I was very satisfied with the Aiden Best Western San Antonio Riverwalk. This hotel has a special vibe that i have never experienced anywhere else. From the moment we checked in, we received exemplary service. The staff was excellent, they each seemed to be happy that you were staying there. Cleanliness is always something that impresses me, and Aiden did not disappoint. The beds were so so comfortable, I truly did not want to get out of bed in the mornings. I must say, Aiden far exceeded my expectations, and i will return soon!

I don't really have anything that i was dissatisfied with, but if i must pick something, the bath towels were a bit rough. No worries, next time i'll just bring my own.

Property was clean location was excellent for our event.

This is may not be the hotel’s concern, but booking.com gave us a low rate for the first night but the hotel explained the reason for the higher second night was on booking.com the night manager AJ was a little rude but when we decided to continue with our stay for the second night like we say (cambio cassette 😀) The hotel parking was all valet. There is a lot of public parking I guess the guest have to be inconvenienced for the public parking on the hotel’s parking!

I liked the atmosphere, valet employees, and the location. The renovation and uniqueness of the hotel is great, the valet employees (contractors) are warm and friendly, the location is good, but closeness to a homeless shelter is not ideal.

The lack of how to get to attractions, valet parking but I understand, the morning front desk staff. More information on how to utilize electric scooters/bicycles to get to the riverwalk would have been great, I understand why you have valet parking, but the ability to walk to your car does not seem value friendly, the morning staff seemed unapproachable. Also, there were children either above or next to us that were stomping and running early in the morning.

Absolutely loved it! I checked in with Kristan and got an amazingly warm welcome and wonderful recommendations on places to eat and sights to see! We had great conversations and all the other staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming too. They even adviced against one of the tours I wanted to take, giving me a little breakdown of how I'd be saving money if I went to those places on my own. I very much appreciated that! The location is great, just at the edge of downtown so there's not a lot of noise but it's still close enough to walk to the main attractions like the Riverwalk, the Mall, Tower of Americas and so much more. I never took an Uber or public transportation since everything is within a 10 minute walk from the hotel, apart from coming back at night but that was my personal preference. The room was clean, comfortable and big. I actually couldn't get pictures to show everything because of how spacious it was! I honestly think this was my favourite hotel to stay at out of five during my two week vacation. I felt very much at home and wished I could've stayed longer. I'll definitely be coming back if I'm in San Antonio again and would recommend it to everyone!

Either the walls are thin or one of my neighbours had a very good and very loud time together aka I heard them during their nightly activities. I woke up during the night and could hear almost everything, I didn't really care much because I sleep with music anyway but that could put people off. Most of the time I was out the whole day and the bar was usually closed when I came back after 11pm (during the week) which was a bummer for me. The WiFi wasn't that good so during calls/video calls I'd have to turn it off since my phone reception was better. If you want housekeeping service you have to request it, which wasn't an issue for me since I didn't need it. For me personally, the bed was a little on the harder side.

We stayed here since we were going to an event at Rock Box/Vibes. It was literally like a 5 minute walk to the venue and even at night felt safe walking since it was close (only about 2 blocks away). The Alamo Dome is also nearby so would be a short walk there as well. For the value of the hotel compared to other hotels in the area this was a no-brainer. Was affordable and luxurious. Location was excellent, very close to some cool restaurants and bars literally within the same block so you can walk. Hotel also had a very charming and boutique vibe to it everything was very clean and very nice overall.

TV didn't get very loud, was trying to watch a movie and the volume was barely a whisper. In addition to this the TV was placed away from the TV which was strange so you had to watch at an angle instead of just looking straight from the bed. Also had trouble with the TV menu going off so I couldn't change channel - obviously all very minor annoyances. Valet parks your car in the parking lot literally steps away. Seems a little silly to have a valet just let us park in the lot of the building.

Exceptionally clean, plus the staff at the front was very helpful. Amazing valet personnel.

Not being able to get to the speakeasy area due to minors with me. Would have loved to have shown them the area at an earlier (before drinks bar open etc) time- family friendly. But to no fault of the hotel. Ii can't say a single negative comment, everything was on point.

The hotel had a wonderful upscale vibe, very modern and super clean. As soon as you walked in the entire hotel smelled good. We needed extra roll of bathroom tissue and it was brought to our room in less than 10 minutes. Check-in and check-out was super easy.

It was nothing against the hotel, but we were on the first floor and we could hear all the cars fast and slow. It died down the later the evening got.

I LOVED how spacious the room was, how clean and new everything looked. Every staff member I talked to from the valet at the door to the housekeeping staff I passed in the hallway to the barista at the cafe before I checked out were so friendly and quick to initiate random conversations that they seemed actually interested in. Every moment was so great I couldn’t believe I’d gotten that hotel for the price I did. I even think the shampoo and conditioner might be my favorite I’ve gotten at a non-resort hotel. I’ve already told my friends and family to keep an eye out if they’re in town or if they’re near another location, and I’ll CERTAINLY be back!

The only thing I had, and it really was a personal thing, was that I couldn’t figure out how to use the overhead shower head (there were two; the overhead and the handheld) and that the water didn’t get truly HOT. But that was the only singular issue I had.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I was there for a show at the Alamodome -- VERY convenient location. As a solo traveler I felt safe walking to and from there. Once the bar in the hotel is open, you have to have a room key to access the accommodations past the lobby which I appreciated. They have a very cute cafe area to grab a snack or work in. Easy check in and check out. Would stay here again!

The staff was friendly and would any questions I had about the hotel or how to get to certain places. The room is very spacious and clean. Everything looks new. The staff cleans the rooms everyday which is unusually these days. The location was great also. Had a wonderful time.
