I know I went a little overboard giving 5stars across the board but that’s because I wish I could have given them 6 stars. The staff was so accommodating and nice all over the place. The location was so convenient to the beach, downtown and local bar and eateries. The room was clean and spacious. Loved that they had an onsite restaurant/bar and the played Live music the day I was there. I would come back tomorrow just for that cookie they give you. This is definitely a great find.

The parking.. Had to pay separate per day for parking.. The hotel should have the parking available for their guest for free.. The pool was crowded and didn’t required to scan your key card to access, it was like anybody from the public was coming in and out how they pleased.. key card we’re not required when re entering the hotel from the back door from the beach side.. should be more aware and concern for guest safety..

Awww, it's my first time reserved there! It is a perfect location and no heavy traffic! The beach is right there! I don't need to drive to the beach. The restaurant is served in the lobby. The parking lot is safe. My mind was very relaxing and more peaceful! My dog's one leg is having bad arthritis and couldn't walk well. I took him to the beach for a reason. He's 15 years old. He has a chronic disease L-5 on his back. I encouraged him to walk in the sand as like good for his leg, but he seemed not to want it. Only cement sidewalk. Anyway I will come back again. I love it! I highly recommend this is a great hotel.

The location was perfect! Step out back right onto the ocean. Super impressed with the breakfast (which isnt continental)! Lots of options! The rooms were clean! It definitely didn't have like a wet musty smell. The Lexington was super close by, the view was beautiful & it wasn't super packed. Would definitely stay here again!

The beds weren't all that comfortable & I definitely think shower heads need to be detachable. There's so much sand that comes off once you get in the shower and it just stays on the shower floor. There isnt much of an option to rinse off outside. Also, the jet ski rentals are super close which is great but not when people on them stay near the shore. We watched almost a few accidents with them & swimmers.

The room was clean and the bed comfy. It was right on the beach. The pool was clean with plenty of seating although could have done with a bit of shade around. The bar/restaurant was ok. The buffet breakfast at the weekend was very nice. Very convenient for visiting the USS Lexington.

Our room was described as having a bay view but there was a large, ugly jutting out roof outside our balcony which meant you could only see the sea past it. Technically I suppose it was a bay view but not what I was expecting for the price we paid.

Not many restaurants within walking distance, but the Black beards restaurant was great.

The many children in the pool with changing of dirty diapers after coming from the pool. Apparently using the pool as a toilet.

The Staff was great in every aspect. This location had both a beach and a pool. The grandkids stayed in the water until we made them get out. Breakfast was great, and we ordered room service one evening. The food was tasty and plentiful. We had an ocean view and could watch the porpoises swim by in the mornings

Our last night there, a school of jellyfish shut the beach down, but the kids were able to go to the pool. It wasnt the fault of the hotel, but of nature. There are not many places to eat within walking distance of the hotel.

1. Location - proximity to USS Lexington & State Aquarium (purpose of our visit). Also right on a beach (though watch out for lots of jellyfish out there) 2. Hotel staff- very professional & attentive (starting w/ warm welcome on arrival by Nicole, subsequently Dimas at the front office addressed issue we encountered our 1st day to our satisfaction). Also, Jackie at the restaurant was amazing! 3. Swimming pool / hot tub - nice & clean 4. Gym - very nice for a hotel

1. Parking- somewhat limited and (which is bit unusual) at extra cost to hotel guests. It felt safe though.

Office staff was great, Check in was easy & fast. Pool (very cold water) was very nice roomy and included beautiful lights, comfortable lounge chairs. The hot tub was nice- I loved how cozy the atmosphere was. It was literally on the beach. Pool must be accessed with room key. Did not have breakfast as it was $16/person. They did have a little store in there, but everything was very expensive.

I did not like the fact that I paid $300/night for a bay view BUT, there was a huge awning outside of our room (as you can see in the photos) that covered the whole beach area and we were not able to see the sand, the people or anything going on below us. The parking lot was VERY full because they allow other people that are not guests to park there , pay and walk to the beach. Parking even for guests is $10 per day

the rooms were good, bed was a little hard for my husband and I but other than that it was great for the rest of our family. the beach was right outside in the back of the hotel, and I loved that they had a wash station for us and the kids, and if the waves got too crazy for the little ones their pool was close and to the side with a bar, drinks for adults and children. we picked Double Tree because it wasn't too far from Texas State Aquarium which was great because after a long day there all you want to do is get to the hotel and relaxed, and if you didn't want to drive to get food there was a bar and restraint there for you as well, bonus for my family for all we wanted to do was not drive and just stay and enjoy, live music, nice people, great service, kids got a cookie when we arrived, view was amazing, defiantly room to set inside and out to enjoy peace or some sun. we will defiantly make Double Tree our first choice to stay when visiting Corpus Christy.

The beds were not comfortable for my husband and I but everyone else liked them. The beach when wanting to go into the water it had a big drop off and that was a little scary for me because my kids are small, there weren't any sets out there and It would have been great if they had that for the hotel instead of renting chairs.
