My husband and I had originally booked an Airbnb that we couldn't remain in due to plumbing issues. We had to think quickly and find us another place to stay while in San Antonio. This hotel had good reviews and at an affordable price for us. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and courteous. He was understanding to our needs and gave us a room on the first floor. The room was clean and comfortable. The only complaint that I have is the showerhead sprayed outside the shower, causing the floor to get wet on both sides of the tub. Overall, we were very satisfied with our room, the location, and the stay at the La Hacienda Inn.

Clean, well maintained, nice staff, loved having an ice machine (a lifesaver in the San Antonio heat), beds were comfy and AC worked super well - another must have during the heat. Everything worked well.

It was a little further from the city center than I expected, and I didn't realize how tiring it would be to do the 20 minute walk in the heat. But if you have a rental car, or you go at a cooler time of the year this wont affect you.

This is an excellent place to stay at when visiting San Antonio. We were greeted by the most friendly staff which helped us with anything we needed from our laundry to getting water and coffee. The rooms are very clean, the come and tidy and change towels everyday. Internet is SUPER fast which was great given that we work while traveling. The area is a little out but it felt super safe. We had no trouble and it is an enjoyable walk to downtown even in the heath. We travelled by train so the position is also very convenient as its near the train station. I can recommend staying here if you visit San Antonio and want to enjoy the riverwalk, the alamo and downtown. Thanks for making our stay very nice.

Nothing everything was great

Great budget friendly place that was close enough to walk to everything! Seems to be a family run place with very kind and helpful man at the desk. I did ride the city bus a few times (convenient, and great way to save on Uber fees), and the stop was right next to the hotel. You can also walk to the Alamo and most tourist locations (maybe a 30 minute walk). If you are looking for the fancy, super central hotels, this is not for you. When travelling, I look for cheaper options that are within walking distance of most places I want to see. This place hit that mark perfectly! I stayed here 3 nights, and was very happy with my stay!

Second time here. Quick check-in, room was just a bit small but clean and comfortable, all amenities worked. Very comfortable bed, zero issues with noise as the neighborhood basically shuts down at night. Love the rustic vibe within the room. Very close to the Alamodome and downtown SA, so a good option if you like to walk back and forth. Do keep in mind that this is a no frills hotel. No elevator so be ready to carry luggage up and down, no breakfast, no pool. If this is what you are looking for, this is a really great choice.

Location is close driving distance to SAT Airport, Riverwalk and Frost Bank Center. There are a few local H-E-B grocery stores where we stocked up on bottled water and snacks. Hotel parking was free with a choice of covered or uncovered (first come, first served.) We stayed on the second floor and used the stairs. Note for guests with accessibility needs, there is no elevator. Our room was visually appealing, clean, great water pressure, hot water, and included plenty of towels and a few disposable makeup remover towels with aloe. We were grateful to have use of blackout curtain, a microwave, mini fridge and AC in our room. Plenty of hooks in the bathroom. We found hangers, ironing board and iron, and a luggage stand in the closet behind the door. Housekeeping cleaned our room on the 2nd day and did a wonderful job. At night, the doors are locked and you can't get in without your key card. If you order Doordash at night be mindful to meet your driver outside. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would stay here again. THANK YOU!

Not necessarily a dislike, but contradictory. I was told there is no smoking on the property, but there was indeed a designated smoking area labeled outside in the parking lot. I used my vape in the designated area without any issues.

Quick check-in, very helpful front desk personnel. Room was of the expected size, really enjoyed the rustic decor and feel to the whole building and the individual room. Firm bed, comfortable AC, no issues with bathroom, cleanliness or WiFi. Location is less than a 5 minute drive from the riverwalk, public bus can be boarded across the street. You could definitely walk to the Alamodome if needed. All in all a great option very close to downtown.

Be aware that there is no breakfast, public lobbies or any other frills like pool, gym, etc. I did not need them and thus this was a perfect option for my trip, your needs may be different. The area surrounding the hotel feels a bit on the unsafe side at night. We had zero issues though, just an overall observation.

The staff were nice and parking was right on the property. A few covered spaces. The hotel was clean and quiet. It did not allow smoking or pets which was good for us. It was about 15 min walk to the Riverwalk. The bus line has a route on the hotel street.

The hotel was located in a sketchy area. We did not feel unsafe during the day but I would not walk at night. Probably Uber in or out. Some people randomly sleeping on the sidewalk or aimlessly walking around muttering on your walk to the Riverwalk area. However, there was nobody around the hotel. It can be a shock if you are not accustomed to city walking.

I like that how close it was to the convention center. Me and my bf were going to a convention that weekend and it was easy to just get an Uber to the convention and leave the vehicle at the hotel without struggling for parking. I loved how clean and comfortable that rooms are. The furniture is outdated but it add to the certain style the building has.

The only issue is the water pressure of the shower. That seriously sucked. It never felt like we were fully clean even after showering because the pressure was equal to a light drizzle.

Very friendly check in. Was shocked how large the room was..I stayed in room 200 and found it to be very quiet, comfortable and amazing value for the price. Were very accommodating holding my luggage all day after I checked out until my next place was free I was staying 16th friends. Very clean.. bed was very comfortable ac the air conditioning worked great! Very greatly I found such an affordable place here in San Antonio!

There is no elevator so if you're not able to lift heavy luggage on your own would be the only reason I wouldn't stay here.
