Superb location walking distance to everything., Excellent Staff, very friendly helpful. Room was very clean, modern and comfortable for both sleep and relax - the Air conditioner worked great !!

The fridge was NOT for consumers, it was one of those 'do not touch' with the fixed stuff in it, which you could not remove to use for personal use - very outdated !! No coffee machine in the room.

Great location, felt central and safe. Easy to access all the DC tourist sites which were at walking distance, as was the nearest metro. Staff were extremely friendly, kind and professional and I have only words of praise for everyone whom I encountered. Hotel facilities were commensurate with the brand. The marketplace downstairs was very convenient and the food available was excellent - fresh and tasty. The room was unexceptional in terms of interior design and view but it was large, clean, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. Having to step up to enter the bathroom was a bit strange but manageable. No hot water kettle in the room but there was a facility for coffee downstairs. Would've been nice to have some tea options as well.

While I generally enjoyed my stay at the property and have no hesitation in recommending it to others, I was perturbed by one point; Both booking.com and the hotel confirmed a lower total rate for the room to me prior to check in but then added USD 60 (+ taxes) on check out stating that they had erroneously endorsed a one time destination charge of USD 30 (+ tax) for the entire trip, when it should have been USD 30 (+ tax) per day. Since this was a daily charge, had I stayed longer the discrepancy would've been even more. The least I would've expected was an apology and commitment to correct the error so others are not similarly inconvenienced but after several follow ups on the platform all I was told is that the charge was correct.

Nice and comfortable room, and very close to the White house. They gave as a couple o free drinks and a room upgrade as it was our honeymoon

Hotel restaurant charged us the wrong table at some moment, and even being warned it was a prepaid card and the money had already been debited, they made us pay for the correct table algo, causing us trouble to fix it with our bank. Better training and better english speaking waiters could help in this situations.

Buffet breakfast for one person was paid for with the destination fee which was good. Breakfast was plentiful. We liked the lounge/lobby area since we had many family members staying in the hotel we were able to congregate there.

The staff was great. smiley, pleasant, attentive.

Didn’t like the change from what the Madison used to be (stylish furnishings, classy wallpaper, fresh flowers and fresh newspaper every morning).

Jonathan, was outstanding his professionalism,public relations skills, is bringing my family and I back!!! Abdul, Amalie, Hector, Chef David, Oliva, Ms.Simms, Edwin, Francisco, Roberto, Martala. All mention was great in treating there guest with respect and the up most courtesy. Please let each of these individuals know that we will be back because of there service and lets not forget Franscoir, and Jose, and Santanna. The one and only DREAM TEAM!!!

There is nothing i did not like, the minute we step in the door Ms. Oliver smile, seem to catch our eyes. with the help Officer Simms. Great Job Guys!!!!!

Room lovely and comfortable, excellent location for seeing the sites in Washington.

View was of rather ugly inner courtyard. Would have liked a kettle and opportunity to make tea and coffee in the room.

location was convenient as I was there for work training. The casual and informal dining for great to know that I could select a decent and healthy meal right there at the hotel

Not the hotel's fault, but I was exhausted from long flight and not able to check in early. Again - not the hotel's fault as they were fully booked the previous night.

. The comfort , the quiet , the cleanliness of the room and staff were great

No i could see or notice. There were not a lot of places to ear. and drink . no fast food or convience stores.

Absolutely loved the design and convenient location, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming

The bathroom floor was a little bit too cold for me, and our toilet was somehow making noises every few minutes, I also wish there would have been actual body wash instead of body soap.
