We did not request a quiet room ( reference Bonus Question ), instead I requested a room that could accommodate my handicap wife. The parking for the switched room could not have been closer, so very happy about the close parking. The excellent breakfast, which the staff brought to our room, was excellent, and that breakfast experience won my wife over to liking the Bed & Breakfast at White Rock Creek. We would definitely stay at the Bed & Breakfast again in the future, if we ever head that direction again.

The shower curtain should be replaced, and some texturing of a wall and painting is needed to spruce of the place - "The Gardens" suite. The wall needing painting was located near the luggage stand, so it is understandable that this area might be a place where un-attentive customers toss their luggage. Unfortunately, we did not see the White Rock for which the creek is famous. : ) We would definitely stay at the Bed & Breakfast at White Rock Creek in the future; the room service & breakfast were excellent.

The breakfast was great with waffles, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, yogurt with granola, fresh fruit, & juice - delicious! Our room was upgraded for free to accommodate my disability allowing to park within feet of our door. The Homestead Heritage Center is only 3.5 miles down the road from our B&B! We didn’t really plan on going there but was suggested by the owners & was a hidden treasure of handmade pottery, leather goods, wood working & furniture, a griss mill grinding wheat & flour, a blacksmith shop, basket weaving, quilt shop, & looms to weave clothing, and classes for the public to make their own hand made creations! There is also an amazing Homestead Cafe with great food.

Clean, comfortable, and spacious quarters. The cathedral ceiling made it feel even more spacious in addition to complimenting the four-poster bed beautifully. Nothing felt either crowded or overly secluded at the physical location. Very easy access to downtown (or to the Silos) while still being in a wooded large lot subdivision area near the Mammoth Site National Monument. The quarters were not overly ostentatious nor were they spartan by any means. It was a very nice, welcoming, and comfortable balance. There was a giant chair that could fit two with a matching ottoman for watching TV. Wi-Fi was very quick. There was a four-poster with comfy bedding. There was a choice of a jetted tub or a nice standup shower. The A/C worked like a champion. Great covered porch with seating for mornings or afternoon. Nice table for two by window with a pretty view which is nice for visiting, light meals, and for laptop time. The artwork was well chosen. The lighting in the quarters was very good whether taking advantage of natural lighting or internal fixtures. While I traveled solo, this could be an ideal sanity retreat for couples as well. The hosts were really very pleasant. The American breakfast was just right.

I had no issues with the stay. They covered all the check marks on my "good to go" list.

The Jacuzzi tub was awesome and the bed was the most comfortable bed we didn't want to get out of it. And the breakfast was so delicious. She was a great cook. Very quiet. The air conditioner worked very well. My husband made sure of that. Haha he loves the cold. Also dining out was not to far just 10 minutes up the road to a great restaurant on the Brazos River was beautiful also. We're definitely going back soon. And I can't wait. Wish we could have stayed more than one night.

The water in the tub was extremely hot. Even with the cold on and the hot water off. The cold water wasn't cold it was actually very warm. I believe it could have possibly had a mixing valve on it. Also the driveway was a bit rough on our small BMW. It was not paved. It was a bit heavy gravel. But nothing major.

I bought this trip as a gift to my wife and she has wanted to visit Waco for years. After reading positive reviews on this property I decided to book with them and we were not disappointed. The property was beautiful, clean, and relaxing. Honestly my wife and I felt the peace of God there during our stay! The hosts Dana and Retha were absolutely amazing! Wonderful conversations with them both and we learned so much about the area. Dana was a wealth of knowledge with recommendations and directions to key places to visit. Retha prepared wonderful meals for breakfast! Her french toast is a must try! If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in the Waco area, I highly recommend the Bed and Breakfast on White Rock Creek!

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at B&B on White Rock Creek. The place is beautiful! We loved the room, we stayed in the purple room- our favorite color! The property is lovely and kept. The breakfast was terrific and the eating area is just gorgeous. The owners Dana and Retha (I hope I spelled it correctly) are wonderful people. They make you feel at home! We will most definitely go back to visit.

The inn keepers were personable and wonderful. They made an amazing breakfast! We had fresh fruit stuffed French Toast, a waffle, scrambled eggs, bacon, juice and yogurt with granola! Wow! The suite was very comfortable and roomy. The Mrs. carried our luggage up the stairs because we were hot and tired! She is a doll and so sweet! We had a great experience!

No complaints, the gravel road had some holes in it from the rain but we loved our accommodations and the inn keepers.

Breakfast was amazing! They asked us at check-in what items we would like to have for Breakfast. We requested eggs, bacon, & French toast. The next morning we were asked how we wanted our eggs prepared! We chose cheese omelets and also had crispy bacon and yummy French toast along with fresh fruit and coffee and juice. It was a wonderful breakfast prepared just for us.

We liked everything. It was a great stay.

We enjoyed staying two nights at the White Rock Creek B&B very much! Dana and Retha, our hosts, were very friendly and helpful in answering questions and providing info about their B&B as well as the town of Waco, which was about ten minutes away. The room selected for us, the Garden Suite, was perfect for the two of us! Also the breakfast provided each morning was prepared and served in the main house and was perfect!

Fantastic experience here. It is just far enough outside of town to give you that secluded woods feel. Close to the homestead and also close to the silos. Retha and Dana were incredibly friendly. They upgraded our room at no additional charge just because they wanted to out of their kindness. Breakfast was great. Get the French toast! I got up early and walk the property and ended up having a long conversation with Dana on the history of the property, family, and it was a great conversation. You absolutely must stay here rather than trying to find something in town or something you even further away. Can't say enough about the experience. Will absolutely stay there again on my next trip through texas.
