Liked the room size, breakfast, pool area. Staff was cheerful and helpful.

Didn't like that air came from one large vent so when you stood in a particular part of the room, which just happened to be while sitting at the table, you were blasted with air. Would have preferred the bathroom around the corner from the bed as the light automatically comes on when you enter and disrupts sleep for your partner. A bathmat for the tub and dish washing liquid would have been a nice touch. There was dishwasher detergent, but we didn't use enough dishes to warrant running it.

It was within walking distance to the Alamo, Riverwalk and other restaurants and bars. The hotel was central for everything going on for the Fiesta. We had a room with a bed-settee, that my son used. It was good you could shut the bedroom door to make it more private from the living area. The bed itself was very comfortable. There was a small kitchen area if you chose to cook. We never used it so I can’t comment on how things worked. Breakfast was plentiful in the morning. The pancakes were delicious. Although the pool area was small. We always managed to find a seat to chill for an hour. I found the reception staff pleasant and helpful.

The air con was super loud. Breakfast finished at 9am on weekdays. It made all the difference when it was open until 9.30 weekends.

It was close to everything Alamo, Riverwalk and the mall with shops and restaurants

You had to valet park I was not informed of that and the construction going on in the hotel, and a day without water from 11-3

The room was clean and very well equipped, and having the separate living area made it very comfortable. The included breakfast was really good with lots of options to choose from. The pool was a nice way to relax at the end of the day. Having laundry facilities was very handy to have mid trip. Location was great for exploring the city centre.

There were some maintenance issues in our room-dishwasher needed a good clean due to hard water buildup and the shower didn't work well-faucet coming away from wall and you could only choose hot or cold water as the tap didn't work properly. The breakfast time starting later on the weekend meant we had to miss it, which was annoying. I didn't have a car but I wouldn't have stayed there if I did as paying $40 to valet park in the hotels own parking garage is insane. Sometimes there were so many people arriving that the street outside was blocked because everyone had to unpack at the entrance so the car could be valet parked.

After the second night, we asked for more face cloth and towels, which took over an hour to get, and we had to be somewhere,.,called down to the front desk 3 times and even asked if we could go pick them up ourselves…nope Also, it is only valet parking at an extra $45 nightly! This was not clear when booking stay.

I loved the price of the room and the outline of the rooms. The breakfast was better than other hotels. The rooms were clean.

Being my first time here I did not know that there was a charge for parking, the staff told my husband 40 but then went up to 50 because our truck size. The staff was approachable at first, but the minute I asked questions or came up to the front desk regarding TV not working in the room, the employee let me know that they do not have maintenance at night and all they could do was give us a new room if security could not fix it. But it was unapologetically said. I told her that's not what I paid for or what was shown online so yes I would like a new room. But, before security could go and fix it. My husband was able to figure it out,

The location is fantastic, just a few mins walk to the Alamo and few more to the Riverwalk. With it being a few streets away from the bars/restaurants the location was quiet which was great. I travelled alone but booked a 1 bedroom suite and was not disappointed. Kitchen facilities were ample and the living space was more than enough. The bedroom was a decent size and i found the bed super comfortable so got 2 really good nights sleep. Breakfast was included in my rate and hit the spot! The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would absolutely stay here again on a return trip!

Im an early riser usually but breakfast stopping at 9am would be a bother if i wasnt! On my 2nd morning, there was obviously an issue in the kitchen and the buffet was served upstairs but had to be brought downstairs to eat. I must have missed the signs advising this as i had to ask anothet guest where to go. Minor gripe though and not really an issue in the grand scheme of things!

Our room was huge. The staff was all so very nice. It was within 5 minutes of the riverwalk. We went to the riverwalk many times during our stay. We also visited Mission San Juan, the San Antonio zoo, and the Japanese gardens. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again one day soon! We definitely recommend the Sonesta ES suites!

Our hot water stopped working on the second day we were there. However, we were ever hardly in our room so we just pushed through. The only other thing was there was no free parking around. It cost $40 a night to valet park at the hotel. I would say it was worth it. They bring you your car anytime you need it you just text the number provided.

It is well located, can drive up easily and walk to the major atractions.

We found some leftover staff under the bed (gummy bear) and some old bakings next to the table, but well, it isn’t Four Seasons. As for the parking - it is expensive valey and don’t even bother to try finding other public parking lots nearby, they all are approx the same price but you face the evacuator if forgetting to top up. I found by luck that the street right next to the hotel (4th street) has a stree parking with free parking from 6pm to 8am and for the whole day afterwards costs 3$. If you arrive midday, then there definately will be spots available

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay feel like home. My family and I were in town for our daughter’s Graduation at Lackland Airforce Base. Any questions about San Antonio they were very helpful and accommodating. We arrived early and the check in process for early check in was easy going considering we had very early mornings for both the ceremony and graduation days. Definitely recommend this hotel. It’s a five minute walk to the River walk with multiple restaurants and etc.
