The location of the hotel was great! So close to everything at a walking distance. The facility was very fancy and nice. The view on the 21st floor was very nice!

The only negative commodity was that the room was not cleaned properly or checked before assigning it to someone. There was blood splattered on the side of the bathroom wall, there was an eyelash piece on the sink, and boogers on the bathroom door. These are very minor , but very gross. I could have complained and asked for the room to be recleaned, or asked for another room, but didn’t.

The location was great; however, there was an AC problem. The manager was great with trying to rectify the situation. We do appreciate his promptness and concern about the guest at this hotel. The staff is so helpful. The manager is very professional and trustworthy. He did just what he promised ( to take care of the AC unit). Because of the manner in which the manager and staff took care of the business at hand, I will book again at this hotel. This is a clean hotel and I am OCD.

There was nothing that I didn't like. AC units are machines and they do break, but it was rectified. I would suggest that they change the beds in the handicap accessible rooms. The beds are short for a tall person, a little hard and little too low to the floor.

Breakfast was awesome! Thelma and the whole breakfast crew took very good care of us. We asked for salsa instead of hot sauce for our omelette and they sent someone to second floor for the salsa to accommodate us. The omelette chef is amazing. She cooked the omelettes just perfectly to our liking. The entire staff from the time we walked in the door was very polite and accommodating. We will be recommending this location to our family and friends traveling to San Antonio.

Marriott is ideal located within walking distance to all major San Antonio attractions. (Alamo, Tower of Americas, Riverwalk). Hotel is of high quality and excellent amenities. Marriott also provided two River boat tickets which was unexpected.

Only complaint is the rain shower water heads which give lackluster water pressure.

Quiet rooms great location staff was excellent.

Room wasn't cool enough and I self parked and had issues coming and going 2 days and I had to pay 80 something dollars because the room card didn't work right then coming back in didn't get a ticket thank goodness my room card worked the third day. And couldn't find a bottle water after the cafe coffee shop closed

Parked in the garage and the location was perfect to access the riverwalk. The restaurant area was absolutely amazing, our waiter along with the bar manager made sure my son and I had everything we needed followed up accordingly and tied the entire experience up to be amazing...thank you!!

The pastry area has great snacks but unfortunately the morning we were leaving my son and I went down for coffee and were not greeted as kindly. I know it was indeed early in the morning but that did tweak it a bit for us towards the end of our trip.

Ambience inside the hotel was beautiful.

The garage smelled like urine and feces offensively. The pavement was sticky. It was how I entered the hotel so I was thinking it was about to be terrible mess indoors but once we held our breath through the garage and the garage elevator, we were pleasantly surprised. The fragrance over a couple of days grew overpowering though. If I stayed just in the lobby area, I would get a headache from the constant aromatherapy smell.

location is excellent (riverwalk, restaurants, lego and sealife inside shopping mall), staff super helpful, elevators are amazing and work really, tons of options from the cafeteria and bar.

valet is slow, checkin and checkout even slower (system super confusing eg $120 deposit had to run 3 cards and still the numbers did not match what I have paid on booking). frustrating part... Swimming pool below average for a hotel of that caliber

I loved the location and the complimentary items like free drinks and tickets to the boat ride that came with the hotel. Lots of restaurants and the mall within walking distance! Great gym and indoor pool.

WiFi was $15 a day. Parking was $45 a day

Location, staff were friendly, nice room.

I wish they had a designated check out area. We had to wait about 8 minutes while someone checking in had some issues or something, wasn’t trying to really listen. It just would’ve been nice to be able to drop off the room keys and go.
