The room was very clean and it was a great stay. Not a noisy place at night, we were able to sleep peacefully. The shower had great pressure.

My only small complaint was that we rarely have cash on us and so we couldn't get any drinks at the hotel because it was cash only and there wasn't an ATM either.The area of the hotel was a little strange looking but it turned out just fine.

Great price-performance ratio. The location was complying: very close to the Amtrak station + walking accessible downtown. Moreover, we were allowed to check earlier!

I'm not a terribly picky traveler. If the room, towels, and sheets are clean, I'm usually good. My room met all those criteria and the AC functioned and wasn't loud. The bed was comfortable and the fridge and microwave were non problematic. We arrived after 11:00 PM but were promptly greeted and given the rundown of amenities and pertinent information. The location to downtown is excellent. In a pinch its within walking distance. For a small hotel, I appreciated the 7 or so free parking spots

I loved the free covered parking but you have to arrive early to snag a spot. While they were convenient, I didn't like that there were several bird nests underneath the covered parking in every corner and a couple in the middle. Birds are cool, but my vehicle is new to me and its black, so I like to keep it clean, especially without bird excrement.

We enjoyed our 3-night stay at La Hacienda Inn. Our room was very clean, quiet, spacious, and comfortable, The wifi worked well. We took advantage of the free parking provided immediately outside the hotel. And to avoid parking fees in the tourist areas, we used public transportation -- a 5-minute ride on a city bus, which costed $1.30 -- to get between the hotel and River Walk, Alamo, etc. (However, walking, perhaps 20-minutes by foot, would also have been a viable option.) The best part of our stay was the hotel's very reasonable price, especially compared to much higher priced options in the main tourist areas.

My husband and I had originally booked an Airbnb that we couldn't remain in due to plumbing issues. We had to think quickly and find us another place to stay while in San Antonio. This hotel had good reviews and at an affordable price for us. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and courteous. He was understanding to our needs and gave us a room on the first floor. The room was clean and comfortable. The only complaint that I have is the showerhead sprayed outside the shower, causing the floor to get wet on both sides of the tub. Overall, we were very satisfied with our room, the location, and the stay at the La Hacienda Inn.

Super cute motel with a fun Southwestern theme, comfy bed, solid amenities and a helpful staff...I was only there for a quick overnight, but it made me want to stay for longer! My train in was delayed 2+ hours so I arrived after midnight, but the front desk guy responded quickly to the after-hours buzzer and checked me in right away. Would gladly stay there again if I'm ever back in San Antonio! :)

The tile flooring in the bathroom/sink area was a bit slippery -- I stepped out of the shower with wet feet and almost lost my balance! Aside from that, no complaints :)

Clean, well maintained, nice staff, loved having an ice machine (a lifesaver in the San Antonio heat), beds were comfy and AC worked super well - another must have during the heat. Everything worked well.

It was a little further from the city center than I expected, and I didn't realize how tiring it would be to do the 20 minute walk in the heat. But if you have a rental car, or you go at a cooler time of the year this wont affect you.

This is an excellent place to stay at when visiting San Antonio. We were greeted by the most friendly staff which helped us with anything we needed from our laundry to getting water and coffee. The rooms are very clean, the come and tidy and change towels everyday. Internet is SUPER fast which was great given that we work while traveling. The area is a little out but it felt super safe. We had no trouble and it is an enjoyable walk to downtown even in the heath. We travelled by train so the position is also very convenient as its near the train station. I can recommend staying here if you visit San Antonio and want to enjoy the riverwalk, the alamo and downtown. Thanks for making our stay very nice.

Nothing everything was great

Great budget friendly place that was close enough to walk to everything! Seems to be a family run place with very kind and helpful man at the desk. I did ride the city bus a few times (convenient, and great way to save on Uber fees), and the stop was right next to the hotel. You can also walk to the Alamo and most tourist locations (maybe a 30 minute walk). If you are looking for the fancy, super central hotels, this is not for you. When travelling, I look for cheaper options that are within walking distance of most places I want to see. This place hit that mark perfectly! I stayed here 3 nights, and was very happy with my stay!
