The location was perfect! My only regret is I didn't have time to explore the area except for a sweet strip of beach right off the jetty! Loaded with stones to look through for treasures so that was cool! . Checking in was quick and the young lady was really nice. Also, I booked this room just a couple days before my stay and was pleasantly surprised at the value I received .

The privacy issue of the balcony on the bottom floor was a little uncomfortable. I know the openings in the side fence thing are there for the view ( amazing view of the Rogue River !), however, it did cause me, a solo female traveler, a bit of caution. I made the assumption when I booked my room that since the room had a balcony, it was on the upper floor. And by the time I had already brought my luggage and stuff into my room, I was too tired to inquire about switching so that's on me! Just be aware of this, if this is a priority to you. The sliding glass door was very secure so the ONLY reason I'm adding this comment is to give any person a heads up if this is a concern. It was my very first solo trip, so I'm a rookie!

I was at Gold Beach to help with some research on nearby offshore rocks/islands. I needed a boat ramp and moorage, and they had both right there on site. Their prices are more than reasonable and the extras that come with the stay make it more enjoyable and an even better value. Beautiful views of the river and jetty. The arches on the bridge are lit up at night. I saw sea lions, and harbor seals, and beavers from my balcony. Very comfortable beds. Nice restaurant with delicious food right across the street within walking distance for some. Snacks at the office 24 hrs if I read the sign correctly.

I have nothing negative to say about my stay whatsoever.

Location, price, all the amenities and staff were amazing. I will definitely stay with them anytime I am staying In the area. This is my 2nd stay in the past 30 days and both stays the staff was amazing, and very accommodating. I was able to be placed very close to the party I was traveling with both times. And they even gave me a discount because I was in a double room alone (they have multiple buildings and 1 bed and 2 bed rooms are in separate buildings) because I wanted to be near the room of the party I was traveling with. I was willing to pay the extra ten dollars. This time they just gave me an automatic discount when they saw I was staying alone. The previous time I switched rooms to be closer to my companions. I would recommend to anyone in the area. And will most definitely be staying with them again. Very pleasant stay all the way around

The exterior was a little dated, but other than that they did a great job.

Friendly staff. Parking near the rooms. From the balcony of the room there is a beautiful view of the bridge and the bay, in the morning we saw the seals swimming there. The room has a refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine. There is a room heater (which we didn't see and were very cold at night). The bed is comfortable and clean. The sink is separate from the bathroom. There are bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, a bottle of lotion, a bar of soap, and a hair dryer.

Not very good coffee. Weak Internet connection. The shower stall is uncomfortable, small, and the shower door slams pretty hard. Only one waste basket.

We were supposed to go camping but it was pouring rain, needed a hotel in a pinch. This location was perfect, room was amazing on the inside, place looks a little shifty on the outside lol but you can't judge a book by it's cover. The gentlemen who checked me in was extremely nice too, he gave me a slight discount because of my camping/rain situation which wasn't expected but it is greatly appreciated.

shower head is in a weird spot that shoots out in an awkward direction so makes it harder for shorter people to shower lol.

The rooms are wonderful and very comfortable. The river view is amazing. Air conditioning was an unexpected and highly appreciated bonus. Laundry facilities are really convenient. Local restaurant is delicious and stays open late.

You have to really give the doors a firm pull or push to close properly. Swing bar locks on the doors would be nice - this is NOT a crime area, more for psychological safety, and to be able to securely crack doors open a little for cross-ventilation. Being able to open windows and not just the sliding patio door for the breeze, particularly at night, would be nice. These last two suggestions would probably be expensive to do, though, and are just nice-to-haves. The property is still wonderful without them.

A lovely place along the Rogue River on the outskirts of Gold Beach. The view was enchanting even on a cold, rainy afternoon. There was a small outdoor patio which would have been perfect to relax on a warm, sunny afternoon. The indoor hot tub in a separate building was a welcome bonus. Lots of handy parking. The room was spacious and very clean.

There was only one restaurant across the street. For more choices, one has to drive into the town for an evening meal. A good option is to bring your own food for dinner and breakfast and use their fridge and microwave. All good.

Loved the location and view from this hotel.

The cleaning could have been a bit better. The main surfaces were clean and the room was comfortable and updated, but there were some handprints on the door, spots on the picture frames, dust on the light, and crumbs on the edge of the room that told me the details weren't looked after.

The room we stayed in was massive! Also all the rooms have a view of the river which was great. I read so many horrible reviews about the carpet, but honestly didn’t think it was bad at all in our room. There was lots of parking for our truck and trailer, convenient laundry, and very pet friendly. It looked like there were ongoing reno’s as well, which is exciting for the property.

Extra care could be taken in cleaning details - the corners/behind doors areas were pretty grubby, and soap from the previous guest was left in the shower.

I stay here each time I travel for business, when check in, I was told by the desk clerk, that their was not to be more then 3 people in the room? It was in a double queen, and check in online said 4 people! I’m not sure why I was told this? I felt it was discrimination, there were 2 of us checking in the room! I did let the desk clerk the next day know this? It was unpleasant experience to be treated like that!
