The location was very nice as it was close enough to walk to the main strip of town right on the Prom but far enough from where the noise was so quiet evenings. The grounds were well kept Staff was wonderful and very helpful. At first it was a little odd that we had to check in at the sister hotel but that actually was fine.

Could use some updates as the screen door was very hard to open and close. We had to leave it cracked so it wouldn’t get stuck and the person above us was having the same issues. Some of the cabinets wouldn’t close all the way as the hinges needed a bit of work and it just seems a bit run down for the price of 1400 for two nights.

Comfortable and clean. Great view and nice room

Maybe a clock with a plug or usb socket and maybe an extension lead for the fan as there is no AC. I had to move the table next to the bed so the fan could reach me. Also maybe some clear instructions when booking that when you arrive you have to get the key from another motel 5 mins away. It was fine to drive but i had already driven 6 hours, unpacked the car and was looking for a reception to gain access then i saw the sign. I had to load the car back up and drive again. It would have been better to go straight there for the key.

The bed was wonderful, fireplace was nice, the “kitchen” was very nice. We were quite a distance to the ocean but were still able to hear it and sort of see it. The walk to town was great. The chairs and table on the deck were nice too.

The screen needed to be replaced. It had a large hole in it and the track was brioken so opening and closing was very difficult. The ice machine didn’t work. We could only get a handful anytime we tried. Parking wasn’t always easy. If a person didn’t park too good they used two spaces.

Seaside is very family oriented and this property was far enough away from the more boisterous southern end of the beach that it had energy but not the noise of the south end of beach. The beach was great - fun to walk down to the restaurant area on either the sand or use the promenade. The vibe was more eclectic than say Cannon Beach - more economically diverse.

The staff did not respond to a question regarding the floor preferences of the reservation. We found out we were on ground floor instead of upper level when we drove to the property as the check in location is within another property. I didn’t expect to necessarily have an accommodation to our request but found the non-response a bit annoying. The room was certainly adequate and not disappointing but we would have appreciated a response.

Overall we had a good experience here. The view is fabulous, and it is just a short walk to the beach. It is right on the Seaside Promenade, another great place to walk. Far enough from the noisy downtown area to be pleasant. Beds were very comfortable. Staff person at the check-in location was friendly and helpful. Very clean inside. Gas fireplace was nice for the slightly chilly evening.

It was frustrating that some of the information on the website was incorrect: advertising "hot chocolate chip cookies", "local Sleepy Monk coffee", for example, neither of which were included. The DVD library was very small. The board games advertised looked old and falling apart. We were told that the property has new owners. They definitely need to update their website.

This location is walking distance to everything! The room was excellent. Bathroom was exceptionally clean and the kitchenette had everything needed to reheat those wonderful leftovers from Doogers and Norma’s Restaurants! Bed was comfortable. Only small complaint might be that the walls seemed pretty thin and my neighbor left his TV on all night. Don’t let the check-in at a different location deter you. Easy to find and not a big deal! I would stay here again without hesitation!

Breakfast? What breakfast. We walked down to Pig n Pancakes and spent $30 on breakfast.

Today you have to have televisions in each bedroom. That's just standard. Also had to drive to another to get keys. Not easy to find. I believe you should have someone on site to hand out keys. Also, later int he evening power went out around town. I tried calling our contact person and NO answer.

We loved the great view and being at the quieter end of town, yet still walking distance to many things. We were also impressed with the kitchenette, which even included some dishes. We enjoyed being right on the promenade and watching people and their dogs walk by.

Since the bathtub is so deep, we would like to suggest adding some handrails to help assist stepping over such a high tub.

I like how small the hotel is and the quiet location. It's my favorite hotel in seaside for off-season travel. The King suite with queen bedroom is perfect for our trips and I have good experiences with staff each time I stay.

I'm not a fan of the off-site check-in, but they are helpful. The rooms are getting slightly worn, but the off season pricing is on par with that. I'm not sure id be as thrilled during peak season rates.

Love the location on the quiet end of the boardwalk with a great view from upstairs. And I love that the room had a kitchenette complete with some dishes. The fireplace was nice even though it was unused being that the room stayed plenty warm even in December. The value for the money exceeds any other oceanfront accommodation in the area and most of the non-oceanfront rentals as well. Would definitely stay here again.
