The rooms are wonderful and very comfortable. The river view is amazing. Air conditioning was an unexpected and highly appreciated bonus. Laundry facilities are really convenient. Local restaurant is delicious and stays open late.

You have to really give the doors a firm pull or push to close properly. Swing bar locks on the doors would be nice - this is NOT a crime area, more for psychological safety, and to be able to securely crack doors open a little for cross-ventilation. Being able to open windows and not just the sliding patio door for the breeze, particularly at night, would be nice. These last two suggestions would probably be expensive to do, though, and are just nice-to-haves. The property is still wonderful without them.

A lovely place along the Rogue River on the outskirts of Gold Beach. The view was enchanting even on a cold, rainy afternoon. There was a small outdoor patio which would have been perfect to relax on a warm, sunny afternoon. The indoor hot tub in a separate building was a welcome bonus. Lots of handy parking. The room was spacious and very clean.

There was only one restaurant across the street. For more choices, one has to drive into the town for an evening meal. A good option is to bring your own food for dinner and breakfast and use their fridge and microwave. All good.

Loved the location and view from this hotel.

The cleaning could have been a bit better. The main surfaces were clean and the room was comfortable and updated, but there were some handprints on the door, spots on the picture frames, dust on the light, and crumbs on the edge of the room that told me the details weren't looked after.

The room we stayed in was massive! Also all the rooms have a view of the river which was great. I read so many horrible reviews about the carpet, but honestly didn’t think it was bad at all in our room. There was lots of parking for our truck and trailer, convenient laundry, and very pet friendly. It looked like there were ongoing reno’s as well, which is exciting for the property.

Extra care could be taken in cleaning details - the corners/behind doors areas were pretty grubby, and soap from the previous guest was left in the shower.

I stay here each time I travel for business, when check in, I was told by the desk clerk, that their was not to be more then 3 people in the room? It was in a double queen, and check in online said 4 people! I’m not sure why I was told this? I felt it was discrimination, there were 2 of us checking in the room! I did let the desk clerk the next day know this? It was unpleasant experience to be treated like that!

This was a nice affordable place to stay on the oregon coast. Compared to others that are so much more $$. this was very helpful. And the views are beautiful of the river. HUGE TV. comfy beds, and balconies.

Some things could be improved upon, like the state of the bathrooms. The little details. Peeling paint, stains in areas. definitely getting more run down. But overall felt clean. which was good.

Location, staff, facilities, view; all amazing!

I would appreciate if they keep the spa clean; it appears that more frequent cleaning, mostly during the weekends would be very beneficial. The Hot Tub and the swimming pool have enough Chlorine, so no more of that is needed, but cleaning the floors, under the stairs, bathrooms, showers, and the sauna every other day, minimun, would be appreciated.

It was clean, quiet, comfortable. I was surprised with it being below the highway. But we didn't hear anything. The view is great. The girl at the front desk was welcoming and informative. We were worried about being cold because of the heater but it was quite warm! The price was awesome.

We could have used more, or bigger pillows but other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Clean facility with excellent staff for needs or to answer questions. Everyone was very kind and the place was extremely well cleaned. Gorgeous views, but the hotel is aged, but comfortable for the price.

Be able to walk out to the grass and water from the back balconies. I understand the issue with ADA and safety, but that would have made this stay even more enjoyable. The room was VERY clean and organized and staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Love the location of Jot’s Resort right on the Rouge River where you can see lots of river wildlife, birds of all types, seals catching salmon. Also a great view of the bridge. Jot’s is quite accommodating to fishermen hosting a cleaning station right off the dock you see from your room. I’m sure it could probably be quite busy during high fishing season but in May it was pretty quite. There is also a great restaurant that offers pub food and fine dinning as well as a full bar just across the street within walking distance. I would like to add Sam Walker III is a great manager of this property. His parents once owned it so he takes pride in presenting Jot’s.
