Breakfast was typical fare. Cereals, eggs, bacon, bagels, the usual. However, the night of our arrival the hotel held a "Managers Reception" where they served a dinner of Pulled Pork, potato salad, green beans, rolls, soup, and cheesecake and wine. We could not have been happier!!! My spouse and I are planning on returning to that location in a few months time. The room had 2 queen beds which were comfortable. We also had the usual microwave, but we had a kitchenette, with a stovetop, and a full sized refrigerator. The closet was incredible. Overall I could not be happier with my stay there, and my spouse spend about sixty days on the road every year all over the United States.

The parking spaces were, for my taste, a tad narrow. Honestly that was it!!!

Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful, and didn't see even one person that did not smile when I greeted them. Breakfast and the evening meet and eat was fun and had a family atmosphere. The food was also good and of good quality. Velma was awesome and her southern sweet tea was delicious. There are a few pictures of the evening meals. Sorry don't have any of breakfast I never took my phone to breakfast.

Only thing I didn't like was that we couldn't stay longer.

Property was clean. The kitchen was helpful. The property did have a fun entrance area with computers, a good hot breakfast included with the stay, and a billiards room that we enjoyed a great deal.

I don’t generally leave anything in this area but I think it’s important for travelers to know what they are getting. The room was small and difficult for 2 non-coupled of adults to get around in, but the space was advertised so it was acceptable. Our biggest issue was the smell. It smelled like rotting animal and garbage outside the building and it was constantly being recycled by the air conditioner (2nd floor) into our room and was absolutely overpowering. We were 2 men who have survived dorms- we can handle smells- but this was ROUGH. Staff said it was some kind of pesticide. The refrigerator had to be fixed (no biggie), the bathroom linoleum was broken and loose and we kept tripping over it the whole stay. Lastly the king bed that was stated was DEFINITELY not a king size bed.

We were greeted by very friendly staff who actually upgraded our room which was very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of options. There was free laundry on site with laundry detergent at the desk for free. 24 hour coffee and tea available in the lobby. They provided a billiard table if you are interested. They also have grills available out front where you can cook your own food.

The only thing I didn’t like was the small size of the pool. There really wasn’t enough room for many people or for swimming. There should also be a second waffle maker given the number of people who stay there.

The staff was so sweet! Upon entering the room it smelled so clean and fresh! Everything was clean! The bed was nice,soft and quite comfortable! Large spacious area! I love that they have a fire pit and two bbq grills and will loan you all the grill stuff and even seasonings if you want to cook! There is also a pool table available if you want to play! Breakfast was wonderful! Large selection of hot and cold items with toppings for oatmeal and eggs!

There was duct tape in the bathroom on the floor (like it was repairing part of the floor) which was a major turn off and the fixtures were dusty in our room. I felt like we got a last minute room and we booked months in advance. Personally, I don't think that room should be booked until it's up to par! That shocked me for a Marriott! Overall the hotel was well kept so I didn't complain. We were there just 1 night. Just unusual for a Marriott that's all.

Staff were amazing. Very friendly. This hotel had everything we wanted to a hotel. Free parking. A hot huge breakfast..full kitchen iv the room... social hour Monday - Thursday.. free Laundry.. a billiards room.. outside pool.. outside patio with grills and fire pit. This was a five star in my book. Thanks to all the staff that made our stay great.. see you again.

Everything! Room was exceptional, comfortable, and clean. Staff was absolutely Fantastic. Elizabeth with the front guest services, to the taco bar attendant, and the breakfast attendant consistantly went above and beyond. We will most definaty be staying at this location when we travel to Charleston. Excellent value for cost of the room and we have stayed at MANY locations in Charleston when we visit.

The check-in staff was great!! For some reason, when I tried to check in, they said that my room had gotten canceled (not by me), but Miguel reinstalled my reservation and gave me my room back. We saw him every morning, and he was always pleasant.

They said that my room was canceled on Sept 26, and being that I booked through booking, it makes me not want to booked through you again. I feel like Booking canceled my reservation and because the hotel was booked up anyway, it was no lost on their part.
