly and dedicated to keeping the hotel clean. The hotel is near a lot of restaurants. The price is also really good.

The hotel is near train tracks where trains frequently went by. They did not wake me up, but they could be a little annoying. The breakfast area got really crowded, which was annoying on Sunday morning with all the screaming children running around. Honestly, all of these are rather minor. The value makes up for it.

We had a very nice stay. The staff was kind, friendly, and treated us like family. Our room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable! The breakfast was delicious and we really liked that it was somewhat different each day we stayed. The hotel, in general, was also very clean and quiet. Our daughter loved the pool even though the water was cold, and she swam until her little heart was content.

The only problem we had was that the pool was cold, which at checkout was explained that the pool had a possible leak because it was continuing to fill with cold water making it cold and it was being worked on as we were checking out. My husband and I just couldn't handle the cold temperature like our 13-year-old daughter did. We wish the hot tub was still there as in older pictures.

Assistant General Manager Heather Smith saved the day for us on Sunday, June 25th! My husband and I are on a 38 day road trip, stayed 3 nights, and were planning to see our kids/grandkids/great-grandkids for swimming and pizza…but a large group that was also in-house, unfortunately caused issues with the pool (and a broken window!) and it had to be drained, of course, on Sunday! Heather contacted a sister property 2 hotels down the road, Townplace Suites by Marriott, and arranged for us to use the pool at that property. Heather went way above and beyond…and we are extremely grateful for the service she provided! Thank you Heather Smith!!! 😊

Courteous and friendly staff. Always greeted us when we came in. The breakfast buffet was really good. I liked the dining room. It was decorated very pretty for the season. The room was clean and comfortable. Their are other facilities that can be used that made the stay even better. Definitely would stay again.

Friendly staff and good location near the highway and our destination. Easy in and out via a side street that had a traffic signal. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Nice selection of food at breakfast.

I missed the waffle maker (they had a pancake machine). Pool was too warm, almost uncomfortable being in the pool room. Television in the room was not a smart TV (I could not log into my streaming services).

The breakfast lady was amazing! We had To leave before breakfast and she opened it early for us! What a sweetheart! Also, the warm cookies were such a special touch! The staff was SO friendly!

N/A but a hot tub would be a fun touch

Breakfast was outstanding/delicious and the quantity and quality unmatched. We were in the area for a close family member’s funeral. We were calling places and checking online and kind of desperate so glad to find a place and said only 5 some miles from Hamilton. We had planned to stay at the courtyard Marriott downtown Hamilton where we had stayed for another relative’s funeral, but decided the price was outrageous! Even with the HI Express one night was one price the 2nd night unknown unless you booked it and no cancellations so we took the total price offered on Bookings.com. I asked for a handicapped room with hip problem and was told it was 1st come 1st served and nothing available when we checked in. Room was spacious, bed and bedding pristine white. So impressed by bubbly, super friendly little person clerk at front desk-very sweet and helpful. Only negative was a dead cockroach in elevator to side of door that was there at least 2 days.just

Just commented on bug previously. Was also surprised when checking on prices that instead of maybe being rewarded by a discount or guaranteed same price for subsequent nights 2nd night most places higher if they would tell you and then all the fees on top of that and then tax was 12.5.

The beds were very comfortable, all the amenities were open and available. All the areas we were in were clean and well kept.

The staff were not friendly or very helpful. The rooms did not have extra blankets.

I loved the cleanliness and the housekeepers are great to responding to our needs

Sometimes our key cards stopped working and beds were sleepable but not the softest I've felt

The staff was pleasant, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was wonderful! The location was easy to get to.

Only a very few minor cosmetic places in the stairwell could use some paint touch up. But I'm being very picky here.
