There was free parking. It was in a great area of the city. It was well kept and very clean inside and out. The view of the city looking southeast was really nice. We could see the Capitol building in the distance.

Access to back parking lot was awkward. We couldn’t get the room cool enough, even with the thermostat set to 64. We were on the top floor, which wasn’t a bad thing, but we heard this noise almost all night long (more in the early morning) that sounded like the elevator going up and down constantly.

I loved the decor throughout the whole facility, the grounds surrounding it is beautifully maintained. The restaurant has wonderful food and the wait staff are amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable and the view from our balcony was amazing! It was in the perfect location for our sightseeing, easy to get to back and forth.

The hot tub was barely lukewarm and the pool was freezing.

We arrived and met Mike at the front desk to check us in. Terrific experience, offered us an upgrade, and treated us like we were the only guests there. This is how it is supposed to be done, and how it used to be done. Most hotels that we've stayed in for the last few years both mid level price and high end, just do not give off that energy anymore.

Room was excellent !

Buffet was horrible ! No food available at 8:30 am we scraped the left over eggs out of the container then sat down and never had one server come by. Mind you this is a small area. No water no anything. First time in my life I didn’t leave a tip so I put cash on the dresser gif the housekeeper. Go out for breakfast don’t waste your time !

Did not eat breakfast because powdered eggs are not my thing. Coffee is a bit bitter but too many other good things about the hotel to get hung up on that. However, if they ever decide to raise the bar on those 2 items that would be great.

Decor was good, everything was clean

Needed an additional side chair in my room. Headboard reading lamps need to be removed. One was missing, the other was hard to turn off

Everything was comfortable and inviting. The breakfast offerings in the concierge lounge were vast and delicious.

I was told in order to get onto the concierge floor, you needed key access. This was not the case. The entire floor was open to the public/hotel guests, just the lounge was key accessible. The host of the lounge left two hours early and happy hour did not happen. We had driven a long way and were ready to relax and were unable to do so.

Short staff for a busy weekend, with graduations and Mother’s Day, tables weren’t bused to accommodate more guests, had to grab utensils, cups and saucers to get coffee from lobby since refills were not being brought due to staff shortage. Bill was put on table before even setting the table for us.

The atmosphere, ambience, decor was beautiful..love the update, layout of the suite we really liked, loved the Aveda products in the shower, your front desk check people..very sweet. Dressed amazingly. Great sense of dtyle

Had an executive suite booked, but didn't have any available when we checked in, so was offered a regular suite so we could still have a balcony..original booking said their would be robes..I guess not in regular suites? He did give us a breakfast voucher to make up..but im still not sure how I went from an executive suite..that I booked here for $267..and it ended up with a downgrade and was charged more? A total of $310? Alot of doors to outdoor pool area or health spa all locked...pool area clearly had not been picked up in a bit..dirty towels everywhere ..pillows from furniture everywhere...more plugbins around makeup mirror to get ready with

Everything was so clean and felt relaxing. The staff was beyond amazing. They were helpful, kind, extremely welcoming and overall they made the entire experience beyond exceptional.
