The Lodges of Gettysburg was a comfortable cabin. Very clean and well taken care of. The staff was very friendly and answered the couple questions I had. The Lodges of Gettysburg is a 5 minute drive to the battlefield and town. The restaurant also hosted Thanksgiving dinner, which i wish I knew about. But they gave a $ 5.00 off coupon for then next day.

I didn't like the noise from the people who rented the other side of the cabin i was in. These cabins are NOT noise proof. The pictures online are deceiving. I thought, based on what I had seen, i thought I rented a whole cabin, not just a room

Spacious, extremely clean and comfortable, fantastic value, super-friendly staff, beautiful location. Quiet, safe, family-friendly. A little drive from town, but only a few minutes so not too bad (we usually stay in town, within walking distance of restaurants and shops). Definitely worth it! Everyone in our group fell in love with the place and we will be returning for sure.

A continental breakfast, or to at least have coffee available in the tavern / main building would be nice. They do offer a breakfast basket but that would not have been fitting for our group. We also didn't want to bother with the provided coffee pot (it looked so shiny and new).

The private cottages were terrific. Our cottage had an excellent view of the mountains and surrounding areas from our back porch. The staff were all very friendly and the lady at the front desk was really helpful with giving ideas on things to do in the area. Very close to Gettysburg attractions. We thought it was a great value and will definitely stay there again ! Would be an awesome place to have a large family get together.

We ate at the on-site restaurant. We did make reservations, but it seemed like there was a miscommunication. Our table was given to a walk-in . We were taken to a large room, which was probably used for banquets . Being the only ones in there was a little awkward. The food was ok, but with so many great restaurants in the area, we just chose to eat elsewhere.

Cute little room on the side of a cabin. Location is close to Gettysburg battlefield and about 20 minutes to Gettysburg. Pretty location. Pizza in the restaurant was good. I wish they had more selections. The property has a great view. If you can, get a cabin up on the hill for a great view. The lower ones don't have a view. This is a bit more rustic, so if you like the Hilton this probably wouldn't be for you.

No maid service unless you request it the night before. The cabin was a duplex so it could be a go between room if you have a bigger party. It was kind of hard to get into. It would not be ADA. I don't know if other cabins are, but if you can't climb stairs or need grab bars in the bath our room wouldn't work. Our bathroom door locked behind us and they had to replace the doorknob which was done quickly. We were in AR. Wi-Fi was poor, but cell service was o.k. However, when I had to call the office they couldn't hear me, so I don't know if it was cell service or their phone. I could hear them fine. I wouldn't count on doing work over the Wi-Fi.

This was our second time staying here. We love the open space and privacy, especially if you rent the whole cabin to yourself. We also love that there is space for our kids to get outdoors and play in the open fields without having to worry about cars or anything else, I think a small park would be a great addition to this. The beds are comfortable and the kitchenette and large living room makes it easy to come in after a long day of hiking around, warm up some leftovers and relax on the couch.

We had the WV lodge and the water pressure was not the greatest in the kitchen and both bathrooms. The bathroom on the large (double queen) suite would occasionally have a nasty smell to the water. The Fridge in the kitchenette was also going out and didn't actually keep anything cold it just helped keep things cool.

The location was perfect and quiet. Lily at the front desk was impressive as welcoming and professional. The lodge we had was large and comfortable. The food and service at the restaurant was excellent. Colton in the pub was perfect: making custom cocktails and serving our dinner. He and Lily represent The Lodges perfectly. I would only like to offer 3 suggestions: maybe a light breakfast menu, a second mirror near an electric outlet in the bedroom or living room so one can get ready while another is using the bathroom, and adding parking for a second car where lodges house up to 4 people (2cars). We loved our stay and will recommend The Lodges. Thank you.

The Lodges at Gettysburg was an unexpected wonderful surprise! The lush green, hillside location, the friendly & knowledgeable staff, and the excellent accommodations were superb! We stayed in the AK Corporal (side)cabin - very clean, comfortable king bed, antique furnishings, electric fireplace (nice, unexpected touch of ambiance), comfortable bedding, extra pillows + blanket + towels, large fridge w/ freezer section, bottled water in room, microwave, MAXWELL House coffee!!(Good to the last drop!) Hair dryer, make-up mirror, bar soap, shampoo/conditioner, & walk-in shower. We are world travelers and this was one of THE BEST accommodations and hidden gems. Price point was even better! We have told several others about The Lodges at Gettysburg, and can't wait to return! Quiet surroundings. Outdoor lighting. Free parking right outside our door.

Everything was SUPERB!

I very much enjoyed the rural location, away from the city ! Also, I enjoyed the cabin style accommodations, with the front porch and the rear deck, and separation from other guests. The interior is rustic and cozy, and as comfortable as home ! I wish I could stay longer. Also, the grounds are beautiful, with hiking trails and views ! I'm recommending this to my daughter !

My visit was on days the dining room is closed. A pub style food service would be nice. That would not deter me from a return reservation.

The secluded location was nice. Clean, quiet cabins. Available toiletries at the front desk. Trails on the property. Though we didn't eat at the property, there is a restaurant that opens at 4 pm.

Kitchen could be better stocked even though there's no cook top. A scouring pad. Some microwavable cookware. Ice trays. Salt and pepper shaker. Cooking utensils. The gym and spa option should become available again.

The view. The size of the cabins. The bed was comfortable The rooms were clean. The food at the restaurant was delicious

The kitchenette should have a toaster or toaster oven in addition to the microwave. The drip coffee maker needed to be cleaned and the freezer needed to be defrosted since it was iced up and the refrigerator really didn’t keep things all that cold. While there were utensils there was no measuring spoon provided to measure the coffee into the coffee maker
