I liked that we could walk to many attractions and that there was a valet service I could purchase at the hotel.

The room wasn't deep cleaned there was some hair and dirt around the bed and sink. Snacks were very expensive.

We had a corner king room on the top floor, so quiet and with a nice city view. We liked the walk in shower and the spacious bathroom. They have MUK bath amenities, awesome! The bed was very comfortable. In the lobby by the bar they have a 24/7 Grab & Go if you are in need and there is always free coffee. The breakfast was rather lame and not fresh enough, but it is not expensive so maybe for someone it is the right choice.

Tiny room but we already knew about it. They also charged a deposit and didn't let me know about it beforehand. As a first time visitor in the US - and my first stay- I'm not used to giving deposits for hotels (I didn't know such thing existed) as this never happened to me in Europe or Asia where I usually travel. Not the hotel's fault of course but they are obligated to inform the customer about it, especially foreigners.

The hotel is located near the main city attractions, just 10 minut walk from the White House and 15 to all museums at National Mall. Valet service for your car is perfect so you don't have to search for parking spot. And I have to say, bar at the roof top is unique, I had there great time.

Size of the room was a little bit disapointing, and fing that I really not understended were glassy walls for bathroom/toilet. I was alone but with someone more - no privacy

We booked a double bunk bed room, the room had enough space for us, a couple. We took advantage to all the activities and free drinks on arrival and enjoyed our evenings in the library or playing games downstairs. The location is about a 15 min walk to The White House and a 10 min walk to the nearest station. The vibe of the hotel is more aimed at younger people however, it welcomes anyone from any age.

The hotel did cost us quite a lot but I think this was due to it being a few days after the 4th of July. However, if we stayed another time of year and it was slightly cheaper I would definitely stay again.

Excellent front desk staff, especially Whitney who help me sort out some problems with my room. Loved the bathroom setup with the frosted glass surround which allowed natural light in. Rooftop bar was fun!

Maintenance of rooms could have been better (heating, Wi-Fi, loose hardware and motorized blinds). More types of pillows would have been nice. Mattress was a bit hard. Sink area lighting was not great for shaving. No closet, low hanging, wall mounted clothes hangers. Bare floors everywhere!

The hotel is very nice, the interiors are very new and well kept. I loved the lobby which is also a bar with lot of seatings and space to chat and play different board games. The staff is amazing, very helpful and kind, i reserved the room with bunk bed because it was the only available but once I arrived there and told them I was alone they offered me a wonderful room with a double bed. They also offer a free drink for every guest!

The only thing is that they have a really nice rooftop on top of the hotel so you can hear the music in the evening from the room, but personally I slept very well.

it was convenient to visit different places Like capitol Hill, Potomac waterfront and Historical city Alexanderia. Eatery nearby is excellent; Meeting friends are also comfortable to hangout & exploring the interesting places.

Parking could have been easier and cheaper- Welcome drink could be served all day long. The room is tiny & no desk- If staying too long here it is hard to work effectively from the room. Toilets are glass enclosed- not bad but a good screen/blind could be a good option to overlook unpleasant thing to watch.

I loved everything about the Moxy. It’s a great location and walkable distance or metro ride to all the city attractions. I loved the Parlour Victoria, the rooftop bar, and games they had available onsite. I was able to enjoy the city by day and enjoy the nightlife right at the hotel so I didn’t have to travel far for that. Just great will definitely be back!

One of the check in staffers was unpleasant and needs to work on his customer service skills. I did not like him to be Frank and if it weren’t for all the other great things this hotel had going for it my review would have been different. He wasn’t very professional and didn’t match the vibe of the hotel. Glad I had very little interaction with him.

I love Moxy hotels, stayed in several around the world. Love the vibe and atmosphere they create. Moxy Washington DC was no exception, loved the people, staff and guests, the location is for me perfect…walking distance to everything I planned to see, I do like to walk a bit though.

It’s not really something I did not like but one need to set expectations when it comes to room size.
