It was close to everything and we actually walked everywhere. Breakfast was very good!!! R00m was good.

The vents were dirty and behind the door in the bedroom--places not not regularly cleaned. The tv in the bedroom never worked even after it was looked at by hotel personnel. Rooms were very expensive, but I understand congress was in session. Lastly, poor utilization of space. Other than the closet with 8 hangers or so, there was no where to put anything and plenty of room to put a dresser with drawers and floating shelves in the bathroom or under the sink for bathroom items. it is inconvenient to have to get in and out of the suitcases all the time especially when your stay is more than a day or so.

ALL staff from the moment we checked in early, to the early mornings the mad rush was lining up for breakfast to the late nights needing a meal, and the guys out front helping people with their luggage…every staff member had a smile on their face and expressed joy in their hearts. Our room was tended to every day, wasn’t expected but was welcomed and appreciated. We had space to stay for a whole week to make it feel like home away from home, with comfortable beds and a place to have a meal. Our son enjoyed swimming every evening and we are grateful for that! And even having washer and dryers to do laundry, WOW! It was so close to walk to restaurants and set out for daily activities and sightseeing. The location was safe, also very grateful for that.

Location, it was really in the heart of DC, White House is just 10 min walk, Capitol is 5 min by taxi. Great area for both business and vacation. Bed is comfortable but pillows weren’t appropriate to me as I like hard ones, the housekeeping staff did here best to find me one but unfortunately couldn’t, hotel should have this kind of pillow.

Breakfast variety of food is very limited, everyday just the same, stayed for 4 nights and really got bored with the same food every day. Eggs station is good but need to pay attention to guests don’t eat pork, staff put pork using their hands and spoons then put hands again in other ingredients also using the same spoons. Also using same pans and plates to fry and serve the eggs. This pork contamination eliminated me from ordering eggs for 4 days. All kind of guests should be treated equally and with high level of respect to their backgrounds and preferences.

New facilities, clean and big rooms, perfect location.

I didnt like that they take a fee of $100 per night on my credit card as a deposit. so if you stay for 10 nights they will hold $1000 on your card and it will be returned after 2 weeks of your checkout.

Excellent breakfast offering, great value for the price.

Front desk was not as friendly when I checked in. Did not offer free bottle water or ask if I had member account number.

Location is the best part of this hotel. Our room was big and comfortable. Tv in room was not smartTV so it is not possible to watch Netflix or connect any other streaming services. Breakfast was good but too crowded with long lines and desperate people bumping each other for food. They have happy hour every day with free bites and drinks, but also extremely crowded. Gym is well equipped.

On the first night I asked for silverware to have a meal in my bedroom and all they could provide was plastic forks and knifes. I requested politely for regular silverware since I was going to use it inside my room, however they said it was not possible to provide that. This is absurd.

Very spacious room with desk for me to study, couches to relax and drawer to the back room if you have someone who wants to go to sleep early. Close proximity to my meetings.

Pretty thin walls. I could hear the people in the next room who were laughing and watching a movie and talking. They weren't being insanely loud. We could just hear them. ALSO, their papers say to text if you need anything and after an hour no one answered me so I put my clothes back on and went down to the desk to borrow a phone charger but they didn't have anyone and suggested I'd buy one in their shop but they weren't sure if they had one and sent me to go look through rulers on my own. At happy hour and employee tried to sell me vacation packages.

Breakfast was excellent! They could make customized omelletes for you. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We were travelling with a baby, and it was the first time that I requested a crib and they brought me an actual steady crib with matress and sheets and not a park&play like other places. We loved the evening reception with free drinks and snacks and all sightseeings were within 10 min walk.

The HVAC system they use must be central. The temperature in the room was good for most of the time. However, the temperature outside dropped for 2/6 nights of our stay and it became uncomfortably cold inside. Raising the temperature in the thermostat did nothing, it was blowing cold air. Even if we had it shut, it was still blowing some air and the room was cold to sleep in.

*The breakfast was very nice. The hot omelette line was great as well as the multiple selections of food. *The pool temperature were really good. *King Suite was very spacious

* Valet parking charge was $60 with an additional $10 charge each time it was used and was not told of the amount it would be before hand. * There was no sugar free syrup option at breakfast. * Temperature in the restaurant was extremely cold in the evening. Asked to have it adjusted and server said they could not. * Ice machine was broken and out of service on our floor. *chlorine level in pool was too high.

The location is great if you want to visit the Convention center and the mall. The omelets at rhe breakfast are great as well. I appreciate the warm plain Oats an fresh fruits for breakfast. The evening reception is also great, a nice time to wind down and grab a snack. The room was spacious and remarkably well furnished: no unnecessary decor elements and plenty of power outlets.

The rooms are not properly isolated. If the neighbors are loud, then you'll hear everything. The pillows are not comfortable, too big and stiff for me. The pool was terrible: it was dirty, foamy and smelly. There is no sauna, so the pool temperature is unpleasantly warm. It would be nice to have some vegetables for breakfast. This is a hotel near many venues with international activity, and not everyone is fond of American-style breakfast. The hotel was not responsive to my querries online, and did not accommodate the changes to my booking: I asked to change the number of people in advance and that did not happen. Therefore I had to pay for 3 persons, although I stayed alone.
