I think they did a really nice job with the design, the rooms were spare but cute and we loved the lofted timber ceilings on the second floor; the bathrooms were good and the showers included a rain shower head- nice touch. The lobby area with a little outdoor seating was really lovely to have the free breakfast at. The location was extremely walkable and close to all kinds of restaurants and coffee shops. Parking was no problem. Staff was friendly. Beds were comfy.

The only drawback really was that the AC units in the wall are kind of old school, and they're very loud and they run continuously (at least ours did.) other than that I would recommend this place and I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Breakfast was outstanding. Room was clean and well-appointed with necessities. Bedside outlets for charging were easily accessible and very appreciated. Entry lounge & breakfast area were nicely designed, and we were able to eat our takeout dinner after a very late evening arrival at the breakfast area picnic tables with some wonderful local brews on tap from the hotel bar -- delightful! I bet the fireplace in wintertime would be a cozy addition, but were were glad to see it dark on this very hot summer night.

Room decor was unoffensive but uninspired; suggest hanging larger (poster-sized) versions of the vintage University photos or lean into the Timbers Inn theme with larger format park maps/photos on the walls.

This place is a little gem! Friendly, clean, comfortable. Loved the retro look in the rooms, and the lovely flowers on the property. Location was convenient. Price was reasonable, making it great value for the cost. The breakfast was very good, too. I would absolutely stay here again. This probably is my favorite find on Booking.com. I would recommend it highly. I don’t usually rave about places but the Timbers Inn owners are doing everything right.

The facility was very clean and well maintained with lots of parking. The room was clean, updated and comfortable. Staff was friendly. There are a few restaurants within walking distance and a coffee shop right across the street. There was coffee in the lobby, at least in the morning and it tasted pretty decent, so that was convenient. We walked back to the motel from Autzen Stadium, it's about 30 - 40 minutes to walk, but an easy flat surface the whole way.

The only negative was that breakfast is served until 10 and by 9:30 when I went down there was really nothing left and the only thing that staff refilled was the waffle mix. No breakfast meat, no potatoes and only about 1 cup of eggs were left at 9:30. There were a few pastries and cereal, and the waffles, so if you eat like a kid, or have kids there was food for them.

Checked in late. Walked from car into lobby. Receptionist already had our info up on her computer because she saw us coming and we were the only people not checked in yet. Room a close walk from car. Clean, newly remodeled fun room. When we were checking out a nice man asked us how our stay was. The guy checking us out said his family owned the hotel. We told him we were really happy with our room and he mentioned it was recently redone. There was breakfast available, but we didn't eat it because we were meeting our daughter for breakfast. Perfect spot for visiting people at UO.

Location was great! We walked to the Eugene Saturday market which was 2-3 blocks away, plus the market on 5th street, a little further but not a bad walk. We also were able to walk to the campus and surrounding restaurants. Whole Foods is also one block away. The breakfast was fantastic. What a nice change to have real cups and cutlery at this level of hotel. Also, the flowers outside are amazing.

Breakfast was awesome. the room was so clean and nice. Easy to access, the building is super comfortable and looks nice. Shower room is wonderful. Bed is comfortable as well. The building provides like cottage vibe.

they have only one room key, so we needed to texting each other when we were separated. I used to use keycard so it was a great experience to have "inconvenience" but some other people might not like that. Parking lot is pretty small, when I go out for an hour and came back, it was full. Since it is located in downtown, it makes sense.

The room is a good size with a cute retro frig and microwave. The shower was great. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was a perfect way to start the day and the woman working was so nice to find me decaf. Really great remodel.

There was stinky food left in the frig. We had nowhere to put it so we told the clerk. She was very apologetic and came up and got it. At 4:30 am, a huge truck power washed the bus stop nearby for 30 minutes. The street construction started right at 7am with a big jackhammer. Lots of city noise.

We came for a Josh Gates event and I chose them due to walking distance from the venue and the pics of the room. The room was wonderful. Clean and comfortable. Everything worked. Very pleasing decor and paint. Loved the T&G ceiling. The staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was a big bonus. Sausage, bacon, eggs, fruit, a waffle maker, juice, milk, coffee. I would definitely stay here again and recommend them to anyone.

We LOVED our experience at Timbers Inn! The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was so much better than a typical "brand name" hotel. We loved the fun mid-century modern vibe! Breakfast was excellent–real eggs and healthy options! The front desk personnel was all very friendly and helpful, as well. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Eugene!
