Great location, probably renovated ; VERY NICE FRONT DESK STUFF!!

The porch is big but since it’s not covered- and no privacy between rooms - has no use , especially during the rain Room is too small without usage of the porch AC blowing straight into a face of those who are in the bed ( that’s how small is the room ) The fridge wasn’t plugged in; when moved the tv stand to reach the outlet - found many dead bugs - cleaning stuff doesn’t care at all

We chose this hotel to stay close to Fallingwater, which was a short 20 minute drive away. We discovered another FLW house only 10 minutes away that we also visited. The new owners have obviously put a lot of heart and soul into renovations. I would call this property comfortable - rooms were relatively small and our wifi was very weak, but everything was clean, the staff was very friendly, the beds were comfortable enough, the view of the lake was calm and bucolic, and we were perfectly situated for our sightseeing plans. I would stay here again if I were ever in the area.

The grounds are lovely. This will be a lovely lodge when all the renovations are done. They are working on the Conference/lobby area and apologized that our room had not yet been renovated. The pavilions and firepits are very nice. The location is superb for a mountain get away.

Our room had not yet been renovated. The furnishings were a bit tired and the room was clean, but could have used a more thorough cleaning...under and behind the bed and fridge. I really believe all will be remedied with renovation. I would stay here again.

I loved the look, the staff were helpful and kind, they also had nice outdoor activities, and we enjoyed a fire on one of the nights and enjoyed the beautiful peacefulness that is in the area!

The beds were just a little on the hard side (but still sleepable), and when I arrived one of three beds in our room had a broken box spring when you sat on the bed, but as soon as the staff found out they were going to have maintenance look into it, so not really their fault!!

The staff/front desk were extremely friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean, almost like it was brand new. If I were to bring my family again, I will book a bigger room, maybe even one of the suites.

Coffee for the single cup coffee pot could have been better. But, that's just a personal preference, not really anything to do with the motel itself.

Amazing large, beautiful,peaceful property with lake, walking paths, picnic/grilling areas, multiple fire pits, nice room deck. My room wasn't renovated yet, but clean and had everything I needed for my stay Pet friendly, very important to me. I'm looking forward to seeing the completed property upgrades because I will definitely return and recommend the lodge. I loved it.

Staff was excellent, facilities well maintained and welcoming. First appearance was very pleasing and the layout of the cabins was well thought out. Room suited our needs as we were only spending the night, clean and large enough. Patio off the room was a plus as it was ground level and gave view of nature, not paved roads and buildings. The place was close to Fallingwater, out actual destination. Plenty of good eating places within reasonable driving distance. Plenty of improvements going on in the check in room

small things, the front door did not fit the jamb very well. We notified the staff and were told they are going to be replacing all the doors.

Got off the grueling interstate and walked into a slice of nature ! I really enjoyed the little patio off our room and the Variety of beautiful shrubs and trees they had all over Very clean and safe Places to eat within 5 miles Manager very friendly

Needed a hook to hang clothes in bathroom Not a dealbreaker though

I love the peaceful setting and the view of the pond. The nature trail was great for an evening walk. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean.

The place is still being remodeled so there is no breakfast or decent coffee. Luckily the market across the street has hot coffee that isn't bad. This will not keep me from coming back though. I look forward to watching the place grow and change in the coming seasons.

Room and bath spotless, quiet, beds clean and very comfortable, nice size refrigerator With small freezer. There was a small deck with a table and two chairs overlooking the small lake and we enjoyed our morning coffee there. The landscaping was just beautiful throughout the property. There are several covered picnic table areas with grills and several stone fire pit areas around the property. The owners have obviously put a lot of care, thought and love into this lodging and property. The property is still a work in progress but we are so impressed with what has been done so far. The staff, both evening and morning, were so pleasant and willing to assist. As there is no Continental Breakfast served (as main building is undergoing remodeling they recommended the restaurant across the highway which proves to be excellent. We really cannot say enough positive about our stay and the property. We are retired and take frequent road trips and its not always easy to find affordable, clean, comfortable lodging bit we hit the jackpot on this one! We look forward to returning and supporting this local business.

Not one complaint. I would like to recommend that when presenting the room key you specify it is to be used in the lock on the door handle and not the large lock above it😉
