Breakfast was good. It had the basics and each of my kids found something to eat which is a task in and of itself! The beds were AMAZINGLY comfortable. That was our favorite part. The pool was nice and I loved how the exercise center was overlooking the pool and right beside it so I could workout and watch my kids while being two steps away from them. I liked that the pool also had an outdoor sitting area so we could enjoy the outdoors while at the pool. The birds were cool too and my kids loved seeing them! The location was great as well- everything was very close by! Overall great experience

The hotel is a bit outdated and it wasn’t as upscale, but for the location and what we needed all the rest made it an overall great place to be and stay.

The property is a hidden gem honestly. The decor is super nice. The gym is set up nicely with cold water dispenser, Fresh towels and open 24 hrs. Abby, the bird was a nice surprise. The Restaurant/Bar was nice in case you’d rather stay in. No room service but that’s something that would be welcomed by guests. The pool and hot tub was OPEN at 5:30-11 which we enjoyed!! The breakfast buffet was the nicest I’ve ever seen! The fresh cut fruit was a nice surprise. Staff were all very friendly.

Free breakfast buffet with our stay would have been great! I feel like it should be included at the price point.

The overall experience was fine, but I want to single out this particular hotel for their assistance. My mother accidentally left her I-Pad under a cover in the room. The maid discovered it, turned it into the front desk, and they notified us they had it and requested what action to be taken. Although it took a couple of weeks due to a few glitches, we DID receive the I-Pad back in Missouri about two weeks later. They did not HAVE to do this, we would never have known for sure where we lost it. But they went above and beyond, and we do sincerely appreciate it. A nice hotel, close proximity to Hardee's and a few other places. Not the best looking place from the road, but it was an excellent night's stay after a long drive.

Charleston was the halfway point for our family's first road trip (Indiana to North Carolina). On our way there, we stayed at a hotel that did not have a pool, but trying to wear out our 4 & 2.5 year old after 7 hours in the car in just our room was challenging. We decided to stay at this location on our return trip because of the pool. Thankfully the pools hours were incredibly accommodating -- we didn't arrive until 9:30pm and the pool was open until 11pm. Our kids, despite being exhausted, really enjoyed the pool so much so that we returned the next morning at 7am.

When we arrived at 9:30pm, it was VERY busy in the lobby so we ended up having to wait a while until we were able to be checked in which was very surprising, but the employee was incredibly kind!

We love the pool and Jacuzzi spa. And the design that having the restroom and shower inside the pool room is thus far the best I've seen among the holiday inn indoor pool facilities. Just for this reason alone, we would love to stay here again!

Breakfast finishes at 9 30am, so never had a chance to try. There's no real closet in the room, nor a little table and chair besides the desk and office chair. Been to many IHG holiday inns, this room we stayed seems bit crowded.

There was a small issue with our original room. Jodi was quick to get us moved to another room and it was great. Thank you Jodi for making our short stay a great one.

Carpeting throughout facility was a bit tired and stained. There were no receptacles in our room with USB connections for device chargers.

Very nice staff (aside from the restaurant), front desk and housekeeping (esp the linen man!) were wonderful

Location - not the best area as far as safety wise. Nothing around either. Have to travel just a short 10 minute drive to get to anything so not too terrible

Everyone was very nice, friendly.

I was disappointed that the hot tub was under repair. A little bothered that we had sign on our door for staying green, which I thought meant we didn't want housekeeping services until our stay was over, but the housekeeper attempted to come in our room. Possibly I misunderstood the sign's meaning

Very clean hotel and the area felt safe. The bed was quite comfortable. The soap/shampoo/conditioner was really nice and smelled lovely. The breakfast buffet was nice, a good value- I had the french toast and it was delicious.

My room was right next to the elevator so it was a bit loud, really not that big of a problem though!

I’m 72, stayed in more hotels than I can count in 17 different states and the staff here from custodial to housekeeping to restaurant to front desk were the friendliest cheerful helpful team ive ever encountered. I suspect it’s West Virginia hospitality on display, Thank Y’all
