Liked the sparkling cleanliness, comfortable bed, decor had been refreshed since I last stayed here. Like the location on the north side of Eugene 3 miles from the EUG airport.

The heat in the room was provided with a non-digital wall heater. I could not get it adjusted to a comfortable temperature. The room was cold when I arrived & turned the heat on. Within a couple of hours (at 1AM), the room was roasting hot. I turned the unit off. By 4AM, the room was too cold to be comfortable. I turned the heat on again. The control didn't seem to respond to any setting--either ON or OFF. I did not report this to the front desk, however. Access to the room was on rough sidewalk & blacktop--hard to control my 4-wheeled luggage. In daylight the next mornig it appeared that landscape work is underway - maybe accounting for the rough-for-luggage access to the room.

The staff was excellent. The hotel was much nicer than I expected. I left my iPad in the room and didn’t remember for two days after check out and they held it for me! Very safe and trustworthy.

Everything was wonderful.

the beds are comfortable - perfect, the rooms are comfortable - perfect, a large fridge, great microwave, absolutely clean - the best housekeeping staff, big screen tv, great WiFi, and a comfy bathtub. I can't say enough about this property.

At first, I didn't like having a room behind the motel, but I was so wrong. In the middle of the City, the rear rooms face a big vacant lot that absolutely was a peaceful break from the city. I was here for a couple weeks, and I loved it. This motel is five star.

The first thing I noticed was it was extremely clean and felt new. There was a 3/4 size extremely clean LG stainless refrigerator in the room. The microwave was spotless as was everything I could see of importance. The shower, which even had a proper one function showerhead was squeaky clean. I could tell the proprietor was quite proud of this as he should be when he pointed out to me that he expected I would see and feel the difference and I did. The cleanliness and experience I had made up for the expensive game night fee. I would also point out this is the least expensive room in the area that you can get in Eugene on game night as well. I was told it’s normally slightly over $100 and for that price I would certainly recommend this if you need to stay in the area.

The only things I noticed that could really use improvement where things like the lighting in the room that I stayed in. There is no lighting at the mirror. The light is behind you several feet. A female friend that came to the room pointed out it was very difficult for her to see herself with the provided light. The sink didn’t drain particularly well, which is a very minor issue. My experience at this hotel was very good.

I can't say enough about this property. I rarely ever tip the housekeeping staff, but I did here. The housekeeping staff takes great care to ensure the rooms are clean and comfortable. Unlike the majority of hotels, they even wash the blankets. It remains my favorite hotel in the entire state. I would go out of my way to stay here.

I thought of what I didn't like, and couldn't think of anything. This motel shows pride and a great respect for guests comfort.

This is my favorite hotel in Oregon. Bar none. The management are friendly and courteous. The housekeeping staff are top notch. The room was 5 star absolutely. I can't say enough about this site.

There were issues with the WiFi, but the management were quick to respond to the problem.

The lady when we got there to check in was exceptionally kind and courteous I have stayed there in the past and he seems to be pretty defensive and grumpy I think the locals have made him be that way with their disrespect I was so comfortable there I rented it for another night

Really if I only complaint would be that I couldn't park in front of my room but really not worth complaining over from where I parked to but was not that far

I needed a room close to the Eugene Airport for our 5 am flight. Most hotels were 15 minutes away and more expensive. This motel had recently been renovated and the room was brand new. It was large, comfortable and had a fridge and coffee maker! Mike checked us in and was super friendly and helpful!

It is near a main road so there is some traffic noise but it didn’t bother us.

The Royal provided a clean and friendly place to lay over before heading to the airport. I wasn't expecting a very pleasant experience since it was the cheapest available hotel in the area but it was exceptionally clean and the staff was super friendly id deffinitly recommend this for anyone looking for a place to land

This hotel is under renovation and and construction. It's renovated rooms are comfortable, large, and clean. Our rooms were quiet at night. The lobby is currently small and outdated - don't let that discourage you.

There was nothing that interfered with a good night's sleep.
