Staying at the Lexington suite is perfect. Home like feel. I love how outside of the patio. There’s a big ship parked in front of us and there’s a pier to walk through. Good AC. Clean water. I admire small things like the drying rack and the add on shower caddy and the closet rack with hangers.

Natalya, our host, was absolutely kind. She was very accommodating to our needs. There was a problem that happened during our booking that was not her fault; it was through the platform we used. Natalya offered us options for our room, and we were very pleased. Our room was quaint & very homey. It reminded me of something that stepped out of a "Mom & Pop" style motel, and we really liked it. She checked on us daily when she did her daily room cleaning checks. She made sure we knew that she would collect the trash and give us fresh towels. She told us that our room cleaning would happen after we left, which was fine for us. We were directly on the beach and in front of the USS Lexington, which was a good perk. Most importantly, we were allowed to bring our dogs with us, and that was a huge relief for us.

There wasn't anything in particular we didn't like. We would have preferred to have breakfast, but we understood her thinking about it. Unfortunately, in this area Capri Beach is not located near any places to get a good breakfast outside of going to another hotel.

We really like the location! Everything was centrally located and in walking distance of local bars, restaurants, Lexington, tx state aquarium, and the beach. You are literally staying on the beach. The owner was nice and friendly, even had their own ice cream shop that had great soft serve. The bathroom was incredibly spacious and had a claw foot tub. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends!

Parking was not entirely available. You had to pay meter parking during the day or find a $5 per day parking. Which apears out of the control of the hotel. Also, it needs better pillows.

Natalya and her daughter were amazing people to meet and extremely kind. They made it feel like home away from home. The AC works GREAT, especially in that humid environment. You have a microwave and mini fridge which was nice. They run the ice cream/snowcone stand at the hotel. It is on the waterfront in front of the Lexington which was great. There are a few food places, one Pier 99 next door, Blackbeards and Yo Philly. There is a gas station on that side of town but they do close early. The Texas State Aquarium is just a block over. We went for the baseball games at Whataburger field, which is right across the bridge. There is a jetty right in front of the hotel where you can walk out in front of the Lex and enjoy the sounds of the waves.

They have construction all around due to the new bridge they are putting in so after the two days I finally figured out where to go. It was a little bit of a hassel but well worth the time. The beach had some jellyfish wash up so watch out during this time of year. While I like the homey feel, the bed was a bit creaky and springy.

The location is next to the Lexington and reasonable walking distance to the Aquarium. Decent restaurants are also walking distance. The AC works WELL. The room had a big refrigerator and a coffee maker... charming vintage furnishings...ours had a roomy, handicapped accessible bathroom, the bed was comfy and the noise level was almost zero even though tourist traffic was heavy. Parking wasn't an issue, really. Natalya was incredibly cordial and helpful and immediately responsive to our texts. I highly recommend.

The location was excellent to see several sites in walking distance. We were able to walk to the Aquarium and the USS Lexington was the view from our front door. The USS Lexington lights up blue at night and that is why we guessed it is called The Blue Ghost.

Parking was meter pay which could cost you some money but there was reasonable pay parking close by that you could use to park your vehicle and keep it close by.

Natalia is a wonderful host. She is prompt at answering questions, explains everything, but most of all remembers her previous guests. She accommodated our needs and welcomed us back. She showed attention to our dogs and made them feel at home. There's grass for them right outside the hotel and the AC works amazing! We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed the owner. She was helpful and accommodating to us during our stayIn fact, we loved it so much that we extended a few more days. She loves dogs and our Scooter, loved her. We will be back !!!

There was not anything to say about any dislikes. The area was great.

The location was amazing, top rated restaurant is next door on the pier, the aquarium is 2 streets over, owner of property also runs the ice cream palor "big daddy's" out front and the chocolate and vanilla was very very good. The lexington room has a private deck that overlooks not only the ship, but full 180 degree view of the bay. Best part of the deck is it is shaded in the afternoons during the hottest part of the day. The rooms itself was very large and clean reminded me of a good size apartment. The exterior of the facility looks worn down do to all the storms, but the inside is immaculate even the inner courtyard. Reminded me of places in Italy where they are taxed on the appearance of their building so the inside is always very well done. Also I have to add because of the location being between the aquarium, lexington, and pier, it is a very safe and relaxing place for vacation, the law enforcement and security in the area there keep alot of the bad away. The owner is also very helpful and accommodating she definitely goes above and beyond to give that home away from home feeling. I was extremely satisfied with this place and I've traveled alot. The price for the unit was also a very good deal for the location. I would rate it a 9.7 out of 10.

Only two downsides to this area , but its not a big inconvenience 1st is paid meter parking, however the city has a phone app that you can use so you dont have to feed the meter at 8am, where it's paid 8am to 6pm only. (Note, the metered fare is also cheap compared to most places like New York, Washington D.C., Chattanooga, TN ect....) Also if you have a handicap tag parking is free at any spot even metered. The second downside is kitchenette only has microwave and large fridge no stove top. That being said though has its pros too because it not only gives plenty of counter top space for microwave items and acquiring food right next to the location is no problem at all. It also keeps the place extremely clean and the bugs like water striders from wanting to come inside.

Upon arrival, I gave the owner a quick call and she was right there. She is a wonderful lady who did our transaction in no time we were escorted by her telling us all the ins and outs of the place, she walked us to our room, and even showed us how to use the remotes. The room smells wonderful and their service is excellent. We will definitely stay there again.
