Within 10 minutes of Frost Bank Center. Satisfactory price. Friendly staff and hotel was clean. Shower had bar to help yourself in and out of the tub. Better than average complimentary breakfast. No charge for parking and no deposit required. Drop off door cards for easy and fast exit.

Neighborhood wasn't the best, not terrible but not great. Parking kinda tight and limited. Toilet sits kinda low but I know some people will have little ones.

Location was awesome (we walked to the Riverwalk and back), free parking was a great perk, free breakfast had hot and cold items and the room was spacious and very clean. I really appreciate that the room included a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker!

It seemed that the AC wasn't functioning very well, the room got cold but it was still humid which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable.

Very nice and clean areas. Hotel looked fairly new. Rooms were very comfortable.

The staff that received was very rude at all times. He seemed to always be upset at something and had a horrible attitude. The pool was a little dirty with debris or rocks at the bottom. The bathtub in room 312 is a little funky. Seems to be patched up, but it definitely feels like if you are going to fall through a hole when showering. Not sure if this is new or not. I don't travel much, but there was no Bible in the room. That was a shocker to me.

Very close proximity to the Alamo Dome, a quick, safe walk which is perfect for attending sporting events and concerts. It’s also near the San Antonio railroad station. Parking was fenced in which was a plus and no extra charge. Facility was clean and neat, breakfast was typical but neatly presented.

This hotel had a shuttle to downtown San Antonio in the past, but they have discontinued the service. So you have to either drive and find a place to park downtown or take a bus/taxi to go to the riverwalk. If the site had indicated that the shuttle was no longer available, I wouldn't have booked the room. Also, there is only 1 elevator, and the hotel has 4 floors, so when they are busy, you might have to wait a while on the elevator.

definitely the location. very close to the AT&T center and river walk is a couple of blocks away. it felt safe and comfortable and it was clean. the bed and pillows were comfortable. I wish they had complimentary water like most hotels do but they did have a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. great for a one night trip!

the layout of the bathroom. Its not spacious at all and only one person at a time can be in there. they definitely tried to use every sq inch. the toilet is literally an inch away from the vanity and the door almost touches the vanity when you close it. the bathtub is nice and the rest of the room is spacious, but I just didn’t like the bathroom layout.

We rode the Amtrak train to San Antonio for vacation. It was on our to do list. The hotel was 1 block from the train station. It was also walking distance of about 7 blocks to the River Walk. The staff was attentive. The breakfast was excellent. The entrance was clean and so was our room. We will be back, again. Thanks for the comfort!!!

I can't say enough good thing about Holiday Inn Expresss Hotel. During our trip to Texas, we stayed at 3 different locations and liked them all. Everything was well-thought from the chexk-in, check-out process (believe or not, it took us less than a minutes!) to the little things like a note. Rooms were very clean and had everything we needed: microwave, fridge, coffee maker, iron and board... Staffs were very friendly and helpful. .. I can go on and on and on and on but try them by youself on your next trip, you'll be glad you did. BTW, the complimentary breakfast was excellent! I make me want to come staying at the hotel just for it I hope my review helps others as previous reviews helped me. Happy travel everyone!
