Clean, parking garage access, more than decent-sized gym and gym equipment. Comfortable bed, and fantastic shower / water pressure. Even the restrooms in the lobby were way above standard.

We thought it was very strange that there was not a single microwave in any of the rooms, lobby, / common areas. I asked the front desk staff, and I was informed that there weren't any microwaves on the property. So, if you were thinking about heating up the leftovers, you could not finish at one of the many great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. No dice.

Pool and food was good and convenient. Diner staff were awesome. MAJID WAS POLITE AND RESPECTFUL AND SOBWAS THEIR STAFF. janitor woman was great too. Brought me a plunger for the room and unclogged the toilet my daughter clogged. Kudos to those staff...

Smell of Marijuana everywhere and the homeless on the streets weren't very pleasant. Staff was polite. MAJID WAS AWESOME, AND THE DINER STAFF WERE THE BEST. 2 OF THE YOUNG CHECK IN MATRONS WERE IGNORANT AS HELL. She clearly was having a bad day at 10am. Slammed a pen down and got pissed when I corrected her on something she misread on my check-in information

My plans changed 4 times prior to my arrival. I was greeted at the reception desk by Sandra. She gave me a big smile and understood my situation right way. A family emergency meant I had to stay longer than anticipated. She not only made sure I was taken care of, she told me to come see her if my plans changed again and she would handle that too. She personally selected a room for me that would be very quiet relaxing. Thank you Sandra, you made my stay stress free.

There wasn't anything I did not like. Everything I like in a hotel was there. It was clean, quiet, offered breakfast, helpful staff.... I did not have any negatives.

The location is very convenient, and the overall staff was very friendly and kind.

However, my wife checked out and waited in the lobby for me. She didn't know how to pull my car out of the parking garage. Because they hold the parking ticket, she asked the lobby receptionist, who was an African American lady . She didn't fully explain and threw away the room entrance key jacket. At that time, another lady approached my wife, explaining that we had come out of the garage door. Just touch the magnet and drop the key into the separate key box. Why is the other lady so nasty? We are first-time guests at the hotel, and we don't know how to get out of the garage. She should have explained to us kindly. That's the only bad memory; everything else was good

Breakfast not included here, but a good breakfast is available a la carte, i.e., not a buffet. Our room was spacious and with nice view of the Plaza. Location is excellent for access to museums and monuments. Best thing: the staff were attentive and pleasant from from the front desk to the people at the front door to the servers in the restaurant. Really nice, big outdoor pool and the gym well equipped. Shower worked well.

the bathroom could be bigger. Sometimes, it was difficult to use the room key card to operate the elevator. The lobby is not so attractive.

I loved the view, the pool, the staff, the location, and the comfort of having a garage i could go in and out of at no charge (though there is a charge in general for using it). The staff was lovely- helpful- and made an effort to provide us with the best accomodations. Love that the pool is open from 9-9! Big plus on hot humid summer days

The bathrooms while big are carpeted and that makes it a bit uncomfortable when walking around with wet feet or from the pool. The overall hotel needs a slight upgrade as it pertains to decor. Also while the staff was lovely, the bar woman outside at the pool was unfriendly.

The major plus is quietness. The beds are very comfortable, window air conditioning unit was fairly quiet doing its job. I loved the lightning in the room and bathroom- beautiful soft golden light, not those modern ugly bluish lights they have now in newer hotels. That light allowed for beautiful make up application and there was a full-size mirror in the room, which was a huge plus for us ladies. There was an ironing board and an iron. The bathroom was clean and pleasant to be in. There is a restaurant in the premises, which is a major place that you don’t have to run around the city looking for a place to eat. A lovely selection of healthy choices and they can modify the menu for you. The stuff at the reception desk and the waitresses in the restaurant are really professional. There is a door man by the entrance door, which is a nice surprise and reference to older days. All in a beautiful uniform and acting professionally. I like the foyer of the hotel, very nice and wealthy looking with beautiful lounge area and beautiful bathrooms. There is a beautiful pool outside by the restaurant which we did not use, but if I had a swimming suit, I would probably have used it as other people did and were even ordering food to the tables by the pool.

The was no fan in the bathroom so all the hot air was getting inside the room. Also it would have been nice to have a ceiling fan above the bed, which would have helped with steam evaporation from the bathroom showers and probably would reduce the air conditioning bill for those guys as well. They are not that difficult to install but are very pleasant and efficient to have around especially in the murky hot weather of Washington DC.

Room was excellent. Plenty of desk space for my writing/viewing iPad and placing my peripherals. Everything was clean. Staff mistakenly placed a baby crib in the room while I was out for the day. I notified front desk and the cheerful service staff came within 5 minutes and removed the crib promptly.

I came to D.C. to spend time in the Museums and attractions on the mall. The location is a bit remote and walking to the hotel may take at least 20+ minutes if you don't mind walking. D.C. city blocks are long! The Metro Station I used (Farragut North) is also at least 10+ minutes walking, assuming you have your Google map showing you the way on the first time. Also, bakeries and cafes are also 10-15+ minutes walk away.

A charge put on my credit card by Wilson Anthony , which I had to dispute to have them removed.The entire stay was great until he decided to abuse his authority

This hotel was very well located. The pool was definitely a plus, and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend it!

The breakfast wasn’t good value in my opinion. The hot cocoa was $6 for the most basic version imaginable, so basic that I assumed it was bottomless. When the waiter offered me another one, I thought it was a free refill, but they charged me $6 again. Overall, the food was overpriced for the quality, and you can easily find better options near the hotel.
