A fine example of what a hotel and service should be --- Kazimar, at the front desk, checked us in and readily helped to sort out a billing question. The hotel itself from its grand lobby to our room was spotless, and with no whiff of the awful "perfumed cleaners" that many places use to make you think they cleaned. Thank goodness. Our suite was spacious, bright and on the back side of the hotel which was quiet and had nice views of the mountains. Even the parking garage was a pleasure to use. It was VERY well lit and VERY clean; unlike many parking garages it actually felt safe to me. A number of restaurants are in walking distance in the downtown area. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this establishment.

Can't think of a single thing not to like.

The room was comfortable, beautiful decor, food was nice.

I didn’t think the front desk staff were helpful. I checked in and wasn’t given any information at all. We weren’t told about breakfast, tea reservations, or where anything was located. It was an opportunity for her to upsell us on activities we might be interested in. But I found her rather cold and unfriendly. She handed the keys over and that was it. I’m unsure of the location in SLC as I’m unfamiliar with the area. But we walked to dinner and the city was a little seedy with graffiti and broken concrete sidewalk. Seemed a little sad.

Wow, it was beautiful and not what I expected, it exceeded all of my ideas of what I thought it was. The property is gorgeous. The pastries at the coffee shop was amazing, try the apple turnover!!

The service at the 21 and over bar was very very slow. The service at the main lobby bar was also slow. They seemed to be understaffed. The food we ordered came 40 minutes after we ordered, and that was just a charcuterie board. Once it came, we asked for some extra sesame chips, never got them. Had to chase down the waiter to get our bill. The main restaurant Laurel, was wonderful, a bit pricey, but good service and good food. Besides that, the room and view were wonderful.

Loved the in room dining, amazing food! Absolutely amazing soaking tub as well! Blackout curtains were great. The courtyard is gorgeous as well!!

The AC did not work the best, also all the fees that were added for about almost everything! Usually we stay at Little America across the street and their luxury suites are alot nicer than the Executive King Suite we got here and at a fraction of the cost. Feels a lot more welcoming there as well. Was nice to try this hotel out but will probably stick with Little America for our next stay in SLC.

I came with my bestie to celebrate my birthday, first of all there was cake and a letter waiting for me in the room. The room was so beautiful, extremely large. Every time we ordered room service it arrived with in minutes, very fast. The indoor pool area was nice and relaxing, the lobby and garden beautiful as well. I wish we had more time there. We loved it and would love to be back

Maybe The only thing is the out door pool was very crowded and could’ve been more organized

Concierge was warm, promt, and efficient both coming and going. Room cleanliness and appointment was expectedly impressive; nobody builds hotels like this anymore.Christmas! The Christmas displays were a real treat!

The parking garage seem poorly laid out relative to other (newer) underground structures. We watched several other larger vehicles struggling to make turns around narrow corners, and our own sedan-sized car also had trouble getting into parking stalls. We then also had touble getting out of our car because the stalls are so narrow.

This was the best hotel by far which we stayed at during our three week trip to the States. We had a very large comfortable room with a good view over the city and the extensive communal areas were very well maintained, including an excellent outside pool area. The food and service in the main hotel were both good.

Nothing much - the restaurant could have had a bit more ambience, being a little cafe like in appearance, but not a problem for us.

This is definitely THE place to stay in Salt Lake City - their attention to service is impeccable. What impressed us the most were the size and amenities of the room, from the furnishings to the large bathrooms, separate toilet rooms, to the ample plush towels provided. And there is very good insulation from overall noises; you just don't hear any street traffic. Also, their restaurant, café and bar prices were quite reasonable, considering the downtown location, outstanding service, and the top ranking of the hotel. Fast internet connections.

Granted, parking costs extra, but we were able to snag a discounted room rate, so we didn't mind too much. Signage could be improved in the garage itself, though (from some vantage points, you cannot see any entry to the hotel whatsoever).

This is a beautiful hotel within walking distance of the tram as well as restaurants, etc. We loved the outdoor pool- beautiful landscaping & poolside food and drink. We felt like we were in Vegas lounging at the pool. Our suite was large with a luxurious bath. I feel like our stay at a place like this would've cost much more in other cities.

Parking should be free for guests, in my opinion. It was $24 overnight.

A bit disappointed by the staff at the Laurel Bar. My wife and I stay at the Grand America or Little America once or twice a year. For the past two years the staff at the bar have performed very poor. It is clear they do not night like their jobs. They are quite unattentive and not friendly. I feel they would rather be anywhere except serving customers. Less important to me than their attitude, but my wife's wine glass was empty for 10 - 15 minutes without notice. I finally had to flag one of them down for a refill. By contrast, Phuong at The Coffee Shop in Little America has been consistently wonderful, and an absolute joy to see mornings for breakfast.
