The place was very nice , I felt very comfortable, the staff really made me feel important. Valet was amazing and very respectful. Staff was always helpful always respectful. The place has everything you need to be comfortable, library,gym, pool, restaurant,bar, it’s perfect even for a weekend get away for a local. I did have an encounter with a spirit while I was there 3/22/24-3/24/24 was a bit scary but nothing crazy. I will definitely be going back and getting rooms for my family in the future.

Well, I was a housekeeper for a couple years, I know what a clean room looks like, in the room I had… everything looked so clean and perfect, I couldn’t complain, until I looked under the bed😄 there was a sock under there that wasn’t mine, also the carpet felt wet.

It was a beautiful hotel with really nice staff. Especially the cleaning staff and front desk and bar. The room we got 1209 was beautiful, with huge windows and beautiful view! The gym had everything you needed. Used it twice and has a Peloton! Came during Fiesta so the top of the building lit up in different colors!

The bed was uncomfortable and leaned to one side. (Only the one by the window), my kid's mattress was good. Sometimes the lamp would go out in the room and every once in a while the elevator would stop on random floors (the lights on the elevator buttons would be selected and then just "reset")

Beautiful old hotel friendly and helpful staff location was great .

The hotel restaurant was sub par for the type of establishment. We ate dinner at the Oro restaurant inside the hotel . The firecracker shrimp was a frozen product with a bottled sauce wings were lack luster for the price you would expect better . We decided to give it another chance for breakfast 22 dollars per person for greasy bacon rubbery sausage and instant oatmeal . However the waitstaff were super friendly. They should look at finding an executive chef that actually cares . We stay Hilton often and have never experienced such a lazy meal preparation at any of the other hotels outside the rest of the stay was as expected . I would recommend you stay there just don’t eat there .

Great location. Just off the riverwalk and still in walking distance of shops and restaurants.

I purchased breakfast included using booking.com, but when I got to the hotel they said it was not in the hotel stay. I checked booking.com receipt and it didn’t state breakfast, but when I booked the stay, I chose the higher price which stated it included the breakfast. So I had to pay out of pocket for our breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant.

The location was great, the room was very nice, the beds were confortable. It was a great room, especially for an older building.

The divider seperating the room from the bathroom was not great, staying with our son made it a little unusual with a glass door. Changing the glass to something non-transparent would make it great. If we were staying longer this would have been more inconvenient.

Great location across the street from the Alamo and walking distance to the River Walk, Tower of the Americas, and numerous excellent restaurants. No need for a rental car. The property has been nicely remodeled and the rooms are clean, the bathroom spacious, and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed the room!

These rooms do not have refrigerators or microwaves. A property of this class should have small refrigerators installed. This is the first place we've stayed at in years that has not had a refrigerator. We had to make a lot of trips to the ice machines (not located on every floor....another miss) and couldn't wake up to a cold drink in the morning. Microwaves are a bit of a luxury but refrigerators for multiple day stays are a must.

It was located in the middle of San Antonio. The river walk, the mall, and the Alamo right there. The architecture and convenience of the surrounding shops and eateries was also a nice touch. They do offer ghost tours as it is the 3rd most haunted hotel in the United States.

Seemed to be under construction in some parts. A heads up would have been nice. Though nothing was going on due to it being the weekend.

When I walked to the room, my heart sank because it was right next to the elevators. BUT the way the elevator area is enclosed sort of was a bonus. It was so quiet + SO super close to the alamo + river walk! Safe area, too!

I honestly can't think of anything I didn't like. I loved how free street parking was so close.

conveniently located literally right across the street from the Alamo and not very far from the Riverwalk once you figure out where everything is. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was nice and clean. The hotel is run like a well oiled machine with everybody doing their job, the complementary breakfast Buffet was nice. The gym had new equipment and was clean and included a peloton bike, which I really enjoyed. The valet parking for $47 a night was a better option than the public parking lot that’s $30 a night with no In-N-Out privileges.

The pool was on the smaller side, but I’m not on vacation to swim in a pool that much.
