The facility was VERY clean. We paid the extra for the meals with our stay. The breakfast was the usual, eggs, sausage, bagels, waffle maker, fruit, etc. Our dinner was delicious, However, it is rather annoying that you can't bring your leftovers with you. I understand that they have unlimited entrees once you finish your first dish, and I could understand that you can't bring that dish, but I don't understand why you can't bring your first meal if you can't finish it. The stuffed chicken Florentine was delicious, it pained me to waste it My boyfriend also enjoyed the prime rib and the chuck burger. You also have soup and salad bar and your choice of dessert at the end. My favorite part was the deer roaming the property. I brought carrots and apples, but you can also buy a huge page of corn for $5. They were so sweet, and they weren't overbearing at all. We enjoyed BINGO, we both won cash each day, so that was fun. The indoor pool was the PERFECT temperature and the water had just enough chemicals, because it didn't have that chlorine smell. We enjoyed the "bowling" downstairs at Spooners. The person who made our bed and brought us fresh towels, did a great job, we brought our own pillows and blankets, and they even straightened and folded those for us. I did not get their name, but the bartender in the restaurant on Tuesday afternoon, was super sweet and friendly. We took a ride on the Pontoon boat in the morning and the driver was also super nice and friendly. This was a VERY peaceful and relaxing vacation. It was nice and quiet, the room was dark at night and the bed and pillows were super comfy. If you are looking for a place to get some relaxation and bond with your significant other, then I highly recommend this place.
Not being able to bring your leftovers with you. Second night, I was given the wrong order and it took almost another hour to get what I had originally ordered. Being there from 630-almost 830 was a bit much. I also feel that dinner not being served until 6 is a little late, especially if you cant really eat heavy before you go to bed. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

It was wonderful ! I went with my husband for our 5th anniversary, and right in the entrance my husband stated *We have to come back* The entire space was clean, very welcoming. The best part for me was the no children allow. The room was big enough, and the jaccouzi did work. The food was excellent. I highly recommend it. Plus the have some couple activities which make it less boring.
The only thing, I just which the bed was lightly longer or bigger, because my husband is almost 6ft tall, and his feet were hanging because the heart shape bed wasn't really big, but it was conftable.

This was our second visit to Cove Haven. We decided to go with a cheaper room this time and we actually liked it so much better than the more expensive one! Breakfast and dinner was great, staff was great, and the deer were absolutely amazing!! My only downside was that a lot of the activities weren't available but we were prepared for that because of the weather being in between winter and spring. We have done winter and early spring...next time we want to go late spring when everything is opened up.

The breakfast
Our last night and day we had no power. A place this expensive should have a sufficient backup generator system in place. Weather cant be controlled but they slacked on the foresight to prepare to preserve their customers quality of stay. No reimbursement or rescheduling was offered and they will lose alot of repeat business for their "oh well, cant control the weather" attitude. Also I chose the eggplant for dinner and it was inedible for me.the sauce was bitter . I ate part of my wifes ribs which was very good

The Champagne Tower room is very unique! It offers EVERYTHING we need so that we never want to leave it. The fireplace and lighting were very romantic. Having our own private heated pool was the icing on the cake. My wife was very happy with the entire experience!
Even though the Room setup is amazing and unique, it is also a little outdated. The carpets are very old and don't exactly leave you comfortable stepping on them barefoot. A carpet replacement and a new coat of fresh paint would go a long way

We love the premium rooms that have the in suite personal swimming pool and sauna. The deer and squirrels that roam the property are cool too. You can buy feed for them at the gift shop and feed them all. The staff is curious, friendly, and helpful. In our opinion, this is the better location of their brand.
This is an aging resort that has had some renovations done, but the age still shows through in many areas. It was probably a cool place back in its heyday, but those times have passed, and there never seems to be a lot of other guests while we are there. It's definitely a great place to go, and have a peaceful retreat with your loved one! The light switches are all dirty, and some worn to the point of not functioning. There also seems to be multiple switches for all the suites lights, some in areas that make sense, and others are a mystery, so you may have to search and determine what operates what.

The room was amazing my partner, and I really enjoyed our stay just relaxing out with one another, the deer were interesting never been that close to them before so that was an experience, to the activities and the fact that we were pretty much in a secluded area away from everything was a plus. All in all was a wonderful stay
The breakfast was horrible and for what paid for the room breakfast should of been included or a better option for it to be buffet style

The 1st room we checked into the PTAC unit did not work. The quickly moved us to another room. We enjoyed the room , Loved the pool and the hot tub. It was our 1st time visiting the Poconos. The inclusive dinner and breakfast was amazing. The hostess and waitstaff were very friendly and accommodating. The music entertainers did an amazing job. Cove Haven was just what my husband and I needed to help us with rest and relaxation.
The facilities itself seem to be outdated. The Schooners had a musty smell to it. You could tell it was older. However, the bartender was super nice and the games were so much fun.

The room was fantastic, and QUIET! Sure it looks a bit dated in spots but the pool, hot tub and round bed were just so much fun. Staff was quite lovely, Dennis the server was a trip! Check-in and out was fairly painless. Lots of activities too.
The restaurant food was good, but nothing to write home about. It had snowed during our stay and some of the roadways and walks weren't as well salted/cleared off as we would have liked. Also the room had no windows, which I assume was for privacy but it made it hard to gauge the time of day when waking up in the morning!

I like indoor pool and feeding the deer and finally find the bowling day before we left but wish we found it sooner. Like the room was dark.
The service at restaurant one was rude to me and couldn't get my couple massage that I wanted and had eat so late cause couldn't get earlier time and we couldn't eat breakfast the day we was leaving cause we had to leave early plus we lost water in our room for a while .The bed was hard .
