Fantastic vibes. Bar. Pool. Room. Swing Dancing with excellent live band. Owner/creator Lyon Porter and Jersey Banks have their finger on the pulse of style. Fun with capital F.

Loved everything. Just check with the hotel regarding food options. Some of the information on the hotel says they offer breakfast lunch and dinner. For our stay there was one food truck that offered tacos until 6 PM. Tacos were outstanding! However, if we had arrived after 6PM we would have been disappointed to learn there were no other options. Just call so you can be prepared

The place is fabulous! The pool and the rooms are so unique and it was a real joy staying here. The ladies checking us in were so welcoming and chatty which we loved. At night we sat outside the room having a few drinks and it was the most chilled time of our trip with the best views. I'd recommend to anyone and everyone at home is obsessed with the pictures.

The weather and the fact we stayed on a Tuesday meant the place was exceptionally quiet. Weather can't be helped obviously, I just didn't expect it to be so quiet so we headed back downtown for a couple of hours. The bar girl was loudly talking about how she couldn't wait to get out of there the following day as it was her last shift so that felt a bit unprofessional. Food on site would have been a bonus.

The Dive Motel is certainly a themed stay experience and it lived up to it. Fun and funky staff were friendly and welcoming and the motel lived up to its name but in a clean and comfortable way.

It is not a luxury hotel, nor does it claim to be, so given its market, I have no complaints. We visited in late October so the pool and outdoor bar area were closed but I imagine that is a fun area.

Really good location with lots of great bars and restaurants close by. Really liked the pool and overall style of the place.

I felt the room was very small for a premium price. Also the bar was closed every night at 10pm. This isn't too bad in itself, I just felt that for such a premium price you could have a little more to offer.

The room was amazing and just as advertised . Fantastically done and the perfect 70’s stay ! Thr music stations in the room were a great touch . Great choice of tunes.

When we arrived there was a band /DJ on and it was ear shatteringly loud . Probably no issue when you’re in your twenties but too much for a slightly older crowd ! I was relieved when they wrapped up and the tunes around the pool were a lot cooler and at a much more sensible level .

We LOVED the vibe - super cool and unique place to stay. Comfy beds and everything was super clean. The bar was also great.

It was a bit too far from anything to walk, which ended up fine but I didn’t love. It’s also a bit loud in the mornings because it’s a motel, so less noise protection around the rooms. Finally, I found it just a bit pricey for what it was - would stay again though!

The vibe was awesome and the staff communicated very well and was very accommodating. Decor was really fun! Wish I could see it in summer as it was too cold for the pool. Great Halloween decorations

The hotel desk was unmanned from 20 pm to 8 am so had to leave keys with night watchman

We personally didn’t mind the location—close to lots of hip east Nashville things-but probably takes a certain type of guest to be ok with the location—a bit bleak outside the door.

I really liked the location; East Nashville. Very trendy place and quiet (away from downtown). I also liked that the property seemed very secure; you had to access the rooms through the main lobby/bar. The hot tub was amazing and my friend and I tried to take as many advantages as possible for it!

The heater in the room was noisy and no T.V. (this isn’t such a big deal, but I was doing the no-screens vacation so I only had a phone on me…luckily my friend brought her iPad.)

It lived up to expectations- it is beautifully styled, has some lovely little touches and it was the perfect spot for us to stay for a mixture of relaxing and exploring Nashville. The staff were also lovely and helpful, and made us feel very welcome.
