Booking.com really got me upset. Got 2 nights stay & paid for them in advance. Got there & they put down 1 night. It could have really been bad, but the Hitel itself came through for us. Had to call myself & get it straighted up. Hate that. Won't order my room online again. Then Booking.com said they wouldn't make me pay, lol, for their mistakes. Not a happy camper here.

Front staff was very nice at both check in and out. The room was clean. My husband loved the bed. I love the pillows. Nice breakfast selection. Easy to locate.

The breakfast line was a bit long because of the pancake maker being in the middle of traffic flow. I understand the space was being renovated, I would think that section would need to be moved to a more spacious location. The toaster for the bread and bagels was tucked away in a room opposite of where the rest of the food was located. The lovely woman working that morning was amazing, friendly, and inviting. Coffee was good!

Very friendly staff, nice room with big comfy pillows and beds (Queen), great breakfast, lovely with complimentary shampoo, lotion, makeupwipes and so on (a little thing but with great value). We had a special request and needed help during the night and the staff was very helpful and kind. Thank you for a great stay.

The hot breakfast was fantastic! Turkey sausage for us non-red meat eaters and bacon and pork sausage for those that prefer that. Biscuits and gravy, fresh pancakes and chobani yogurt too! We loved the veggie egg white omelets, scrambled eggs and actually surprisingly good coffee. My diabetic husband was definitely appreciative of the variety of protein options! We were also very appreciative that the maids came every day to clean up and replace the towels and empty the trash. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in Canyon. We came to see Palo Duro and it was the perfect jumping off point. Having a hardy breakfast was so essential for our long hikes in the canyon.

The first three days the hot tub wasn’t working, and I had specifically chosen this hotel just to be able to use the hot tub after our long days of hiking. I only got to use it for 20 mins on our very last night.

The young woman at the desk during check in was super friendly. The facility was great! I especially loved the blackout curtain, and the bed was perfect, not too soft or too hard. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend staying here.

The location was perfect. The hotel staff were personable and attentive.

Booking.com did not communicate with myself or hotel accurately. They caused much trouble not correcting my requested check-in date and insisting the property did not answer the phone or email. Transcripts of my communication with Booking.com were incomplete, omitting my request dates and contracted price. I had changed my arrival date two months ago and they would not ever confirm my request and insisted I pay a higher room charge. HIE was very helpful rectifying this long saga.

On check in I had a bit of a problem but kudos to Jessica for all her help in the check in process and throughout my stay!! Jessica should be considered for employee of the month on her professionalism and kindness!!

It was a bit messy from the construction and due to massive rainfall there were many leaks throughout the dining room but understandable!! The staff was great although of this issue and they continued to be helpful and friendly!!

Perfect place for our dog as there was a large green expanse behind hotel for running and fetching. Clean and quiet hotel with multiple outlets for charging and free wifi. About 1 mile from historic quaint city center. Nice night light in bathroom.

The hot tub was out of commission. The price for the room doesn’t change when one of the amenities I’m counting on isn’t available…. After hiking and biking all day we had looked forward to the hot tub while the kids played in the pool. It was a planned part of our vacation. To not have that dynamic kinda was a bummer. I wanted hot tub time w my partner after a family day with the kids. Idk. Not a deal breaker but just really bummed I didn’t get the vacation I needed.

Such happy, helpful and friendly employees! We felt welcomed from the time we checked in. The beds were very comfortable, the room was nice and clean. The location for us was great, we could walk to everything we were there for if we wanted to.
