I'm European, and honestly, my past experiences with budget-friendly American hotels haven't been great. The biggest issue for me has always been cleanliness - dirty carpets, not-so-fresh rooms, and let's not even talk about the breakfasts. But this hotel totally changed my mind! It was super clean, which is the most important thing for me. The room felt fresh and well-kept, and that made a huge difference. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise too - scrambled eggs, turkey sausages, Canadian bacon, fruits, and even waffles. Such a nice touch! If I had to mention a downside, the A/C was a bit loud, and the iron didn’t really work. But honestly, the room was so clean that I’d happily deal with the A/C again. I’d definitely stay here again without a second thought! Big thanks to Caroline at the front desk - she was so friendly and helpful during check-in. Really appreciated that warm welcome!

A/C and iron

The staff on property was great. We were a bigger group (6 people) who due to unforeseen circumstances had to evacuate our airbnb in the middle of the night. I called SpringHill Suites to ask if we would be able to check in so late (after midnight) and they said yes and were extremely accommodating to us, helping us into a suite that fit all of us, giving us extra blankets/pillows etc. to make us comfortable and even allowing us late check out so we didn't have to rush the next day since we didn't get in until very late. Joseph and Ebony at the front desk are awesome and were so helpful to us! Thank you!

I looked all over for hotels that didnit allow pets and most glad I came across this hotel. In addition, the rooms were up to date, clean and comfortable. The manager and staff were hospitable and accommodating. Also, there's a very good restaurant next door to the hotel which was pretty convenient. I would definitely book this hotel again when traveling back to Charleston, SC.

The only thing I did not like in the room was the positioning of the television. Im not sure if all the rooms were set up that way or a few. I was in a a room with 2 beds and the tv was not in the center. The tv was furthest away from my bed.

The facility itself was very nice. Modern and clean. The staff person that checked us in was wonderful. The breakfast on the other hand left much to be desired. There was no coffee, no waffle batter, no milk, no yogurt, no orange juice..... One person was working hard at making breakfast sandwiches and eggs and another one was just standing there. When a guest informed her that there was no coffee she was quite put out and finally went and made some. She finally made some waffle batter also. There were many, many people trying to get something to eat. When I approached the person at the counter about the situation, her only answer was that the truck had not arrived. I do get that sometimes there is supply issues but this time there was also staffing issues. There was obviously coffee and waffle mix and enough ingredients to make breakfast sandwiches and eggs but only one person willing to hustle.

My friend and I really loved the location. The staff which included Angelic, Cotea and (Ruth who takes care of breakfast) were outstanding. Our room was laid out nicely and bigger than we expected.

Since we were attending the Charleston Tennis facility, we were so disappointed that the hotel did not have the tennis channel available as we always like to watch the tennis matches on TV at night. Our 2 complaints with our room were that the air conditioning unit was very noisy, and the smoke detector would flash at night which was also annoying. When the flashing woke me up, I thought there was faulty wiring. Very scary!!! Also, we thought Ruth needs some help keeping the breakfast food filled since the hotel was very busy during our stay.

I had to pay accident fee that I didn't know about so I had to pay an extra $80.00 and I wasn't aware of that or pleased with.

It is super close to the airport and the staff works like a well oiled machine. The room was neat and tidy. And the breakfast was good. If I had gotten up early enough to get the biscuits it would have been 100%. It's as neat and clean on the inside as it looks on the outside. And everything in the room worked including the no less than 10 USB outlets.

I'm really trying hard to find something I didn't like, and after much thought, I can't find anything.

We were welcomed warmly to the SpringHill suites Marriott Charleston airport and convention center. Our room 211 was very clean and spacious although carpeted. Breakfast came with our stay and it was a complete breakfast area with eggs, bacon / ham / sausage, oatmeal, waffles, bagels or muffins, yogurts and fruit, juices. Most diets could be accommodated. Walking distance to coliseum and fine arts center. Central to 526 and 26. There was an exercise area, pool and outdoor seating.

Parking was a premium. At times could hear water running, Walls were a little thinner than anticipated for such Nice accommodations. And doors could close with a thud.

Due to the weather I'm sure, the pool was very warm, didn't stay in it too long.

Staff was super friendly. Hotel was very clean when we arrived on Thursday. Our room was exceptionally clean and smelled nice.

the common areas were less clean from when we arrived on Thursday possibly from the hotel becoming very busy. Saturday night hotel was loud children yelling down hallway and running letting doors slam.
