Good location, safe area, had bar and restaurant

Load and unload area very small and crowded. Nobody expediting car movement. Free coffee and breakfast totally overwhelmed. Not enough coffee food or seating. Breakfast staff totally overwhelmed! Front desk staff was totally burnt out. Polite but no positive energy!

Loved the Queen Corner suite privacy. Great amenities right next door to the DC Convention Center. Great cooking space. Exceptional staff and parking onsite.

The mattress and pillows were absolutely horrible. The pillows were so flat and the mattress was terribly soft. It was like sleeping on a bad cot with almost no pillow support at all. For a long-term stay, this made for horrible sleeping and minimal good rest. For the price of $4,500 at 1 week, I expected a better sleeping experience.

The staff we encounter were very pleasant, very helpful, very attentive and very welcoming. I went for my birthday weekend and they ensured I had a great time for the short stay I had. Togi- The general manager, very helpful in recommending restaurants and sites near by. Auriel - Receptionist, very friendly on welcoming us and organised a nice birthday surprise with Togi for me. Yezi- Valet, extremely friendly & funny, along with his other team members. I almost didn’t stay here due to other reviews but I can truly say it was well worth the short trip and planning on going back before returning to London.

The breakfast is very stale

Our stay in Washington, D.C., was absolutely spectacular, and this hotel made it even better! The room was incredibly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed—and more—for a perfect stay. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to start the day off right, and the hotel service was simply outstanding. I’m leaving this beautiful city completely in love, but what I’m most in love with is its people. Everyone we encountered, from the hotel staff to locals, was so kind and always willing to help. We definitely left wanting more and will absolutely return in the future. Thank you for everything!

Good location. 10-30 minute walk to lots of restaurants, shopping and national mall. Clean, updated/modern facilities. 4 family members traveling - 1 studio, 1 bedroom suite. Good amount of space, with VERY comfortable beds and sleeper couch, kitchenette with modern appliances. Helpful, friendly staff. Nice lobby, with a lounge and fireplace (room key required to enter - which is a plus), nice rooftop area for drinks/appetizers (just needs to stay open past 10 pm on weekends). Great coffee!

The breakfast was really bad! I mean - inedible bad...! The boiled eggs were rubbery; waffles (frozen variety) that were wilted, spongy and chewy; biscuits mealy, pasty & crumbly...the oatmeal was lukewarm. We ended up having coffee, bananas and oranges for breakfast. The next day we dined out! When we first arrived, there were no extra linens left in room for sleeper couch (call to front desk remedied this quickly). Sleeper couch not very comfortable, but we made it work. Need instructions left in plain site for online checkout & wifi. Water pressure not great, but good sized stand alone shower. Biggest issue was the breakfast. They MUST fix this!!

Breakfast was superb. Helen and staff in breakfast room were great -- friendly, professional, and efficient in refilling food/drink areas. Food was delicious. Nice variety of spots to sit and eat -- couches & chairs in alcoves or sitting at tables in breakfast room. Oatmeal had lots of toppings, oak milk or 2% milk. Crustless spinach and swiss cheese were wonderful!

Menu at the on-site restaurant/bar was very limited. Market on-site had very limited type and variety of items like toiletries. Booking.com turned my reservation into 2 separate bookings under 2 different names unbeknownst to me and despite that I reserved both rooms and thought both were under my name. This was confusing!

It is a beautiful, comfortable, elegant hotel, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The Room Service food was excellent!

The only negative is that Sunday morning? I was awakened at 6:45 AM. My things falling on the floor above me I called the front desk, and they said they would send security up to the gym, as people were probably dropping weights. It stopped for about 10 minutes, and then came back. I guess they don’t have control over people throwing weights on the floor of the gym upstairs. Too bad the gym is on the top floor. But, that was the only negative.

Excellent staff, very helpful and polite. Fantastic room - plenty of space, extremely comfortable bed, very clean. Good location in a safe area and able to walk to the metro or to main attractions as required. Room service and laundry on site very handy

Breakfast: limited selection of food, needs more cereal, fresh fruit & juice options, and a wider range of hot food. Everything is very gluten-heavy. No-one cleaning tables, too much disposable cutlery. I was concerned about getting sick with so much crowding and so many people touching utensils etc without being wiped over/monitored. Terrible water pressure in the bathroom sink and the shower Very noisy a/c

The breakfast was good, staff was friendly, 1 BR suite with kitchenette was spacious.

A lot of road noise possibly delivery trucks near our window, especially early in the morning (between 5 and 6 am) that woke us both days. Decided to enjoy a glass of wine in our room the first night. 3 of the 4 wine glasses that we took from the kitchen were dirty with dried on food. The refrigerator had food stains, leftover food bits on 2 of the shelves. It was off-putting.

The breakfast was good but they ran out of regular coffee. The maid who was in the hall when we checked out was so sweet!

I wish they would have told us that we needed to use the card key to operate the elevator. We also needed to use the card key to open the front door after a certain hour. We were not the only ones who were confused. It seemed like guests were helping the other guests. A bit more communication at check-in would be nice.
