Situated in downtown, central to many interesting areas to see and visit. Also, located on the bay with a good eastern exposure to watch the sun rise over the bay and Gulf of Mexico. Good selection of restaurants nearby. Interesting areas to visit nearby are the Corpus Christi Aquarium and the a WWII aircraft carrier (the U.S.S. Lexington). Padre Island and Mustang Island beaches are a short drive away.

Was not informed on the website that the in house restaurant and room service facilities were closed due to ongoing renovation work. Another downside was the fact that there is a daily charge to park on site.

Hotel was great. Loved that we were right on the beach. Our room had a great view of the ocean. Room was clean pool area was nice. Maintenance was fast when we have an issue and very nice and polite. He tried everything he could to make the better for us. The beach is clean a lot of space for hotel guests to put up their canopies. Very convenient.

Parking really sucked. Half the parking lot is under construction and Connex containers were taking up way to many parking spots we paid money for. Ac in the room wasn’t the greatest. We had a maintenance man come look at it. He was super nice and did make the AC work a little bit better for us. We also had an emergency alarm go off at four in the morning, which wasn’t pleasant to wake up to.

This property is clearly one of the more historic properties on the beach, dating back a bit. We expected that it wouldn’t be the most of modern stays, and we were right. It’s very clean and a great value for the money. Plus: Bar on site, indoor pool, nice gift shop, walking distance to a few eateries, sites, food carts. Family fun around the facility. The staff is super friendly and amazing.

You pay for parking and there isn’t really anyone monitoring. So you drive around forever trying to park after getting a bite to eat or seeing the sites. Also, the pool area is very overcrowded and is a bit difficult to get into. Tons of people. I wondered who were guests and who weren’t. Also the gym could use a few free weights. The deposit is a big deal as I heard several complain about it. You literally pay as much as you do for the room stay. So literally paid a deposit of 200 for two rooms. A bit steep. Wondering how long it will take to get that back.

The check-in was quite easy and quick. I also found that the staff was very informative. it was a convenient location for us, because we were going to several of the places downtown. and the facility was easily accessible to the highway for our return trip.

if I was to find something wrong... it would not be with a facility or the staff. just some of the people who brought their pets... seemed a little callous and disrespectful of the other guess. they allowed their pets to bark and run around in the room banging on the walls. I see this is something the staff would not be able to control or the management.

Rooms are nice. Beds comfortable. If you have pets, cool since they let you have pets. If you have kids there is an indoor pool and some games. If you don’t have kids, the noise of pool side during summer might not be for you.

Not anywhere near being a resort. Been coming here for 10 years. We’ve seen the decline, then hurricane and now trying to refurbish since bought by someone else. Now have to pay parking, taxes, a resort fee. What might have been a good price now isn’t. The discolored tiles near restroom in lobby would be an easy repair. Spring break they wanted $207 a night without the extras. You can charge that when it’s all fixed. Parking lot in back fixed and restaurant functioning, bar in back ready for drinks. The city fixed part of the stairs in the back but huge step down to the sand, looking for an accident there. Saving grace is it’s right on the beach. Long way to go.

Well I've been to this hotel before and you really get your moneys worth. The location is beautiful and the restaurants near by are good. The lights went out at the hotel and thankfully the staff helped me the best they could to get a room as quickly and conveniently as possible. I wasn't even mad when the lights went out. I was just concerned about getting a room because of my baby. It took some time but they eventually got me a room. The staff is very nice. Great job!

Its not the hotels fault but more of a city thing with a lot of homeless people around and the streets are not the best.

Close to beach, comfortable bed and room was clean. Ac worked so good condensation built up on the floors. Patio door on premium bay front room leads to the beach, walking / scooter ride from parks and restaurants.

Parking situation was terrible due to the bar allowing anyone to park where premium rooms are located. Staff told me to drive around and park on old side of hotel where is tore apart under construction 😒 and carry my items to room. They give parking permits, but do not enforce it. Someone actually drove through the gate entry bar our second day, so not anyway to stop random people from parking in hotel spots. Restraunt food was terrible and a little pricey. Showed breakfast buffet options, but the actual dining area is shut down and no reasonable price on breakfast meals. Just go to I hop for much better options. The patio door does not lock from outside, so if you go to beach from Patio no way to secure your room.

All in all it was great .but the bar lady had an off day not very friendly no music .I stood there trying order food I new she was coming in n was trying to set up but could be bit more respectful I stood in front of her she gave me her back until I said ma'am n ask about the menu .but I still gave gave her a 10 dollars tip she can smile a bit more.

The room was excellent nice n clean front counter was very respectful n presented themselves in a professional manner.i come from the same industry n know how important it is so that we can have returning customers for years.

This hotel is my preferred hotel to stay in due to the location by the beach. It is the most convenient, and being able to bring my pet, makes it so much more enjoyable!!

I have been coming here for years, and the only thing that can be done is to upgrade rooms throughout the year. Since it is near the beach, the humidity, creates the rust and so forth. So upgrading tubs, sinks, leaks etc should be done regularly. Also the pillows were a little hard.

The location was beautiful. Easy access to the beach and iconic views. Short distance from the aquarium and other attractions. The hotel would give out complimentary lemonade. The hotel did have a lot of entertainment opportunities. The bar staff was amazing.

The rooms had no lights in the rooms aside from the bathroom. The rooms were basic in decor based on the price paid. The lighting around the hotel was gloomy though. One can understand why it’s expensive to stay there but you do expect a modern hotel look with a hefty price tag. You also have to pay parking and hotel accommodation fees apart from the room booking which was ridiculous given it’s already expensive. You are paying for location, nothing else.
