Atmosphere, cleanness, staff, location

Too many charges that were unexpected. Guests got charged for using wifi in the room. Vouchers given weren’t really vouchers. They charged a fee and credited back by making guests think they’re given vouchers to spend on food.

The location is excellent, the breakfast is delicious but the rooms left a lot to be desired.

The rooms are small. The door had a gap underneath and I could hear everything outside and even see shadows of people walking in front of the door inside. The paid wifi seemed odd, but could be mitigated by becoming a member. If my company wasn't paying for it not sure I would stay here again.

Hotel staff were very professional, efficient and friendly. Rooms were clean with stylish decor. Location is convenient, with many attractions within close walking distance.

WiFi is not free if not a Marriott member who booked directly (i.e. not through booking.com), mobile data coverage in the rooms is not great either.

The beds were very comfy and the complementary aroma therapy lavender oil was nice. The lobby was a nice and welcoming space; for those who like to mingle with other guests, it would be an ideal place to rest at the end of the day. I liked that the bathroom had a light under the sink that was just bright enough to help you find the toilet in the middle of the night.

The price was higher than I like for my travel, but the amenities almost make up for the high cost. Considering the proximity to the DC convention center it is worth it.

When we arrived the hotel, we were told that I booked a wrong room because of the incorrect description of the room on booking.com. The lobby manager and the receptionist took responsibility and upgraded our room for us without extra charge. The lobby manager and the receptionists are very responsible. We was impressed with their professionalism.

Didn't include breakfast. The statements in Booking.com about breakfast are misleading. The page should just say: Breakfast is not included, instead of putting (breakfast $25). This could also mean that breakfast value is $25 and it is included.

The location is good but the traffic in DC is horrible! We used almost two hours for moving 20 miles. The garage is not easy to find but the hotel has very good valet service that you do not need to worry about a bit about your car. The hotel room is not as big as other four star hotels, but it is very quiet. The beds and pillows are one of the best I have ever had in my hotel experience. I had a very good sleep in this hotel.

Great stay, excellent & friendly staff, the location is also very good, even though they were under construction, everything was still running well with no disruption. I stayed in one of the renovated rooms and like the new interior, the space is so large and spacious, I actually moved from a different hotel to this one because the space was so small in the other hotel, it’s double in size for the same price, this place exceeded my expectation in so many way, I highly recommend.

The sirens at night esp during the weekend, it’d not something the hotel can control and I don’t think this could be avoided if you choose a central location like this in DC.

Beautiful, clean hotel, with many included amenities. Loved the extras at check in. The beds were super comfy, bathroom was clean, and the food at the hotel restaurant was delicious.

You could hear the activity in the hallways. Not noise room to room but all of the chatting and movement in the hallways.

Located just near the convention center, which was very useful for me.

I couldn't really figure the charges for the (included) breakfast, it felt very non-intuitive, and I am still not sure whether I paid for the breakfast or not.
