The Lake Bomoseen Lodge is located on a beautiful large piece of property on a gorgeous Vermont lake. Many of the rooms have views (we could see the lake from bed when we woke in the morning.) Staff are friendly and helpful. Also the other guests are very friendly. There is great lake access. The restaurant is very nice -- good food and drink, interesting menu, great lake views, friendly and fast service. There was a wedding party there. The location looks really perfect for weddings and other large events. The people we met from the wedding party were really happy with the venue.

The stairs going down to the swimming area weren't kept fee of algae and so were as slippery as ice. Some kind of non-slip surface is needed.

Bathroom was very nice. Love the walk-in shower. Room was clean and and welcoming.

Did not like that there was no table per se in between the beds. There was a wooden box nailed to the wall that held the phone and a lamp but there was no place to put drinks or other items that you might want by your bedside at night. We ended up moving our cooler in between our beds to use that.

Beautiful location and amenities! New pool, pickleball and volleyball courts! The staff were so helpful with a late check in and early check out. I accidentally left my diamond earrings in the room and they were quick to go get them and held them at the desk until I was able to come pick them up.

Clean and comfy. Stayed in one bedroom condo fully stocked. Staff was very pleasant On-site food is ok could be better Staff was very nice when I picked up our food

Parking on a busy pub night. All parking is up for grabs, even all the spots in front of our condo area. Makes it inconvenient, especially in stormy weather when you need to hike to your room that has parking right outside the door.

Breakfast was very basic - cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea, hot chocolate. That was fine for me. We had room 103 which was in a building right next to the water. Area where we could sit outside our room. Kayaks to use, swimming pool, bar/restaurant right there. Great hiking trails nearby.

Nothing the staff could do but the weather was not good so we could not make full use of the facilities. Ended up having to go to Middlebury to visit a couple of museums.

The room was beautiful and well kept, a really wonderful experience for the small price we paid to stay there!

The bathroom window was perhaps not as well insulated as the rest of the room and seeing as we were staying there during a winter storm we could feel a draft coming in. That being said, nothing keeping the door to the bathroom closed didn’t 100% fix for the rest of the room!!!

The lakefront room was beautiful, large, clean & comfortable. The heater in the spacious bathroom was a fantastic addition. The food at the taproom was fantastic and I highly recommend it. The bed & pillows were soft and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and courteous

Reception didn't work in the room (not the property's fault at all) but since I was in town for surgery on my dog, not having my cell phone work at a moment's notice was a bit of a hiccup. The location of power outlets in the room is sporadic

Restaurant/bar closed at 10p on a Saturday night. Rooms are pricey but only option in the area.

Great for families or for couples with many lake activities: kayaking, paddle boarding, slips for your boat, to trampoline floating dock. There is also a pool on the property. Continental breakfast is in the welcome building. Restaurant -Tap Room is a right on the property as well. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Can’t beat the location!

We could hear the room above us walk around (wasn’t sound proof). We had a corner room by the stairs and bags of hotel laundry was left by the stairs.

I just needed a place to crash for a night and this place worked out great. The price was great and everything about it was so great that I wished that I could have stayed longer to enjoy it more.

maybe the coffee (?)...it is Vermont afterall...so coffee standards are pretty high
