It's clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet. This was the second time we have stayed when there was an event at the Cuthbert Amphitheater. It's only about 5 minutes away. There's also a bar and grill (minors welcome) within walking distance.

About 10 minutes after we got settled in, the man who checked us in opened our door. He quickly shut it when he realized his mistake, but that is not okay. It should never happen. Also, the door to our room didn't latch and lock unless we pulled on it (or pushed) pretty hard.

The staff was very friendly. The bed was the most comfortable that I've ever slept in in any hotel, which says a lot.

When we entered our room, there was a very strong smell, probably some room deodorizer or cleaners. Whatever was used was way too strong and left the room reeking of it. This is the reason why I can't give this property a 10 rating that it would otherwise deserve. We left all the windows open when we went out to dinner, but when we returned the smell was still there. We were only at this property one night, otherwise we would have complained about it. If smells like this don't bother you, I would say this is the perfect place to stay.

The room was large, clean, and comfortable. I liked that the bedside lamps had USB chargers and two lighting levels and appreciated the extra pillow and blanket in the closet. The bathroom amenities were nicer than expected (e.g., very soft towels, not the coarse, stiff towels you usually get in a place like this). This motel was very affordable in a good location; we were able to walk to a nice coffee shop and the Lane County Farmer's Market in just a few minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful and processed our check in and check out efficiently.

The desk receptionist was very welcoming, helpful with information about the area, and accommodating with our check-out time. The location was within walking distance of the train station, restaurants, and parks.

There were many homeless people in the area sleeping in tents on the sidewalks. It made me sad that they weren't in warm, private shelters. The temps were low 40s. This had nothing to do with the property where we stayed except that we walked on the sidewalks where people were sleeping a block away and all around the area.

The room was nice and tidy when we arrived. It was on the small side but we were only utilizing it for one night so it worked for us. It was a comfortable place to sleep and we felt safe. There was a bit of train noise in the middle of the night but it didn't keep us up for too long. The TV worked great and kept the younger folks in our group entertained. In the morning we filled up our reusable water bottles with hot water from the coffee & tea station to use on the road trip ahead. Eugene has amazing tap water so why not. We grabbed some of the fruits, pastries, juice and coffee near the front desk. It was the perfect little breakfast to help us get back on the road.

We really don't have many complaints. We got great sleep. We appreciated that they allowed us to bring our little chihuahua mix dog into the room.

Nice place, definitely a cut above most motels I've stayed at. Very friendly staff with quick checkin. Super clean premises and room. Good sized room with very good bed and has both a mini fridge and microwave. Single cup coffee maker too. Very quiet yet close to freeway on ramps. Neighborhood has many good options within walking distance. I went to a pizza brewpub -- The Wheel -- and it was very solid -- both brews and pies. Would recommend staying here without hesitation.

Room was very comfortable , clean , nice carpet , good TV channels and I like old school Motel type that are well maintained , which it is! location was outstanding as you can go for a nice walk to coffee shops , outside weekend market , broadway is near by and I suggest taking a stroll down that street!

Nothing that I would say " I didn't like " But the staff was kinda lukewarm , not much smiling or welcoming , coming or going! But it won't keep me from coming back as I want to take some more walks down around broadway and enjoy the quiet neighborhood feel Also goy to go see a Ducks sports event! That would be Fun!

The hotel was very nice. I thought it was a good deal until I had to pay another 43.00 for parking for 1 night. There’s really no ultimatum as there’s so many homeless around they say it’s not safe to park on the street. The room was very comfortable.

Spacious room, with a large, comfortable bed. Fridge and microwave. Recently refurbished. Parking available. Short walk to downtown. Didn't realize washers and dryers were available until I was leaving

Bathroom mirror way to high for me. I could just see the top of my head. Good-sized step up into the room. Ramp from sidewalk blocked by a very large planter.

The motel was cute and clean and had more than enough room for myself, my daughter and 3 big grandkids for the night.

I was surprised by the $200 hold on my credit card - after I already paid the room rate. And it stayed pending for several days
