Seaside is very family oriented and this property was far enough away from the more boisterous southern end of the beach that it had energy but not the noise of the south end of beach. The beach was great - fun to walk down to the restaurant area on either the sand or use the promenade. The vibe was more eclectic than say Cannon Beach - more economically diverse.

The staff did not respond to a question regarding the floor preferences of the reservation. We found out we were on ground floor instead of upper level when we drove to the property as the check in location is within another property. I didn’t expect to necessarily have an accommodation to our request but found the non-response a bit annoying. The room was certainly adequate and not disappointing but we would have appreciated a response.

Overall we had a good experience here. The view is fabulous, and it is just a short walk to the beach. It is right on the Seaside Promenade, another great place to walk. Far enough from the noisy downtown area to be pleasant. Beds were very comfortable. Staff person at the check-in location was friendly and helpful. Very clean inside. Gas fireplace was nice for the slightly chilly evening.

It was frustrating that some of the information on the website was incorrect: advertising "hot chocolate chip cookies", "local Sleepy Monk coffee", for example, neither of which were included. The DVD library was very small. The board games advertised looked old and falling apart. We were told that the property has new owners. They definitely need to update their website.

This location is walking distance to everything! The room was excellent. Bathroom was exceptionally clean and the kitchenette had everything needed to reheat those wonderful leftovers from Doogers and Norma’s Restaurants! Bed was comfortable. Only small complaint might be that the walls seemed pretty thin and my neighbor left his TV on all night. Don’t let the check-in at a different location deter you. Easy to find and not a big deal! I would stay here again without hesitation!

We loved the great view and being at the quieter end of town, yet still walking distance to many things. We were also impressed with the kitchenette, which even included some dishes. We enjoyed being right on the promenade and watching people and their dogs walk by.

Since the bathtub is so deep, we would like to suggest adding some handrails to help assist stepping over such a high tub.

Clean, welll equipped,view was great, offsite check-in that would be a pain, but it was wonderful Donna or Debbie at the front desk on Saturday was wonderful very helpful and a girl name Sadie prior to checking in was very helpful housekeeping Margarita was as sweet as sweet tea two days in three years!!

I can say about this could’ve been better was a TV guide information and a manual book of the things to do and where to go to eat other than that there was nothing that could’ve been done any different,, great place.

I like how small the hotel is and the quiet location. It's my favorite hotel in seaside for off-season travel. The King suite with queen bedroom is perfect for our trips and I have good experiences with staff each time I stay.

I'm not a fan of the off-site check-in, but they are helpful. The rooms are getting slightly worn, but the off season pricing is on par with that. I'm not sure id be as thrilled during peak season rates.

Love the location on the quiet end of the boardwalk with a great view from upstairs. And I love that the room had a kitchenette complete with some dishes. The fireplace was nice even though it was unused being that the room stayed plenty warm even in December. The value for the money exceeds any other oceanfront accommodation in the area and most of the non-oceanfront rentals as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful facility. Very clean. Location was great.

When the internet went out the office lady was RUDE and did not believe us. She made it sound like I was just stupid and didn't know how to connect to it. Started that there was nothing she could do and that if it was really out many others would have called her. It was going to be a big hassle to her to contact a maintenance person because she would have to contact her manager first. I said yes, please do that. Shortly a very helpful man who barely spoke English showed up and discovered that indeed the wifi was out. It was fixed within about half an hour but the TV then needed a new log in but we gave up and just didn't use it. Also weird to have to check in at a different motel.

It was great being right on the beach. The size of the was nice, like a little condo. The little kitchenette was nice (microwave, sink, mini fridge). We liked that the two beds were in separate rooms.

The parking was a little irritating. The lot is small and not well suited for much larger than a sedan. We ended up having to park up the street because the only two spots open were only big enough for a compact size vehicle.

Clean, nice rooms on the boardwalk with a cute sitting area.

When I booked, it made the property seem like it was closer to the seaside turn around like two blocks to the south. but when we got there it was half a mile north. Wouldn’t have been horrible but we had just walked a long way so it was tough. Also would ah e wished it had a secure gate around the property. It was warm and we wanted to leave the door open but felt unsafe
