They charged us more that we had on our confirmation for the stay and added an additional $26 charge as well and we have no idea what for. Sent an email to the property and they have never responded. We ended up paying about $35 more than we had expected. I guess it's not a huge deal but it's nice to know when you book what you will be charged and the additional fee is a mystery
did not like that the property did not care to respond to our question about the over charge

Everything was great, from the easy check in through to the easy check out! The room was perfect for my husband and I. The king sized bed was super comfy. The bathroom was well stocked and the towels were thick and fluffy. There is a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and electric tea kettle, as well as coffee, teas, and hot chocolate. The inn is located super close to some restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. We chatted with the gentleman who owns the inn and he was super nice! I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever visiting Lopez Island in the future!
We liked everything! Our only suggestion would be a mirror outside of the bathroom.

Great location in a walkable town. Liked the historic feel of the inn, and the local art and photography displayed inside. Always found parking easily on the property. Appreciated the mini-fridge. Although I never saw staff, their contact info was readily available in the info provided.
Walls were thin, hallways echoed. Could hear your neighbors talking and kids crying. Bring ear plugs. The old-style bathtub could use a refinish.

The property was in fine shape when we arrived on a cool Thanksgiving day. Our room was almost exactly as pictured on the website, nice and roomy including a big bathroom. Not mentioned in the booking.com listing was the mini-fridge, a nice surprise. And the larger fridge/freezer in the adjacent hallway closet was useful as well. The breakfast (mini-quiche, yogurt, bread/pastry) delivered to our room each morning was OK; however we learned that breakfast does not happen during off-season on weekdays (i.e., no breakfast Friday morning). The staff was very responsive to our texts (no voice phone service for our network provider). We liked the cozy living room and breakfast room, which had a microwave oven, bottled water, dishes and flatware for our use, plus a tea selection. The self-check-in was a snap. The location and the WiFi were excellent.
We'd read reviews that mentioned the too-firm (for some folks) beds, so we brought our feather bed topper just in case. Sure enough -- too firm, so we put the topper under the bottom sheet. Ah, much better. Our only other complaint is the claustrophobic bathtub/shower with its wrap-around curtain. Provided towels were great.

Well appointed room, loved the location, delicious coffee in the room for our enjoyment, very good value all around. Sheets were super soft and the bed very comfortable. Loved all of the windows which showered the room in natural sunlight. The grounds were meticulously maintained with plenty of inviting seating areas beckoning.
Absolutely nothing not to like!

Super unique, original and cozy property. It felt like we were visiting a friend or family at their house. Staff was always available over the phone to give us good advice on where to visit around the island. Excellent attention giving to us especially as they welcomed us for our honeymoon with flowers and champaign! The breakfasts were amazing!!! Loved how original and personalized this experience was!
We felt the shower and bathrooms could have used an upgrade. Although it had a vintage feel, it was not spacious enough to shower comfortably and for 2 people to share the bathroom. Also we would have loved to see a staff available at the property/front desk at some point during our stay.

The Edenwild is located in the area of town where most of the restaurants and shops are, with lots of things to do and walk to. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and very nice linens. Everything went smoothly with check in and no problems at all during our stay.
Nothing, it was fabulous!

It is right in the middle of town and walking distance to restaurants and the store. The sack breakfast was delicious.
I wish the bedding was better. Pure cotton would be so much nicer than synthetic. The comforter and pillow covers were a creepy material too. It would be an easy upgrade and make it so much more comfortable.
